Michael Jackson feat. 50 cent - MONSTER - its the real deal says 50 -READ!

I know many people will not like me for saying this BUT . I think MONSTER IS GREAT !!!

The beat, the rhytm it's amazing. And I think it isMJ singing.

SONY has no reason to put fake songs on the album, I just don't believe it. There are many songs in the vault, they've paid a record 250 million dollars for the right to release them - WHY would they release fakes? To keep records to come? - NO. When the contract expires there will still be many songs left to release, and we don't know if SONY buys the right to release them. We don't know if SONY will make a new contract with the Estate. Maybe another label will outbid SONY - So for SONY the only smart thing is to release true MJ songs. why would SONY risk releasing fake songs, and when their contrack expires another label get's the right to release real MJ songs? - MAKES NO SENSE!

We better accept that it really is MJ on BN, KYHU and Monster.

KYHU I can hear MJ all the way, no doubt.
BN - A little tricky indeed, but I think it is MJ
Monster - MJ.

i was genuinely gonna post somethin along the lines of this but you took the words outta my mouth. me and you seem to be in complete agreement thank god haha :clapping:

I don't think so. There's no proof either way that it is or isn't MJ, so I'm going to stick with my opinion until there's some concrete proof that it is him, and if that happens, my opinions on the quality of the songs will not change.

Why would Sony risk it? I don't know. Maybe they thought they could get away with it? Or they think it's actually Michael when it isn't?

I had doubts about Breaking News because it sounded explicitly like another singer, but Monster/KYHU/Much Too Soon (I haven't heard the other one) sound more than enough like Michael for me to buy it. If the Evil Sony somehow created phony Michael Jackson songs that sound so much like him that only diehard fans with magical ears in tune with MJ's very being to a creepy degree can tell the difference, then I guess they got away with it. I got better stuff to concern myself with.

I've been listening to MJ since I was like 2 and on a casual listen I say that Monster is him. Admittedly I've never sat down and studied his voice and his diction, but I consider myself better off for that lol.

Also, with some finishing touches I think this song could be a hit.

Why would they pay $250 million to put out a remix of a song they released 6 years ago? Don't know, but its happening.

do you believe Monster is a complete new michael jackson song? with all the elements in it, be it michaels voice, his shouts, and the music and what else not.

That depends on your definition of "complete new michael jackson song", doesn't it? ;) I haven't heard the finished version yet either (and no, I'm not asking for a pm here).

Monster will most likely be dismissed as more anti-tabloid, self-obsessed paranoia. I don't think it will be a hit because it's not even one of those songs that "sounds good" without listening to the lyrics properly.

I would like a PM with Another Day - is the album version leaked? - Please PM me if so.

... "magical ears in tune with MJ's very being to a creepy degree"? Love it, lol.

Regardless if this is Michael or not, the quality of the mix is terrible. I really hope these Casico songs are properly mixed by the time they hit the album.

I'm not denying that he sounds different. If you go back to my posts you'll see that I classified myself as "torn".

but do we have any other song recorded in a home studio with no professional sound engineer to make a legit comparison? or Perhaps he sounds different because of the recording conditions and that he's not giving his 100%?

and actually I do not base my opinions solely on psychology. Again look to my previous posts that mentions that I worked as an assistant to a pop-rock band in my native country.

.

good post ,,,

all in all ,fake or real, i do not think these song should come out ...if they are demos and ideas and he's not given his 100% which means they are not MJ songs yet,why to include them...
Although ,maybe if they did not,,, MJ music fans would be mad at Sony for not sharing everything they have from MJ's genius!

Pesonaly,,i will buy the album and enjoy it and i'm not labeling any of the songs as fake !

becuase in this matter i took Teddy's word and no one else's including the Cascios becuase i do not know them,, but i can say that Teddy is well known for decades and he was friend with MJ tell the end ! he needs no money or fame, he only did this for MJ since he was requested by the Estate and the family who recorded the demos with MJ to make them as good as MJ woud love !

what happened with Teddy is similar to what happened with Kenny Ortega,,,they were asked to make art from the bits they have and they felt responsible as MJ friends to fulfill MJ's vision as much as possible since they worked with him for decades...

i think MJ voice in the songs is similar to his dancing in TII rehearsals , bits , raw ideas and not his 100%!
my 2 cents

Have you ever seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB6znGotWL4 Compare the playback vocals and his actual voice between the song and at the end.

Could it be a case of not trying to hit a high pitch? who knows?

I just watched that again and then scrolled down to the comments for a moment - people on youtube don't seem to be too interested in his voice, haha. Don't know if that's sad or funny.

But what I wanted to ask ... I didn't really get what you mean and what you want people to listen to and compare? I'm having a blonde moment, sorry.

It's the gold pants effect :cheeky:

I just pointed out his speaking voice in the middle and how relatively deep (and nasal) it was then his regular voice at the end. And how the professionally recorded playback sounds better/cleaner than live voices.

HA! That's probably the reason why I didn't get your post, I should have watched it with my eyes closed. I'll rename my "blonde moment" to "gold pants moment". ;)

Oh yeah, now I get it. People underestimate the whole equipment thing. And btw., I have my own opinion about his speaking voice, but I'll keep that to myself, people on here would crucify me for it, lol.

Are the vocals between 0:34 and 0:50 live and those between 1:06 and 1:13 are not? Those would be the "spoken" parts of the song.

Now, all that's left is his wondrous voice, and no amount of people proclaiming it to be fake will not affect me, because I know it's him and no-one can ruin it for me, it only ticks me off that FANS are trying to deliberately hurt other fans. When people comment about how fans are "stupid" and "not real fans" for believing the Cascios to be genuine, it's really hurtful, moreso than you'd think. At least have a clear and concise argument before proclaiming "FAKE!!!! IT'S JASON MALACHI!!!!! $ONY IS THE DEVIL!!!! THE CASCIOS ARE TOO!!!!!"

Thanks for posting. People can really be funny sometimes, eh?

yep

between 0:34 and 0:50 is live
between 1:06 and 1:13 is playback
after 1:30 (I love you's etc) is again live

Thank you. Yep, after 1:30, that's after the song. That was interesting on all kinds of levels. Not only because if I didn't know that's MJ between 0:34 and 0:50 I probably would have thought that's somebody completely different, but also because of some other opinion that I mentioned above, but won't ever mention again, lol.

Ok, now back to the gold pants. Wait, wrong thread.

The 50 rap was deliberately cut out and you can hear were.

LOL. The 50 cent rap is NOT cut out, the album version will have the rap verse ADDED. 50 Cent has just recorded vocals SEPARATELY for "Monster" (remember DJ Whoo Kid?), that's why he's not on the original version.

After playing back over, and over, and over again, (I am addicted to this song), this is Michael singing. No doubt about it. It is a little different in sound vocally, I wouldn't be surprised if the vocals were simply a rough take, to be revisited again at a later date. The adlibs at the end are so Michael I can't deny it not being him at all.

This reminds me of What About Us/Earth Song where he scrapped some of the vocals and re-recorded them in a more stronger tone for the official release. I bet he would have done some changes vocally to the tone of the track, especially on the verses, but the ending is perfect so I could see that staying on the song if he were still here to finish it.
