Infairness i don't mind fans who won't accept this is Michael, that is up to them but people who are trying to sabotage the sales of the album are not real fans.

I'm not gonna judge on that. Try to feel their frustration too before judging it. I'm just gonna say that i don't do that, but neither do i mind it much if it does happen. I strongly believe Sony are fucking us over now and some people are falling for it. That's my opinion and i refuse to support that. Honestly..i really don't care much anymore.

The good man is gone sadly, very very sadly....but his legacy has already been sealed, if you ask me that happened already after his HIStory album. His legacy is untouchable, and i really don't care much what others say, who don't like his music. I HIGHLY doubt this situation will damage his legacy in any way, i know it won't for me. So that's why i don't mind if people are so against the album...that they decide to do something about it. Don't forget...the people trying to 'sabotage' sales, ARE fans...they care about his real music, and want them to put that out, not this highly questionable stuff. It was clear from the get go that the estate nor sony didn't give a damn,,, a nice anouncement but at the same time it meant 'it doesn't matter what you say people....these songs WILL be on it"

Thank You gottobethere...lol

People really think they are "teaching Sony a lesson" lmfao...all your doing is playing right into the media's (who are waiting just as some of we are for the first reports of sales) hands and giving them ammunition to talk shit. Where is the logic in "boycotting" this CD but not Sony's other artist or products (If Sony is who you really want to hurt)? I cringe when I see comments from "fans" claiming that if the album doesn't do well, then maybe they (Sony) will "listen up" or some ish like that...really? I mean really? And all of this based on your opinion. It's crazy...MJ has the most interesting "fans" out there...organizing and trying to get people to not support MJ's legacy because you don't think it's MJ singing on some tracks smh...

I think this thread should stay open just for the sake of the much needed venting all of us have to do..

Yeah well with all due respect....this thread was highly unnessecary.
But of course 54987567789576589765865 threads with repeating same nonsense over and over again regarding Cascio's songs and Jason Malachi is perfectly fine.

@MJStorm
Forget haters (on Amazon). They are already punished because in this world there are so many beautiful things and yet they'll spent their lives in hatred and ignorance. I know it's frustrating because someone is bashing Michael but you can't change that. The best thing you can do is to write own truthful review and every normal person will see the difference. :)
Cheers!

I'm sorry that this post is going to sound self-righteous but here I go..

This review on Amazon:

"1*
Don't be fooled. Many of the songs are not sung by Michael Jackson. It's an impersonator. Fall for it if you wish but you've been warned.''

That could have been said much differently, whilst still voicing their concerns.

For a start they aren't specific about how many/which songs they have this BELIEF about.

That could leave people thinking that lots of songs are fake, and dismiss the whole album as fake.

Fair enough about people having concerns about (at maximum) 3 of the songs. When Breaking News came out that gave me concerns.

However, there are 10 songs on there.. not just the 3 Cascio songs.

Michael's art IS on there, his time, his heart.. it's not nice to completely trash it.

People of course have every right to their beliefs and opinions, it would just be nice if they expressed them a little clearer & were more specific.

I have seen comments on Hold My Hand on youtube from unknowing people, saying that song is fake because of what they've read/heard about 'fake songs' on this album.

Also, side note.. Karen Faye telling her followers to download the album illegally is out of order, in my opinion. She is very influential among a large group of the fan community who cling to her and follow her every word.

Giving this album a one star rating and claiming that "it isn't Michael singing on this album" is saddening to me because the vast majority of tracks are certifiably Michael and have no controversy surrounding them what-so-ever. I've read many one star reviews by fans on iTunes and elsewhere which say nothing more than "it's not Michael! Don't buy!" These fans are essentially taking all of Michael's masterful tracks on the album and saying that none of them are even remotely worthy, all because of the controversy surrounding just three of the 10 tracks.

Fans should know that such actions will do far more harm to Michael's image than to Sony's. The media will pick up on all of the negative fan reviews and use these words to tarnish Michael, not Sony. "Fans outraged over Michael's lackluster music on new album." Just look at what the media did with the fan's actions when Michael appeared at the WMAs in 2006. The fans regularly booed other artists such as Lindsay Lohan, yet the media took the boos and claimed that the fans had booed Michael off the stage.

I feel that ratings should be based on the musical content contained within the album, as a whole. If fans are outraged over three of the 10 tracks, but love the remaining seven, the final rating and comments they give should reflect this. There are better ways to protest Sony than to claim that the music on 'Michael' isn't worthy of more than one star.

:clapping:

I do not believe what's happening. It's a shame. Michael did not deserve to have that kind of people as fans. He did not deserve this.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but it is Michael who WARNED us fans about all this. He is the one who started talking against sony in the first place. Not any of his fans. You want proof? If there is even proof of ANYTHING, there is 100% proof of that! And he did it because just in case something happens to him, we would at least have an idea of what happened.

I got the album last night and I love it. Having said that I must also say that some people be it some of Michael's fans or some in Michael's family have made this the worst experience ever for me personally since June 25 2009. I am embarrassed to call myself a fan. I have considered leaving these message boards because I hate coming here to see bullshit like this. Great threads are ruined and possibly Michael's album will be ruined and at the end of the day that only hurts Michael's legacy you think Sony gives two craps about the Jackson family and certain fans how they react? Hell no. Without an ounce of proof Michael's "loving" family managed to screw up every damn thing with there twitter nonsense. Michael I am sorry you deserved so much better you can't even catch a break now. What I would not give to go back to 2006 when we never saw Michael some of you cried about that but at least we knew wherever he was he was with us.

My heart broke when I saw the "43% off" on MICHAEL album on Amazon, ven worse, when read other fans' harsh comments.
Im writing some nice comment, which MICHAEL deserves, soon.

I don't know if you are aware of this but Michael resigned with said record label in 07

I'm referring to comments on the site AMAZON.COM.

It's a SHAME!!!!:mat::ranting

If anyone cares about Michael. If anyone here really cares about something ... go to that site and write something positive ... for God's sake!!!!

Sorry for those who do not deserve to hear (or read) this, but someone has to write about it.

Can't agree more. I respect those who don't believe it's Michael singing. BUT if you really care about MJ, why did you have to write anything so negatively and only give it 1 star? Is this album really so bad? NOOOPE. Even if that 3 songs were fake, then the rest 7 songs sung by Michael only deserved 1 star? I can't believe it. I personally think those ppl who did that damage are either haters or fans brainwashed or they felt voicing their opinions are way MORE important than caring about MJ legacy.

Regardless, if you believe that certain tracks are questionable, this is a Michael Jackson album and I agree shouldn't it be judged in it's entirely not because of one's feelings about a few of the tracks. Who knows what bearing these negative reviews posted on Amazon, Itunes, will have on the average music purchaser, it could very well direcly affect sales in a major way. It you believe the tracks are fake that's fine, discuss it, debate the hell out it on forums like this.

I know for me, I want this album to have the best sales it can possible have, because if it doesn't, than all the naysayers and parasites that have always wished and wanted to see Michael fail, well they will have a field day, saying even his own fans don't want to buy the album. Should I care what they think, maybe not, but when it comes to Michael I often think with my heart, and any negativity in his direction, whether or not it is directed at Sony, still hurts. I always think of potential new fans, if one of these negative reviews influences just one person not to buy the album, that's one person too many.

I understand not wanting to buy the album but to give it 1 star is a little harsh. Even the family members who question certain songs say they support the album. I wish the family members would show proof or would have stopped the album from coming out instead of going on twitter. If they really felt Michael was being wronged. Whether you think it is Michael or not this whole experience has been terrible.

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry when I see so many of you are so obssessed about sales, chart postion and now the comments on amazon.com on this album.

If you think Michael's legacy will be jeopardized by the sales or comments on this album, you seriously underestimate the strength of Michael Joseph Jackson's legacy. In his life, Michael went through the worst character assination, the most horrible accusations and the most dehumanizing ridicule ever. As if those adversaties were not enough, he had to live with a disfiguring skin disorder. He dealt with them with grace.

Now, he's gone. But, his genius will forever be remembered. His legacy is INVINCIBLE.

The album MICHAEL is so insignificant when comparing to his legendary catalog. Michael's legacy is not defined by this album. His legacy is defined by the works he created in his life.

Before you get angry, ask yourself who those comments you dislike so much direct to. They are not directed to Michael. They are directed to the people who put this album together. A huge difference.

As a fan, I'd rather the general be educated that some songs on the album are over processed. Some songs on the album are below the Michael Jackson stanadard.

I think it's even worse when a new fan listens to Breaking News and thinks that's Michael Jackson all about. That's what he had to offer in his final years?

The album is just released in the U.S. today. No one knows how this album has performed yet. Some of you just assumed that the album is not doing well...Isn't it a little premature?

Finally, Michael was an open minded person. Do you think he would encourage censorship?

I don't think this album defines Michael. After what Michael went through and survived his legacy is forever. He sold out 50 concerts just like that after everything. What he did for the music and entertainment industry is felt today.

From what I observed it seems that most people who think that the 3 songs are not Michael yet the other 7 are. So why don't they review that? I am just tired of all the negativity. Michael being gone is the worst part. I miss him and this doesn't help.

The average consumer is not going to believe what crazed, message board fans write or say.

Nobody - outside of the obsessed - is going to believe Sony would put out fake tracks, or that anyone could pull of singing like MJ for an entire song.

Exactly! But sadly there will always be those who need to be negative and hurt others. Too often people, perhaps bored or just frustrated, need to believe in adversity to find a little emotion. L.O.V.E. takes more work than hate, which is lazy and dumb. Wake up people, what are you doing to yourselves!

Why?

Because I told the truth?

I'm NOT attacking the fans who do not believe that is MJ's voice. I'm attacking the "fans" who are attacking his work on that site (amazon.com).

Its the same people.......and you know it is.

The people writing bad reviews on amazon are the same fans who are digusted on certain message boards about the vocals being fake.

Amen!

Especially when even the nay-sayers don't know for sure if the songs are fake. They believe they are, but don't know for sure. So why torpedo the project on a hunch fueled by conspiracy theories?

People have rights to opinion... yeah i agree (sort of), but with all the squabbling i must confess something. Things on here are no longer just people "sharing opinions" i must say that people (particularly Cascio conspiracy theorists) are shoving their 'opinions' down people's throats, some of them even trolling around threads that are about how positive the album is and just ruining the happy mood by saying stuff like "Michael wouldn't sing stuff like this" or whatever you conspiracy theorists like to say. It's actually bullying and agression almost demanding tones some (not all) use, facts are facts, but opinions are opinions and just that, they don't stand for truth, they are an idea or a concept that a single person (or group of people) have. And even when evidence and explanations are given they still stand stubbornly by their 'opinion' in ignorance... but this is also happening on a larger scale, something Michael warned us of... Global Warming, which has evidence of existence and yet we have a group of people that for whatever reason refuse to take on board the evidence and continue to live in their ignorance.

Dont get me wrong though, you have every right to stand around in ignorance while bashing Sony at every corner and turn, and yet Michael only hated Tommy Mottola, and resigned to Sony in 2007.

But if you continue to ignore facts and get sucked into conspiracy theories just like those of MJ and Elvis living together or that earthquakes are created by the Illuminati. You are the ones that are missing out

Wow..wow calm down, will you? take a chill pill or something and watch your language. 'Shame!!' indeed..

This thread made me angry and disgusted.

Agreed!

I agree MJStorm. MJ has some of the worst 'fans' (if you can call them that!?) in the world, that's for sure.

Years of fighting hate on MJ's behalf has turned some of these people into 'haters' themselves. They trust nothing and nobody, and that's far from 'healthy'.

I hate to say it, but MJ would be ashamed at what some of them are saying about his songs, his creations. To me, they are a disgrace to his name.

MJStorm, I COMPLETELY agree with you. The situation is VERY sad. I have NEVER thought that I would see the day when Michael's own fanbase would turn their backs on him. I am shocked and horrifired and ashamed to be a part of the fandom right now. They are ruining the album and when they realise what they have done, it will already be too late. Poor Michael, I am sorry this is happening to you.

In Russia these fans are even speaking on TV urging people not to buy the album. SHAME!

Excatly.
I will tell you my story.
When "Breaking News" was presented on Michaeljackson.com I was not at home.
My daughter who is 15 went on facebook and read the stories how BN is not Michael without listening to the song first.
I guess many ppl belived stories like that before hearing the songs. I must say she changed her mind after listening to the whole album, but that is not important here.
Idk what to say anymore.
I am totaly confused how certain " fans " behave. Totaly.

I agree:

Shame!!! shame!!! shame!!! on Sony and the Estate for what they do to Michael Jackson

It isn't a shame. This CD is worthless. Michael would be angry to see what the estate does with his name. I don't understand how you do, "fans", to accept that.

Do you think it's acceptable that Riley is proud to tell "I used Melodyne and it makes Michael's voice worse"? Amongst other scandalous things?

I'm proud to be a REAL Michael's fan and I'm proud to tell: "I didn't buy 'Michael' CD cause I want respect for Michael Jackson".

Whatever you were before, you, and people like you, are no fans of Michael Jackson.

Kid yourself, and lie to others all you like, but you are not a fan of Michael Jackson. He would be ashamed of you, and people like you.

40 posts - and all anti Michael Jackson?

'Fake Fan' more like!
