Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor"

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

So they showed it? Damn!
TV networks = 1, MJ Fans = 0.

Phase 2 must now be to consider if the broadcast breeches any regulations and then contact the Australian TV regulator, ACMA, with complaints. They will take complaints (particularly if there are a high number of them) VERY seriously and can take action against the network.

http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_90078

"The ACMA monitors matters relating to some standards and licence conditions and investigates complaints about them from the public. The ACMA also acts as an independent adjudicator where complaints about matters relating to codes of practice, including the ABC and SBS codes of practice, are not resolved between the complainant and the broadcaster concerned. Where ACMA finds a breach of a code of practice, licence condition or standard, the ACMA may take enforcement action to ensure future compliance. "

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

Can you give us a summary, in terms of all the negative stuff Murray and his lawyers had to say about Michael?

Yes it would be better someone to watch and tell us all just to know the depth of the damage done

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Channel 9 should be proud, what a classy example of journalism.

I loved.....I've never had any real friends doctor Conrad, until you, you are my real friend...(so heartfelt, so full of sh*t)

The way he said mj wet the bed and he had to get it cleaned because mj wouldn't....they asked "was that the drugs" and he said "no, i mean what kind of grown man still wets the bed" or something like that....but he only used that bed when murray was there, murray himself said mj had his own area and that this was the room he saw him in. So clearly when he was under propofol influence there will be spillage from the cathater when it is changed.

The way he almost mocked the way mj begged him. Please please in high voice.

The best was that after all this he has re evaluated his friendship with mj, and said "i don't think michael intentionally meant to hurt me" WTF??????? Poor Conrad Murray..

And the sobbing (minus actual tears) at the end....i cant go on.....gets up and walks away, and cry's into the wall, but manages not to get out of the view of the camera, doesnt go left, doesnt go right, walks directly back so we could get a good look at how devestated he is....Poor Conrad Murray...

can i get a big "AWWWWWWWW"

he showed his temper too.

I wanted to kick the tv at first, but by the end of it i was glad i watched. He proved himself to be all about Conrad Murray, Walgren had it spot on, and the insincerity and narcissism shone through. He made himself look worse. You would have to have the IQ of a vegetable to believe this cr*p.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

^ Yeah, I'd like to know now in order to brace myself for the media circus that is about to follow...:(

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Didn't really care for it or about it to be honest.

What about you?

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

^ OMG that sounds so surreal and fucked up. I can't express my anger towards Murray right now, and I thought I possibly couldn't get madder. What a despicable low-life.

This is all we'll be hearing next week in the media, the non-stop pissing on Michael's grave.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

That is so fucking fucked up. Murray deserves to be struck down. I hope he gets the maximum sentence, with no house arrest. Even that is not enough for this miserable lowlife.

ETA: He had the fucking gall to say Michael didn't meant to hurt him? For fucksake, he killed Michael. He's the one who should be praying everynight asking for forgiveness. Self-serving prick.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

he didn't come across as a likeable man. He was full of it, talking himself up, but he did have a sh*t attack about flanagan not being on the ball. He seemed angry and with thought only for himself, he chose to say a prayer when the camera was 2 inches from his nostrils, he swore a lot, he tried to throw mj under the bus but i think it showed his true character.

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

Michael, I am so sorry this is still happening to you. My heart is bleeding. I can't understand why the world is treating you this way. I am so so sorry.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

I watched it, minus the starting minutes. It could have been worse.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

The more I hear him speak, the more I am convinced he's a complete tool. "I'm sure Michael didn't intentionally mean to hurt me..." Yeah, because Michael is going to abandon his friends and family by self-injecting propofol just to spite you. Pooooooooooooooooooooooooor Conrad Murray, everyone is always against you, aren't they? Kawaii so ni...

He plays the victim very well, but eventually reality will strip away any delusions of innocence he may have.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Is Rebbie really in the documentary?

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Glad i didnt watch it and by the way u guys have described this it didnt sound good. Wtf is murray on bout with ""i don't think michael intentionally meant to hurt me" IS HE FOR REAL!!!!? michael is the one that is dead in a coffin & he 's trying to make it seem like mj was trying to hurt him!!!!????? OH MY GOD HE IS SO ARROGANT!!!!!!!!

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

URGENT CALL FOR ACTION!

We now know that proceeds from this documentary were used to fund the defence of a convicted killer (whatever NBC says that IS a financial as well as legal gain for Murray). Channel 4 in the UK has scheduled this show for tonight at 10pm and says they had an agreement for the money they paid not to go to Murray.
Well, that is clearly irrelevant. Any money paid by any network went to the film makers who in turn paid Murray. The film makers knew somebody would pay for it and so that is why this show was produced. If no network would buy it then it wouldn't have been made. It is an immoral act to support this kind of programme. Channel 4 are supporting a convicted killer and allowing him to spread lies and innuendo about his victim without any proof.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

I will be honest - I am tremendously disappointed fans watched the program. By giving Channel 9 the ratings they were desperately after, they now have more encouragement to broadcast material disrespecting Michael in future.

I spent 18 hours with very little sleep attempting to contact Channel 9 through a variety of mediums, and encouraging fans worldwide to do the same. Even if we had little hope of having the program removed (and even following the Estate later to US television executives), we had to have our voices heard. Naturally, it was going to be an uphill battle with a commercial television network concerned exclusively with advertising revenue. However, I am glad I did my very best to get it stopped. I am also in the process of making a complaint to ACMA (I encourage other fans to do so) and am writing to network executives. Regardless of whether this program shows Murray for what he really is, the fact of the matter is that the program condones the undermining of a unanimous verdict made by a jury and sympathises with a convicted felon. Watching it means supporting it, and for me this entire situation is hurtful and devastating enough as it is without fans being a part of this mess.

(Thankyou for listening.)

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

So is this the same documentary that they will be showing in the UK etc?

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

I certainly don't want to be mean and I know that only AC Neilsen households equal ratings but why are we spending so much time trying to stop this program if people are going to watch it anyway? This tacky, classless company KNEW people wouldn't stay away from this filth and that's why it was produced. If this thing gets high ratings it will continue to be shown. MSNBC will do Living With MJ and MJ and the doc double features every ratings period SIGH

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

I have just replied to the email Channel 4 sent out yesterday. Will let you know if I hear back. Twitter @4viewers

I think it was very clever of Channel 4 to suddenly announce that this is tonight, before they were saying it was 'sometime next week' SMH Unfortunately it does not give us time to go after their sponsors.

roomdownstairs, I acknowledge your efforts and am sure that many others around the world do also.

@roomdownstairs- The thing is think alot fans watched it to try and get some truth out of this whole mess (well that is if murray did tell any truth) and hoped it would bring closer

@mashille- yes it the same one

The idea was to STOP it being shown in the first place!
If people say "what's the point" and do nothing then, then they will be free to show whatever they want, BUT we have been successful in stopping shos before and it IS possible that we could do it again this time (except for Australia where they ignored us LOL).

Even if you don't live in the USA or UK, STILL EMAIL ANYWAY!

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

I usually despise HLN, but last night I happened to tune in, and "Vinnie Pollitan" (sp?) was YELLING with outrage over this documentary. The abuse of Michael is SO obvious, that even the usual talking-head-haters are shocked?

I saw that and was hoping someone would post the video here. Vinnie was on fire and furious over Murray's documentary and those two women attorney's who were actually defending Murray saying he has children to support (LOL that deadbeat never cared about supporting his kids before) and Lisa Bloom arguing semantics saying Murray wasn't a "Killer" as Vinnie described him. Somebody post that video, it was good. I couldn't find it.

I feel so dejected. Someone on my Facebook page told me to "move on" when I guess I posted one too many things about MJ on my page. She also said MJ got too "weird". Well, that idiot has been unfriended. I don't have tolerance for hateful people.

Re: Michael Jackson & the Doctor - Australia Channel 9

Personally speaking, tonight was the first time I have heard CMs voice let alone his side of the story.

I think those of us who watched it did so for many reasons, some may be personal, others may be just because it just had something to do with MJ. Either way, I am confident that no harm was meant or to purposely undo any of the great work that is being done out there on behalf of us all.

@mashille- yes it the same one

I think one person could have watched it with the intention of transcribing it or something similar, to avoid fans watching en masse for that reason. Infact, that would probably have been useful from a global perspective because then fans across the world can tune out should it air in US/UK, and totally defeat the hopes of every network airing it. Channel 9 will look at the ratings and think they made a good decision in broadcasting such reprehensible content. If this is seen as socially acceptable as "entertainment" (which they will gauge via ratings), what next?

Re: MSNBC to air Murray Documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor" / Estate letter @pg18

Murray is a poor excuse for a human being. You kill a man and then go out of your way to degrade and humiliate him. There's a hot place waiting for him when karma comes around.
