LOVE this song......I've always thought he was extremely talented....and I'm not into rap at all....I don't think I've truly disliked any of his songs....He says what's on his mind, doesn't sell out....I believe he's a true artist...Even my father likes him, and he's 54 years old.... He's fantastic...

Yeezy2010 will love this:

Kanye West is giving Nicki Minaj a major co-sign. The rapper says Young Money’s First Lady has the potential to be one of the greatest rappers of all time.

“The scariest artist in the game right now… The scariest artist is definitely Nicki Minaj,” Kanye told Angie Martinez on Hot 97. “And I think she has the most potential out of everyone to be the #2 rapper of all time ’cause nobody’s gonna be bigger than Eminem. Eminem’s the #1 rapper of all time.”

Kanye confirmed that Minaj is featured on his fifth album, as Rap-Up.com first reported. The disc is due November 16.

Who are the other potential threats? “I love Wayne, I love Cudi, I love Jay… They scare me too,” he revealed. “And yo Drake, you gotta give Drake credit too. Drake is scary also.”

Of course the stuff about Nicki Minaj is some crazy shit, but he wouldn't be Kanye if there wasn't an abundance of crazy shit.

Lmao @ "oh and Drake is scary too."

Haha yeah loved it.... JOKE :)
Kanye is a right tool sometimes with what he says. I think he was meaning to be the biggest tbh. Drake is such a joke & Nicki too. I dont know how hes been in the studio, with Pete Rock, Premo & RZA and he gets involved with these idiots like Drake, Wayne and Nicki. Also saying Swizz Beats is one of the greatest producers. Ye needs to lay off the Hennessey and get in the studio with the greats. Haha
Don't understand how sometimes he'll drop names like Nas & Mos Def then he puts the commercialised (sp) artists up with them.

Ah well. Everyone get in the "My Dark Twisted Fantasy" thread. :)

I'm really loving the new album. 25 To Life, Going Through Changes, Space Bound & Cinderella Man have been on repeat. I really like it.

This album is so good.

Some of my favourites are;

Cold Winds Blow - almsot same beat as Deja Vu fro Relapse, lol.

Talkin 2 Myself - is really cool.

W.T.P - Love it, reminds me of Encore.

Going Through Changes - Love it when Eminem gets serious.

Not Afraid - Best song on the album IMO. It's just damn good.

Space Bound, nice beat and amazing rapping.

25 To Life - Nice song

So Bad - second favourite of them all. The beat is just "off the hook", Dre did it AGAIN. I'm so bad, I'm so good that I'm so bad!

Edit: Forgot "You're Never Over". Underrated.

I found this very interesting article yesterday. It was published in September 2010. I do not know if one could say that the quality of his lyrics decreased after he had to re-learn how to rap. I do not know his music enough to be able to judge, what would you guys say ?

Here is the article:

Eminem forgot how to rap!

American rapper Eminem had to teach himself how to rap again after overcoming an addiction to prescription drugs.

The We Made You hitmaker, who sought help for a dependency to prescription medications after overdosing in December 2007, felt "born again" after successfully overcoming his substance abuse problem, reports contactmusic.com.

"When I got clean and sober, it was like I was a kid again. Not to sound corny, I felt like I was born again. I had to learn my writing skills. I was re-learning how to rap. I didn't know if my skills were intact," he said.

"I actually had to learn how to say my lyrics again - how to phrase them, make them flow, how to use force so they sounded like I meant them. Rapping wasn't like riding a bike. It was as much physical as mental. I was re-learning basic motor skills. I couldn't control my hand shakes. I'd get in the recording booth and tried to rap, and none of it was clever and I wasn't saying it right," he said.

The 37-year-old star also opened up about how his drug use affected his creativity, admitting he felt like he was "frying" his brain.

"They stifled me. I don't know if I was frying brain cells or what, but I couldn't think. The drugs also made me lazy. I was lazy about everything. I'd get high and say, 'F**k writing rhymes. I wanna sit down, watch some TV and eat nachos - and watch more TV'," he said.

I think Eminem is a lyrical genious - except for some lines in 'Just Lose It'.
