Anyone here a Michael Jackson fan since 2001?

Why do you allways have to get across how old you are and squeeze it into everything??:S

If you were smart, you can take a guess. Maybe because it shows how much it makes it more surprising that I even became a fan? Or that most kids my age make fun of him, so I am trying to explain how ignorant people my age talk about Michael. So, it was a harder "journey" to like Michael in the first place.

But then again, your probably not smart. Since you just like to complain about EVERY post I make :flowers: Have a good night!

I have been a fan since 1983...I was 12 at the time and Thriller was real big. Nice to see he has many newer fans now.

That last statement was a very immature thing to say. How can you judge how smart someone is based on that......doesnt make sense.

The reason i've picked on a few of your posts, is because youve obviously been told your very mature and wise for your age. Which maybe true as you are obviously very open minded and wise for your age.
However it seems that it has gone to your head a bit and now you like to try and show off somewhat.........or get across how old you are to people on the board.

I know this because I was the same........I became an MJ fan at around your age and was told all the same thing, and did all the stuff that your doing. I can spot it from a mile away.

Anyways.........back on topic, yer its very hard growing up liking Michael in a school environment.
Especially around the time of the trial and being in high school, its hard defending him all the time. In most cases your outnumbered aswell.

Im not complaining about being an MJ fan, in fact its the best thing thats ever happened to me in so many ways. Im just saying its hard at times.

Well, he is 12..maybe looking for some attention.
I don't think being a young fan is anything odd, I have met a few.

But my question is, what am I showing off? That makes no sense whatsoever. But, okay. I guess I should listen to the grown ups! :)

How about you all stop 'assuming' I'm trying to do something, and stop bothering me. Aren't we supposed to be talking about becoming fans, not how old I am? Which 'likiddabean' keeps doing in every thread of mine.

And don't say the last thread was my fault, one person saw my pictures from the member picture's thread, and I guess he remembered I was 12 because I don't mention it out of RANDOM, for NO REASON. He said, "I really love your post for a 12 year old" and I said thanks. And you turned the thread into me. And then saying I wanted attention. Which is what this thread is becoming too.

Mmm! I feel like an old fart...Since 1970

You don't have to feel to old ... or rather, you don't have to feel alone in your age bracket

Michael has been in my life since the 70's... concerts, album lines, standing outside venues/hotels/malls etc. I just never called myself a fan ;)

Silly goose...
I grew up with The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Soul Train, American Band Stand, Disco, Rock & Roll...

Still have lots of original 45's, LP's etc...

I guess you could call me old school;
