MJJC MEET UP

LONDON

2nd APRIL 2011

DAYTIME: LONDON EYE

EVENING: THE O2

It's time for our next UK meet up and this time we want to take it to the next level - quite litrally!

1pm
We will meet from 1PM at the Slug and Lettuce County Hall, which is situated right by the London Eye - here is the link: http://www.slugandlettuce.co.uk/county_hall/

2pm
We will head over to the London Eye, get our tickets and go on to the attraction.
Tickets for aduts are around about £20 - however there is an off on here where you can claim a 2 for 1 offer if you travel to London by train!! Heres the link to the offer: http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/london-eye

The Slug and Lettuce County Hall and London Eye are all right by Waterloo tube station and are very easy to get to!

In the evening we will be heading over to the O2 for a meal (which is still to be organised - more info v.soon) and drinks in the evening. We have a few MJJC Birthdays to celebrate so its sure to be a good night as we head around the bars for drinks!

Just a general meet up. In the evening we'll be having drinks at the 02-just a general chance to catch up, have a laugh, dance, and talk about Michael. What's happening in the day is still in progress lol!

Less than 3 weeks to go!

This is just the best way to meet new friends and talk to other fans, and we always go away with the best memories!

I can't wait to meet some more of you, my MJJC family :)

Oooh I should add that the queue for the Eye can get very long so if the weather's a bit iffy prepare to wrap up warm! ;)
 
If you're coming by train there is a 2 4 1 offer which gets you in half price so it works out just under £10.
 
Im going to the unveiling of the statue on the sunday - would be good to meet up with people who will be there - maybe so we can fight off the footy fans together :p

Soz wont be going to the saturday thing - cant afford to go to both days or stay over and would much prefer to go to statue as its more MJ related

I think we might be going there on sunday due to public demand! I've had many messages, so will let you know :)
I think its down to the individual! There are a lot of mixed feelings about it.

Yeah sorry guys that we can't attend both days :( oh the joys of independent living woop woop(!) lol but seriously we have one of those bills that HAS to be cleared by the beginning of April (those of you who pay Council Tax will probably know what I'm referring to ;) ) so we can't afford both days/staying over at this time, and as much as we love seeing you guys, we can't bring ourselves miss the unveiling.

If any of you do decide to come to the statue then we'll see you there, Motsey has created a separate thread on this here: http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=112505 to save confusion and so no info/updates get lost/missed.

I hope you guys have a good day and enjoy the eye etc :)
 
That's a real shame Tom :( I know it is so expensive though. Maybe next time we can book in advance and save some dough?

Yeah, should have done that this time really, my own fault for spending money I don't have :( Ah well, going to check the trains to see what time I have to go :)
 
Only just over a week to go guys, I'm very excited. Please as many as you guys can come please do. Its an amazing way to meet new people! Cant wait to see old and new faces!!!!
