There's a hearing this Wednesday. and then there would be developments, decisions by the judge. we'll see whether it goes to court or not.

Based on what we know so far, I do not see this case doing well in court if it gets that far.

Poor Kenny!! I hope this farce of a lawsuit gets thrown out quickly. I don't care for AEG but Kenny Ortega shouldn't have been named in that money grab attempt.

I feel bad for Kenny as well. He always seemed like a decent guy to me.

I find the addition of Kenny Ortega's name to this lawsuit, just another EMBARRASSING money grab on the part of "certain" members of the Jackson family.

I PRAY that the court drops his name from this lawsuit with a quickness!

And to think, "somebody" had the NERVE to complain about the number of lawsuits the Estate of Michael Jackson has filing. If it weren't so sad, it would be laughable!

I agree... If Katherine is trying to place blame on Kenny she also should be placing blame on herself. She should've known since she is his mother. She saw Mike a week before he died, why didn't she know her son was sick, ill and couldn't sleep?

Sometimes ppl do not see what they can't allow themselves to really 'see' because it would destroy them or their jobs, or their marriage, or their families... it makes them hold on to something while their heart yells at them not to.

Does that make them responsible?

I think it often doesn't in a human court.

To me it makes them responsible if they had a true chance to do something to save someone (or sometimes even themselves) and they haven't done it.

However I can't really judge that from this difference and I better will not... but I know Katherine Jackson can and also Kenny Ortega can if their hearts are still alive... so whatever they feel when they look into a mirror thinking of Michael that is the better judgement in this than mine would with the knowledge I have.

I feel we'll all be measured by the measurements we've put out... and I hope, especially when I read here, everybody who posted here does everything for their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and friends out there needing their help... cuz probably that's the last lesson Michael gave us... save them, if you can.

I notice that the MEDIA is not really paying attention to this lawsuit.

I'm sure Katherine Jackson was hoping for some media attention to boost her claims against AEG, but for whatever reason, the media is ignoring her. I'm so glad!

I truly believe AEG played a role in the death of Michael Jackson, an "Evil role" that has yet to be revealed.

In my opinion, if their was SOMETHING lurking out there that needed to be revealed, it would have been revealed already.

Not if the dime they get - the most dime - comes from those who 'authorize' the said secret all along.

AEG were far from guiltless, and I'm making this assertion based on Randy Philips' own words, their actions following the March 9 press conference. And will stop right now, for I've grown sick and tired, personally, of overexplaining just how blatant their strange actions were.

I don't know why Katherine blames Kenny Ortega for Michael's death but she allowed him and Travis Payne to take Paris to watch Cats on her birthday. If I blamed someone for my son's death, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my family.

Now I cannot speak for Katherine..because I do not know her mind...however...I believe that she implicates Kenny in this lawsuit with AEG because....kenny may have told Michael to go home that one day...(his own admission)....but...as we have all heard and read that Michael was having a problem making rehearsals alot of the time..so much that Randy Phillips took it upon himself to be Michael's chauffeur. But anycase,.....Kenny could of stopped these shows....he could of put the shows on hold.....but he didn't..he like the rest of them was only worried about his pocket. If they would of put those shows on hold OR canceled altogether....Michael may still be here. Sometimes we have to look at the BIGGER picture in things....sometimes things are bigger than what we only find at the tips of our nose. This is my 2 cents worth.

Aside from the fact that if Michael was approached about "anything" and his response was: "Mind your business, I'm fine, and I know what I'm doing!" (And I can totally hear him saying that.)

Now I cannot speak for Katherine..because I do not know her mind...however...I believe that she implicates Kenny in this lawsuit with AEG because....kenny may have told Michael to go home that one day...(his own admission)....but...as we have all heard and read that Michael was having a problem making rehearsals alot of the time..so much that Randy Phillips took it upon himself to be Michael's chauffeur. I agree thunder..IMO there was a lot of people thinking about the short term financial advantages which led to a more reckless way of handling things..

He may not have had direct authority to stop the shows or postpone them, but if he was passionate enough about Michael not being 100% for these shows, you never know what would happen. Now in no way am I blaming Kenny for anything and this is all in retrospect but like I said I just think more people were worried about Short term financial advantages than the big picture..Just my opinion..

I wouldn't be surprised if the tickets to the basketball game, Prince and Jackie went to the other day, came from somebody over at AEG.

I mean, those were FRONT ROW tickets. Tickets like that are hard to come by and would "most likely" come from somebody who has some clout. A LOT OF CLOUT! You just can't go up to the box office and ask for TWO FRONT ROW seats. LOL!

Oh I remember that clearly. I believe they were with one or more 3T members.

As a matter of fact, they were up in a "Sky Box," that time around. Another PERK that is not easy to come by. You definitely have to know somebody on the inside to score a visit to a "Sky Box."

you are correct....maybe it wans't money that motivated Kenny...maybe it was delivering the BIGGEST concert series EVER to take place...what is bigger than MJ...sold out 50 hows at the o2?? This is just my opinion...doesn't make it factual...like I said I dont know Katherine's mind....in the end it could be for her own pocket....could be she wants SOMEONE other than Murray to have to answer for Michael's death. I dont know with them anymore...:no:

I also think that Kenny's mention is solely based on his presence on the "riot act" as Katherine calls it or the meeting about Michael's health that Kenny mentioned during his testimony.

However going with Kenny's testimony saying that he sent Michael home as he wasn't good - that's actually looking out for MJ's health.

And it's said that he's an independent contractor and has nothing to do with AEG - MJ contract. So I don't think he was in a position to cancel the shows.

Thunder I'm sure Kenny was just ecstatic as Michael was to put on this show, the biggest comeback/concert series in history would have still been Michael's and not Kenny's,. The concert series were crucial for Michael and not Kenny, it was Michael who thanks to the jealous evil media and slandering had to prove himself again (at least to the mainstream public), it wasn't Kenny who had to prove anything. These concerts were more importan to Michael's career than Kenny's, let's be honest here, Michael snatched Kenny right after he celebrated huge success after the HSM (still don't know how it was so successful but well whatever). Kenny was standing on solid ground. Had these concerts happened, Michael's name would have been all over the news not Kenny's. (at least not to the extent).
As for Katherine's mind she's in this for the sole purpose of money, anyone claiming the opposite is lying thru their teeth.

Yeah, that's very true. Again like you said before the JAckson's haven't been front row or in a sky box ever since, I think it's fair to say, since a couple of years if not decades (and not I'm not counting Dunk).

Where does Mrs Jackson get the idea that the riot act was read to Michael at that meeting? Kenny was there Murray was Frank was there Randy Phillips was there and Michael was there. We know Michael didn't tell his family about being read the riot act we know Frank didn't we know Murray did not and we know Randy did not. So where does she get the idea that Michael was read the riot act?

Once again, I am gonna repeat...you want to blame people for MJ being sick or whatever...but remember MJ was 5-0..not 0-5.

It was MJ's prerogative to keep his personal biz=>PERSONAL. He did not have to share with anyone what Murray was doing.

And Kenny & company can only go with what MJ told them. If he said he was fine..what business was it of his to claim otherwise?

You want to blame all these people for not intervening when the blame lay with Murray. It was MJ's decision to have Murray in his home...it was also MJ's decision to continue having Murray there after what happened the Sunday before.

If Katherine wants to blame others, then she should also include herself, her husband and good for nothing other children for putting pressure on MJ for years and years. MJ's sleeping problem did not start during rehearsal...it's been going on for years since he was little. So, as far as I am concerned, if his mom wants to throw blame around...she should look in the mirror and her vicinity...

It was MJ's decision to have Murray in his home...it was also MJ's decision to continue having Murray there after what happened the Sunday before.

It wasn't Jackson's decision to die, and If he hired Murray, that was his responsibility as a doctor to take care of him. You weren't there in that room to be saying whose decision it was for sure. And Jackson isn't here to be commenting on this, and Murray is the one who's on trial for his blatant disconcern of human life. That still doesn't make AEG guiltless, even though there are many supporters of them, they still were the ones who hurried to sell tickets and set the date as July 8, knowing how nobody would have the time to finish rehearsals by that time, which they weren't, hence the postponement of 2 concerts only. Then general mayhem began. ... And certainly one wouldn't want to remember that again. ......

MJ Producer Dropped From Wrongful Death Suit


Michael Jackson's producer of the "This Is It" tour just got a break in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Katherine Jackson -- he's been dropped as a defendant ... TMZ has learned.


Kenny Ortega was sued by Katherine, who claimed he was part of AEG's alleged plan to give Michael anything he needed in order for him to perform.

Katherine's lawyer, Kevin Boyle, tells TMZ, "Based on recently discovered information, the Jackson family has determined that Mr. Ortega should not be a defendant," adding, "The Jackson Family apologizes for any discomfort or inconvenience this may have caused Mr. Ortega."

It's always a discomfort to be sued for wrongful death.
