Absolutely. And I agree he and Yoko were a perfect match. Not a popular opinion, I know. :)

Yes. People who aren't fans have no idea of their creative brilliance and innovation. All they see is a load of hype over something they don't like and because they don't understand the reasons behind it they just dismiss them as "overrated".

The photos there is mostly all it's good for. They have a lot of good pictures of the Jackson family and other musicians & actors. They're probably the people who watch the Wendy Williams show and made her popular. I think Lipstick Alley might have invented cancel culture. ;) :laughing:
 
If people want to continue to talk about The Beatles there is a thread for them in the Anything Goes section. Since they aren't mentioned in the Estate FAQ we're just going way off track in here.

I saw that one forum post a year ago that he/she turned traitor after watching the Cologne 88’ when the interlude played “It’s Gonna Be A Beautiful Night”. I was extremely disgusted by that individual going traitor over the interlude. Absolutely disgusted.

not releasing new music/demos because it would show Michael in a bad light is utter bullshit.

they are just too lazy and constantly failing in releasing quality projects.

shameful releases: OTW with chalk, this is it anniversary release, scream album, Michael album (fake tracks).
also ignoring dangerous 25.

worst estate you can think of, considering its MJ.

actually bad 25 and Xscape + genuine 'Michael' tracks were enjoyable.

I think so. her name is Alicia she has made the fan community look bad alot of times before....

looks like the FAQ has been updated again and it took off the part about how other estates are jealous of the MJ estate. which is good because it was a stupid move. i guess they saw fans reactions from it.

Yeah, how is releasing MJ’s demos showing him in a bad light?

They’re not supposed to be alternative versions of the finished songs, but an insight into the creative process. Much like looking at sketches for a famous painting. You wouldn’t replace the Mona Lisa in the Louvre with a sketch, of course. That’s not the idea. The idea is to reveal small insights into how the artist arrived at the finished work.

Demos, studio sessions, multitracks, alternate takes – all of these help to give more context to a finished song.

That’s the idea of releasing demos. Not to make them the next hit single or anything.
 
Either the estate lies about what they have or they don’t have much. MJ dealt with a bunch of scumbag managers and shady business deals throughout his life. Know one really knows what he went through. Blackmail and threats. It wouldn’t surprise me if Thome or Deiter have film reals and unreleased material or if MJ himself destroyed all of it. Nothing would shock me but there has to be a explanation to why the most popular person in the world stuff is missing. MJ filmed everything. I’m tired, I guess I’m past the point of expecting anything new that is of value to me.

Your last sentence is where the estate and the fanbase differ. They don't care about releases unless they feel they can be very successful.

The amount of times she has been rude and made the estate look like utter asses I'm surprised she is still there tbh.

i wonder how much staff the estate has. if she doing emails etc. that's makes think that they don't have very much. they need new staff really bad who are long time MJ fans.
