Murray Trial - 5 October - Day 7 - Discussion

some bottles were prescribed to him in 2008 and he still had them, so there's no way he was popping pills just for the heck of it.
I had to take some of the meds MJ took as well, and if u'd see my nightstand it's full of it, but just like with michael some of the stuff was prescribed to me months/years ago

Exactly. I don't think that would be uncommon with a lot of people.

For some reason it seems as if people want to take this recording played today as evidence that Michael is self-medicating. I don't think that is it at all. I think this was Michael dealing with what Murray was giving him.

Schmuley needs to shut his damn mouth, for a man who hadn't been in touch with Michael for nearly a decade he surely has a lot to say about how Michael was and what he was doing. SMDH @ all the folks. Seriously like this trial isn't exhausting enough, that we have to deal with IGNORANT ASSHOLES too.
Same goes for this J5 dude who hadn't seen/been in touch with Michael for nearly 4 decades!

Anyone symathizing with Murray would deserve to have an incompetent arrogant asshole doc as him, if not Murray himself. With these ignorant people it's always the same blame the victim, like the victim didn't pay the ULTIMATE PRICE for hiring and trusting an incompetent ass like Conrad Robert Murray?! Who are they to even talk for God's sake?!

As in life, people just want Michael to be what they want him to be--whether that is good or bad.

The point of this trial is that Michael is the victim. That should be all that matters.

I have watched almost every MINUTE of court testimony, and I no longer think the defense has any case, at all. it's become a travesty of a court-case, actually. It's a waste of taxpayer's money in California, and an unwanted opportunity for media talking heads to TRASH Michael, regardless of the testimony in court.

Something very EVIL was going on with Murray. Very, very. . EVIL.

I am confused about all this. I did not have time to follow the live stream for Murray's trial today. Was it a good day for the prosecution?

Really I can't picture the MJ I knew living like that.

Medicin all over the place, the room was a mess really. - I hope he never led the children in there.

Not the luxus and glory I imagined as the bedroom for the King of Pop.

Wasn't that the room CM slept in? He was the one who made that mess, most of it at least. :ermm:

It's probable that Michael wasn't even aware what Murray was pumping into him, IMO I would say he didn't. I honestly don't believe Michael would agree to anything that would harm him. Once Michael was sedated, he wouldn't have a clue what was being pumped into him. All those hidden meds (not to mention the ones they found on the 25th.....'just for one night!', To put it mildly this makes Murray look like a homicidal maniac.

This coverage is driving me CRAZY!! No one is talking about this recording being WHILE CM was putting MJ under !! I'll bet this is a recording of the countdown!! Bless MJ's beautiful soul...what lovely thoughts to sleep by.

mez is relevent..talking head media whores arent.
I know that already thx! The point is that today's Audio is being twisted in the media more as a bad move by the Pros. And If I want to say how messed up and wrong that is, I will. I'm not gonna pretend that people like Oxman aren't influencing some by calling Mj an addict. I think it's fine to talk about all that's being said to counter it, Period.

Twisted by the media? They have been doing that since they first heard the tape.

How is it a bad move by the prosecution? It shows Murray right there 'recording' his patient who he is putting under. It shows that he knew MJ was in a drugged state yet he continued to purchase and induce propofol to him instead of getting him help.. That is a plus for the prosecution because it shows Murray's negligence and how he was only out for himself

And more so by inviting people that supose to represent the family and agreeing with them, so yea in some way what do we expect? But, it's still wrong and should be adreesed but, fine if no one wants too. I get it. I was just letting people know! Nevermind though....

My friend said to me today why Murray can't just admit what he did and save everyone the pain and time of this. But that won't happen.

I can't really understand why the DA did not charge him with second degree murder , why?

Wrote a really long rant on this (not to you but in response to that question in general). That question set me off today but I think Imma save it for my blog cuz it might get me banned on here for being disrespectful.

I'll just say this here... The Prosecution had a lot of obstacles in the public; too much interference, not enuf support from the ppl who mattered and could have made their job much easier by garnering COMPASSION for Michael instead of throwing him under the bus or hawking books and theories about ppl they couldn't really talk about. That's the short answer to my long rant. The public waters were poisoned.

Exhibit A: The dude on HLN talking smack about Murray being railroaded. People like that...the Brian Oxmans, etc....THEY are why Murray did not get Murder 2. If the Prosecution can get 12 ppl to not feel bad for giving Murray 4 years it will be worth the effort IMO. Too many ppl threw Michael under the bus from the day his heart stopped beating. Some thought they had good intentions...but there's a saying about the road to Hell being paved with good intentions.

walgren doesnt want his career ruined by being the D.A that lost the mj case. so he takes the charge most likely to get a conviction.

anyway goodnight everyone.cu all tomorrow x

wonder what the sidebar was over? the subpeona to chernoff for the medical records?

@ the bolded part. That's most likely a factor, too.

Don't care how many times we put this in context all ppl see is a table full of medication and all they hear is that Michael was prescribed all of it. The details of when it was prescribed, how many pills were issued and how many were left gets lost in the sight of all the bottles. If only the ppl with the access to airtime and a wide audience would correct stuff like this, it would be less confusing. Unfortunately, if it's not about a dollar some ppl can't be arsed to speak or tweet about facts in SUPPORT of Michael.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything that you are saying here. To charge a doctor like this is daring in the first place. People don't want to think of doctors as doing anything less than what is best for their patients. That is a hurdle and then all the other crap that has been spewed added to that hurdle.

So far the prosecution has seemed to be good at answering each of the defense's claims. So, I have a feeling that the same may go for the whole drug addict concern. They are very much aware of what is being said about this or that, I would think. I'm also sure they are anticipating the possible defense of Michael the addict did this to himself. They have to counter that some way. Their presentation of evidence is not over and just very well may include the physical proof that Michael was not getting strung out himself. Let the people see the medication and then start showing what came straight from Murray and what Michael left alone. Then, we also still have the medical reports from the coroners. And people need to remember that there was no evidence of doctor shopping or else I think that some other doctors would have been charged. There was none of that. Remember that there wasn't things in his system except from Murray. I think that any concern expressed by his manager was from that episode that Ortega described; that coupled with "rumors" probably got everyone scared. While that can be understandable, it doesn't make it true.

What I hate is that Michael always had to deal with people believing something about him despite his words--and here we go again with this. I still prefer to listen to Michael's words.

This case isnt bout what the media think - ITS ABOUT WHAT THE JURY THINK!

Amen to all that Wendy and Classic said....and especially this ^

The amount of medication bottles may be shocking to some but people need to put it in context. Like Elusive Moonwalker, TwinkLee and others mentioned, many of the bottles were old or untouched. People must remember that Michael had lupus. If you are familar with this disease, the medicines he was prescribed was not out of the ordinary. Murray seemed to be stockpiling the Propofol. What I can't understand is how he expected to get such a large quantity of medication pass Customs Agents. If he wasn't licensed to practice in London, could he transport such a large volume of meds with no medicinal purpose overseas?

Hardest day by far it seems...I just got in and read it all...Good day for Pros too.

One thing I noticed that wasn't sure if anyone else mentioned. But did you all see the huge picture of that kid on the chair when they showed part of the room mj was in?...I thought that was beautiful and spoke volumes of the man.

Also, I believe he really wasn't reading that audio ..For many reasons. One being the ' Go..go'..That is something only a spontaneous mj would say

The part where he says, "Go, Go" doesn't seem to fit but he wasn't himself with all those meds in his systom an glad he was thinking off the children. But then agin, it coul have possibly scripted. Murray knew that would have be hear on national TV, then again, why would he tape him? That is so puzzling to me. If he knew it woul be hear, the that is pre-meditation...this is so difiicult to figure out. Why is Frank not here and where is Thome? Too many unanswered questions

Michael Jackson was murdered. It was a corporate hit job.
Michael has returned to his legend of God's Army of Angels.

Now, is a good time to listen to his song:

I would like to ask a question?
did the prosecution needed to get consent from the family before releasing the tape?

Murray might very well have a heart attack at any moment now LOL

Should we call 911 or do a one had CPR while he's sitting in his chair? As we all know, Flanagan is def alcohol imparied and Cheroff has said himself, he has stomach ploblems and Murrary's treating him.....Will the defense make it through the next 3 1/2 weeks without uneventful fmoment? We shall see.
