Thanks! Commercials (ads) it will be for me! I wonder how many people (us MJ fans) will be signing up just for this! Lol. Which actually should tell the media something! Positive MJ programming also sells! I know not only MJ was involved with WATW, but let's be honest, most will be watching due to MJ! 😭❤️
 
It says it will be available today in Denmark.

What time at the day do they normally release material on Netflix?

So not worth getting a Netflix subsciption for? What about the footage of MJ and Lionel writing the song? Was it cool? Learned anything new?

Well there was some audio of MJ talking that I believe is new. Plus him humming the melody. And overall some interesting tidbits from Richie and others. Footage wise it was disappointing, but overall a decent doc.
 
So there must be a Michael and Lionel duet demo floating around somewhere, the demo they sent to the artists?
 
Does it have the footage of Michael recording on his own before the other stars arrive?

Hmm I have just finished the documentary and I must say I was a little disappointed, MJ wasn’t really as prominent in the doc as he should have been in my opinion… nice to hear from some of the artists that were there in the new interviews but overall… I don’t think it’s something I would watch again.
 
So I watched it and they made a short part of it being about the Prince and MJ rivalry.

They mentioned how Prince beat MJ for awards won at the AMA's. But what I don't get, MJ won all his awards in 1984. What more could he have won for the 1985 AMA's?

MJ wasn't even there anyways. He was already at the studio recording.

I had to change my settings to (12) maturity rating just for the documentary to appear as an option. I’m still on the fence about watching it, but I like that michael appears on the thumbnail with lionel. maybe someone will upload michael’s parts if they haven’t already?
 
I have watched it now. I really enjoyed it a lot. It is NOT a MJ doc. It's about the making of the song We Are The World.

To get so many superstars to come together and make it in just one looong night... Amazing. Just the logistics. All the calenders are pretty packed, and yet they managed.

I liked the footage of MJ and the parts where his voice was used. But I like many of the others singers too, so I really liked to see how they came together and made the impossible possible.

Nothing negative about MJ. A fair and positive doc that puts focus back on the music. MJ's genius is mentioned. He is called one of the best songwriters of all time. - This is exactly what is needed. Focus on his songwriting and singing skills.

Great doc. I miss the old days.
