'On 25th June 2009, the world had stunned by the sudden death of the legendary singer, Michael Jackson. Although two years passed, the memories and the influence of Michael Jackson have remained strongly in the hearts of his millions of fans across the globe.

On 25th June 2011, the activities to commemorate the second anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death were held around the world. On the same day, in the Khang Thong Group’s office, the Michael Jackson’s 2nd memorial service was held cosily with the participation of Khang Thong Group’s staff and other invited guests.

Joe Jackson, Father of Michael Jackson, is a major partner of Khang Thong Group. He is an independent investor involved in the five-star Happyland hotel project, located in Happyland Entertainment Complex, in Ben Luc District, Long An Province by the owner of Khang Thong Group

Although his life had ups and downs, Michael Jackson has always been one of the artists contributing positively to charity. Michael Jackson built Never Ranch as a dream world of every childhood. This is what the Happyland project of Khang Thong Group is heading.

In the Memorial Service, Khang Thong Group’s staff reminisced the memorable pictures in the legendary signer’s life and career. The favourite songs such as "We are the world", "Earth Song”, "Dangerous" were sung by Michael Jackson. His amazing moonwalk dance and tune have become immortal.'

MJ’s dad, Joe Jacksons, withdraws from $2bn project in Vietnam (entertainment complex in Vietnam)
so, he DID NOT make this deal, he was unsuccessful to create a enterteinment park, to be part of such an successful project.

MY question was: and how much Michael Jackson failed with the parks he wanted to create?

Joseph has a history of entering bad business deals and making bad investments therefor no one here is surprised at him withdrawing from this as stuff like this has happened many times before.

Michael on the other hand were a succesful business man who made mostly very wise investments, so if he made a few bad investments like these parks you keep bringing up then so be it. We all make bad choices sometimes, but Michael never needed other people's money or help to bail him out, he took care of his own business himself. Joseph on the other hand doesn't, he's always gone to Michael for money so there lies the difference - Michael paid for his mistakes himself, Joseph doesn't, he lets his son do it.
 
Report: Michael Jackson’s Mother Katherine Jackson Divorcing Joe Jackson

Katherine Jackson has put up with her husband, Joe Jackson, and his womanizing for decades. Katherine always put her children first and was therefore willing to live a sad and lonely life while Joe was living large with cheap tarts and loose showgirls. Despite his mom’s self-sacrifice and her noble attempts to hide the ugly truth from her kids, Michael Jackson was well aware of his dad’s shameful conduct and had totally disowned the old lecher well before his tragic death. So not only is jerky Joe unapologetically cheating on Michael’s mom, but he is fooling around with the wife of his late son’s buddy. How low can you go?

A source tells GLOBE exclusively: “This is absolutely outrageous. Joseph cheats on Michael’s dear mother and then steals the wife of one of his closest friends? Can Joe tarnish Michael’s reputation any more than he has! It’s absolutely disgusting!”

Although Joe has denied that he is sleeping with Lavinia sources say their “relationship is red-hot” and the two spend weeks each month shacking up together in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

There are financial considerations that are fueling Katherine’s urgency to divorce the scoundrel. Katherine fears that since she is co-guardian of Michael’s children, Paris Jackson and her brothers, Blanket and Prince, then if she predeceases greedy Joe he will try to grab money that rightfully should go the grandkids. Since several of Michael’s siblings have tried (and failed) to steal from their more successful brother’s fortune, Katherine knows full well the malfeasance of which family is capable.

GLOBE goes into detail about the nasty goings on between Joe and Lavinia and the consequent struggle and shame this imposes on Katherine. You’ve got to hand it to GLOBE – they delve into the meatiest stories out there and through intrepid investigation bring out facts that nobody else is able to access.

The Globe is pitiful. They make up the most ridiculas tabloid stories.They use to be brutal with Michael. I cant stand that RAG .. bleck. They fact they write Kat wants a divorece becuase she is worried Joe can get his hands on the childrens money is laughable. Their crappy writers make it up as they go along. I have enough truth about Joe to have reasons to dislike him. I could care less about this silliness. He can see who he wants and I dont give a ... one way or another.

I did read where this Magnificent fellow received a fee from an interview that Joe did.

This may be why there were photos of Majestik's wife (Lavina Iskandar) and Majestik's boss (Joe Jackson).

Yes you are right Majesctic has worked for Michael as his majician at neverland and with joe over the years. It's known He is close the the Jackson family. So to see Joe in pics with his wife/girlfriend isnt all that concerning. Most likley at events that Majestic himsel was at. Im still not going to put much faith in these stories especially knowing the blatant lies that come from these tabloid sources. I guess time will tell. There could be some truth hidden between the lines but - THEY LIE SO MUCH so who knows ?

The thing with the Video I posted (that you removed) was just showing Joe and Majestic back around 2002 as working together. Louis Theroux thought he was the next Martin Bashir!

Yes of course AliCat :) I understand your reason for posting the video. But Your very last sentence above bringing "Louis Theroux thought he was the next Martin Bashir!" in as a point in this discussion was the very reason for removing it so this thread doesn't go there and stays on topic. That interview is a very interesting topic in itself. So IMO that would be the direction this thread would go. but in my comment I was trying to help back up the point you wanted to make. That Joe and majestic did have past business relationships. In the future please dont call out any staffs moderation of your posts even indirectly as a above. If you have any questions or want to discuss it further please PM me. I dont bite

I couldn't quite put my finger on why you removed the video, I just wondered why you ruined the point by taking away the Video? My bad!!! Also if anyone wants to check it out.

It was funny that Joe cut short the Interview since there were too many topics to transcribe into a virtual point and no I don't think you bite...lol.

LOL! Michael’s “failures” which were few were made with money HE alone earned and not from money borrowed and never paid back from members of his ever needy family. Joe being one of the neediest members of all whose hand was constantly outstretched for a bailout from his son.

A Glimpse of Paradise by Joe Jackson

Mr. Jackson has journeyed back to his Roots to express his most precious moment in Life through art. His son Michael Jackson was a skilled painter, a craft his mother Katherine Jackson recently speculated must have been inherited from his father. Katherine Jackson went on to re-iterate on the Piers Morgan show, how wonderful Mr. Jackson used to paint in his younger days.

Upon careful reflection and much emotion, Mr. Jackson picked up the brushes once again and with the help of a fellow artist was able to complete the following painting dedicated to his sons. The picture expresses his happiest and greatest achievement in life. The pinnacle of all he could achieve: Together with my Sons we stood tall. The sun high above represents warmth, hope and boundless aspirations. The sea, the 7 seas of the world, carrying their message of song and dance to all corners of the earth across. The sand, always reminded us to stay grounded.

The Series “A Glimpse of Paradise” consists of a limited set of 7 originals representing Mr. Jackson and his six sons. Each of these paintings is signed by Mr. Jackson personally. He intends to have them displayed in Museums across the world. Only 7 will ever be made.

despite anything anybody may be thinking...and...justifiably so...one thing is certain...This family has proven that anyone can be successful, and there are no barriers, except the ones we put there, ourselves, if we do. and when they're(The Jackson family) all gone...perhaps it will be easier for everyone to say that. i'd like to say that, now, and i am happy to know that i lived to see this professional history made.

The painting is very good but I'd have thought that to have 'paradise' you'd also include a wife and your other three children.

Actually it's a good painting. I'm a bit surprised because I can't picture Joe sit there and paint and especially to have talent for this. LOL. But then maybe I shouldn't be surprised: Michael could draw very well, too, he had to inherit that from someone.

I don't think his daughters gave him that much money like his sons to be included in his "paradise".

It is a good painting but the text says "Commissioned Painting"
"and with the help of a fellow artist was able to complete the following painting dedicated to his sons"

So how much of that painting is Joe's work, the part he signed his name? :D

Katherine didn't mention Joe's painting abilities in her CNN interview, but I've read Michael inherited his skill from her, rather. She spent a lot of her childhood in hospital and took to drawing during those periods.

I wonder how Joseph, who mumbles and is unsteady in his speech and movements given his age, can hold a brush and paint smooth strokes on a canvas. The signature, 'help of a fellow artist' and that they plan to sell 5 of these tell me all I need to know about the true motive behind it and amount of work Joe truly did.

You know I don't mean to laugh at ole Joe, oh nevermind, yes I do. LOL!

He really thinks very highly of himself. I mean, dang near everything he TRIES to do ends in the tag line - ....across the world.

Like folks "Across The World" are interested in anything Joseph Jackson has to offer.

Note To Joe: Folks are not interested in you and your million, going nowhere, projects.

I'd rather prefer the original picture because I don't believe he painted it, Michael never mentioned his alleged skill to paint, neither Katherine, so, I'm pretty skeptical...
