Just checked my e-mail and saw the alert from the Michaeljackson website. Finally the concert is here.

Super excited.

The vip line up before the wembley concert. You can see dileo and branca, as well as mj, and the HRH's.

I think that they use this vhs of the concert is to make the whole package more special. one cd of demos and copy from private concert recording. we insisted to be wembley concert and Princess Diana has attended, so it makes this date very special. Michael was problably in top notch, full of energy and power.

I still don't give up the belive that there will be blu-ray of Bad tour someday. Just not part as the 25th anniversary.
Cause if the dvd won't be released separately later, puting blu-ray as part of this package would be lost of buyer and a waste. not everyone would by this deluxe boxed.

Yes, it makes sense. I still have hopes for the blu ray too, someday :)

I was wondering that too. I remember a short audio snippet of TWYMMF was posted and it was said to be from the 16 July. Does anyone know?

I doubt that only one copy exists and on VHS. Maybe the Estate has only that copy but I think that there are many, if not all, concerts professionally filmed, like Rome and LA.

I hope they invest some money in the restoration of the VHS so the picture on DVD can be better than Yokohama DVD. I would paid twice if the picture is like on the Bucharest DVD.

I may be wrong, but i think the DVD will be released separately. So maybe they're holding the Blu-Ray so people go and buy the DELUXE EDITION.

IF the source is really from a VHS tape, it's not usefull to release it on BluRay becuase the quality is not good enough for BluRay.....

But there was not the info about the set list but the date, but there were 7 Wembley gigs, so its doesnt mean that DD or TWYMMF or anything else will be excluded..., maybe some performances from the other dates could be as a bonus...

Well, it'll be ONE complete concert, not a montage....So whatever he played on July 16, 1988 is what we're getting...right?

I really love this release...all the goodies we're getting is great. I think the deluxe case looks quite nice...The tour jacket looks amazing.
But am I the only one that thinks the album cover looks really naff? All of the design is a lil incoherent and it doesn't have that "BAD" street/aggressive feel to it anymore. The strong black condensed text was a big factor in the original design they haven't used that anywhere. Only on the cover, and they've made it light grey! Plus the "Bad25" logo looks more like marker, like cartoon writing (especially with that crown) rather than spray paint. Doesn't have that edgy look anymore.
Am I the only one?? lol :ermm:

Yeah Off The Wall was only in the 87 shows before the major set list change.

I know the source is a VHS tape. But, does it have to be in 4:3 ratio? In the press release, it said the film is played on the big screen during concert. Is there a chance that the ratio is actually 16:9? I really don't like black bars on my wide screen TV.

^^if you have watched old concerts, you'll have notice that the junboscreens were 4:3. and recorded in 4:3. only if it was for theatrical release in 16:9.
widescreens became " standart" last 5 years.

I know, I had a little sinking feeling thinking about that...The black bars are not good....I have a 46" LED screen...

If the source is 4x3 & they keep it, you will see black bars ;) I really don;t hope they will ruin the 4x3 image by cutting the bottom & above space of the image....

I have a 46" HD TV too... Watching 4:3 ratio program with wide screen TV is quite bad...

Anyway, I'll take what I get.

Hopefully, the footage in film (16:9) will surface in the near future.
