the show began today on MBC4. sadly its alll in araibc! can't understand a word!

anyway.....



The first competitor was a huge :heart:MJ fan from Lebanon. clearly she was a huge loytal fan.

dressed in Billie Jean costume, she danced with the song and she was good, not perfect but okay!

though i couldn't understand what the judges said but i found it so rude of them, the way they eliminated her out of the match specially the first guy who pushed the red cross button........ and not only that but it seemed they were not so nice to :heart:Michael either.:no::no::(


but to me she was great.
i applaud her, her confidence, her talent, her love for :heart:Michael and showing the world that :heart:Michael is still SO SO SO ALIVE IN ALL OF US.

A 38-year-old Londoner has told the Got To Dance judges that he is a better dancer than Michael Jackson.

On this weekend's audition shows, hopeful Afshin promises big things when he takes to the stage in the dance dome.

"I'm a great dancer and everyone tells me I am a great dancer. Since I was 15 years old I have been inventing my own dance moves," he says.

"It's like Iranian dancing with breakdancing. I get my inspiration from Michael Jackson and I believe I dance better than Michael Jackson actually. I got the looks, I got the moves and I got the good body. What more do they want?"

During his passionate performance, Afshin takes his shirt off and dances topless, but it is not clear if he has won over the panel with his routine.

Got To Dance airs on Sunday at 6pm on Sky1.

they said that she wasn't dancing up to the level of MJ. she said that Michael would be proud of her, one of the judges replied that mj would be turning in his grave.

They were very mean to her, and because of the lame camera angles you couldnt see most of her performance. I agree that it wasn't top notch, but it wasn't that bad either. I just wanted to thank her wherever she is, MJ is certainly proud of you :)

Edit: about the Iranian(?) guy, what does it have to do with this thread?

I'm confused...who is SHE....or is she him....or is he a different person than her...? :scratch: :lol: Who is the girl in the video and is that guy saying he dancs better than MJ also supposed to be on that video? Because the girl in the front was pretty stiff and her timing was off ...same with most of the dancers on it. By the time it ended it seemed every single one of them had their own timing. :lol:But maybe it was supposed to look like that? Maybe they choreograhed it that way? :bugeyed :lol:

LOL. This is a good indication of that he is probably not that good. Michael once said (and he was right) that the really talented people are humble. They don't need to brag about how great they are. Others will notice anyway.

Translation:
She is 27 form Lebanon. She became a fan of MJ at age 9. She started dancing at age 11. One day when she was 13 years old she dreamnt of MJ teaching her how to dance, and this is what encouraged her to continue.
She thinks she will reach the semi finals cos she believes she is the only female to impersonate MJ.
The judges told her it has nothing to do with your sex, if you are a female or male, but mainly if you can dance or not.
The judges welcome that she is a fan but basically it stops there. Also that he will be rolling in his grave sad from this performance. And those who want to be close to him have to be really talented and thats something she doesnt have.
She says that anyway she wanted to dedicate this dance to the Mj fans!

i was in the live show..? she danced more about 2 min , she was lovely but they didnt show on TV.. plus she said she was not ther to compete nor to win, just to courage all girls in the arab world to show their talent whatever it is because 95% of participants are boys and she said she is there to spread? MJ Message LOVE & PEACE.
