I have no doubts that Michael will dominate the charts come Tuesday. I'm 100% positive he'll hit #1. I will eat my foot if he doesn't.

I know he will be #1 in several countries but it is very important that he hits #1 in his home country the US. I think Black Keys & Frozen are serious competition. We have to make this happen for MJ...dunno if we will ever have another opportunity like this one.

Frozen is dropping in sales already, but the Black Keys may be a competition. We'll see....... MJ definitely has a shot though!

Bad news. LNFSG is only up 3 places since Sunday in the UK Top 40 chart update: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/updatesingles. Really disappointed, actually. :/ I've only heard it on the radio here once, and that was during the chart on Sunday. I haven't seen any promotion either, for the single nor the album. :(

Well, hopefully when the album is out, there is going to be advertising on telly etc

I really hope so. I'm jealous, actually, of all of the promo I've seen elsewhere in the world! Where is the UK's, Sony?! :timer:

Since the deal with Clear Channel Communications, Inc. (1 day heavy radio rotation) has ended, the song had poor spins:

1st day: 34.011
2nd day: 2.313
3rd day: 1.707
4th day: 1.883
5th day: 2.717

total: 42.631

It is now out of the UK top 20.

It reached #7 in Spain (week 28th April - 4th May 2014) - but that's a small market (every VISIONARY DualDisc was either #1 or #2 in that country).

SONY UK has done nothing to promote the single here, its a shambles! Michael would have ensured the promotion would have been off the scale. Its diabolical. They put so much work into the album with basically zero promotion. Idiots.

It is going up. Which is very good.

Day 2 & 3 (Saturday & Sunday) it was expected to drop sharply because of countdown shows that air on weekends. It has gone up both Monday & Tuesday..So it is still on an upswing.

These spins are not poor - around 2 million rise a day is a very solid update. I think the first week airplay will be fine, but after that there will be the so-called "rolling effect" that usually happens on the 8th day, (which happens to all singles btw) and causes airplay to drop significantly. Will LNFSG recover from it? Remains to be seen. If they are planing something for the Billboard Awards that could give it a boost.

Yeah, I don’t see how those updates could be called poor. I don’t think anyone expects this to be some huge radio smash, but solid updates for a while would be great. The rolling effect will be brutal, but that’s what happens when the first day airplay is so huge. I guess we'll have to wait and see if the song can recover from that.

Definitely. Quality vs. quantity. Better to have a steady hit that stays in the rotation over a long period of time than an instant smash that only lasts a few days or weeks.

It seems the public are preferring more the duet than the solo version, well to each their own.

Yayyy iTunes Romania

5 solo
7 duet.

1 deluxe

It was always the solo version higher than the duet.

2 hours ago the album was on 14 and just now, when I checked again I went straight to the 14 place and checked and when I saw it wasn't there anymore I went lower and couldn't find it and panicked ..lol..and it was no 1 : )

Xscape holds steady with the Number Two spot on the worldwide Album Chart, only second to Coldplay's new album. Love Never Felt So Good is Number 4 worldwide (Duet) i have to be honest, i am pleasantly surprised at this performance. Shows Michael is still dearly loved
