it is from those sessions, just look at the colors used! i believe it's a raw photo from the original sessions (unedited) i love the way it's done.. absolutely fantastic.

picture on the right looks more natural, just look at the skin base.. and the tone..

its because the left one is shot off screen from tv and the right one is the actual graphic in real resolution

I am a little sad that not a single danish newspaper writes about the new release on their websites!!

I have just emailed them to tell them that a BRAND NEW MJ ALBUM IS COMING !! :lol:

Hope they will write something about it! - People need to know!

have you sent the link to danish radio stations? Nova is rather MJ friendly. Perhaps they would pick up on it?

I think it is a little weird that MJ's official homepage has not changed??

Same layout - and only a little picture of the Xscape art cover. - I had thought/hoped the website would be all dedicated to the new album!! - No one that enters www.michaeljackson.com should be in any doubt that a new album is coming out !!

someone was saying that I need to be banned from supporting piracy when I commented that I'd only download the songs. So I figured I need to buy the album (God knows I bought more than 10 copies of MICHAEL. I'll never do this again). I wonder if there is a way to get the album WITHOUT THE TIMBALAND MESS? otherwise, it's okay. I won't be getting it cause I simply hate that pile of mess.

You are fully aware that just because Michael himself did it doesn't necessarily mean that it's better than a reproduction right? For example, the GMA extract of Escape dominates the original as far as I'm concerned. Same with Much Too Soon or Hollywood Tonight or Behind the Mask. Timbaland did a great job, Rodney Jerkins did a great job, and I'm sure Jerome Harmon and John McClain will do a great job.

Not everything Michael does is immediately perfect. Don't fool yourself. Buy the whole album and keep an open mind. If you don't like the new versions, you have the originals to lean on. Relax.

Someone posted a picture from iTunes with Xscape - was that fake or?

I can't find Xscape anywhere on iTunes...

Not true. Much of the first week sales for MICHAEL were the general public given that most major fans reused to buy it.

Hey, I've been out of the loop for a while, so can someone just tell me whether it was ever clarified if Monster and Keep Your Head Up were real or not? I'm slightly concerned they will pull the same thing again with a new album release.

I think the general public WILL bother/care - IF the music is great!! - Maybe there are some huge hits on Xscape! - If the songs are good, people will care!!

That has MJ always proven - Quality sells - and makes people aware!

The news are spreading fast!! - I just hope the Estate and SONY promotes the hell out of it! - Make people aware that a new MJ album is out!!

If 2-3 songs becomes huge hits on radio and discos/bars/clubs and on iTunes I think this album could do very well!

"Michael" had no hits really. - Hold My Hand came and went really fast - and no one really cared...

Xscape needs some huge hits to keep good sales - If the songs are perfect and produced great - Then Xscape could be HUGE !!!

By the way, who is that Stargate-producer? Never heard of him.

They are two Norwegian producers who have worked with Ne-Yo and Beyoncé, among many others. Michael met with them sometime in 2007 and talked about working together, but it never came to fruition unfortunately. It's nice to see the estate going for people who Michael wanted to work with though

A question.

When there are 8 songs more on the deluxe edition - will sales still be combined OR is the deluxe edition too different from the Normal version so that they will be counted as two different albums??

Pre-orders DO count towards first week sales, so don't be scared to pre-order.

I don't think we'll see Michael hit number one to be honest. As much as I despise saying it, Lil Wayne's album may be a huge success (which boggles my mind entirely. He's hands down the most embarrassing and talentless rapper in the game.)
