Wow...you guys went from SUPER SUPER HAPPY......to SUPER SUPER depressed in a span of 24 hours.

Yikes!!

Branca already told several fan leaders that BAD tour would be coming. I don't understand why people are still doubting it will happen.

I'm not doubting it anymore, I'm gonna be from now on I know the BAD Tour is being released and I have faith in John Branca, come on #MJFam it's pretty likely we will get a BAD Tour DVD so don't worry and be happy :)

Just being optimistically cautious. That's all... Like everything else in the world, plans do change. Issues do arise.

I don't think people are depressed. It's not unusual for people to be doubtful when there isn't any confirmation coming out.

we do need confirmation by Early August to be honest otherwise if we don't get confirmation by then, then I will doubt everything that is going on.

You are so right. Sony/estate know darned well the BAD Tour is a true treasure and will be huge. Michael was at his very best at that time, and every MJ fan whether hard core or not, or regular music fans would love to have this in their archives. I can't wait!!

No need to exaggerate...No one is SUPER DEPRESSED....It's just called being realistic...It's a discussion...I just want the best for posthumous releases for the greatest entertainer that ever lived :D

The thing that makes me doubt more then anything about it being released is the fact that a fan from here (can't remember who it was) went to a Sony meeting late last year discussing releases for this year and while the Bad 25 album was talked about there apparently was absolutely no mention about anything regarding a Bad tour on DVD. That combined with the fact we have had no official news or confirmation that its coming does make me wonder.

Why are you all being so negative? I'm 1000% sure that Bad Tour '88 will be released this year. And it will be Wembley. Only thing that might happen is that the quality will be crappy like Vision (but that is how the Estate works).

I don't want to hear any interviews on the CD but I don't think that will happen. I hate those interviews on Special Editions. But again they didn't appear on Thriller 25. So I'm not worry about that either.
 
I'm looking forward to Spike Lee's documentary. I think it will be awesome. I'm glad that he interviewed Wesley Snipes & Siedah Garrett. It will be cool to see all these guys 25 years later.

I hope he'll do interviews with: Quincy Jones, Bruce Swedien, Matt Forger, John Barnes, Greg Phillinganes, Bill Bottrell, Steve Porcaro, Stevie Wonder, Glen Ballard, Andraé Crouch, Steve Stevens, Tatiana Thumbtzen, Martin Scorsese...

I have to believe that since Bad Tour was Michael's first solo tour that he recorded it. He would do things like that right? It was important to him. I know this is easier said then done but let's not worry too much about this right now. It's just going to drive us crazy lol. I don't have any expectations. I just hope whatever is being done will be good.

The article says by 2020 not in 2020, which means in 2020 we will most probably have it, but that it'll be available prior to 2020.

Yeh i remember someone saying that too but cant remember the username and i think the reason alot of us have issues with not believing of bad 25th coming out is cuz of what happened in 2001 with invincible

What happened with Invincible that give us responded to thing they wont release BAD 25? They released Invincible
They also released Thriller 25 . And promoted it heavily for a whole year. Why wouldn't they do the same for BAD 25 ?

I'm excited and looking forward to it and I think we should be celebrating to usher BAD 25 in for Michael.

We already see plenty of evidence its coming. and the Fact Pepsi sponsored the BAD TOUR if think
that is a good sign the BAD Tour will also be released with the Album. with Pepsi Sponsoring it :)

Maybe they'll be late with the release of BAD 25 and they'll release it next year.
This means they'll have to cross out the number 25 andnext to it write 26.

So we'll have BAD26 instead of BAD25.

As far as the support is concerned, well what the heck, why bot simply put it on the cassette

-They did release Ghosts on VHS (???)
-They did release a collection of MJ's videos on DVD (with poor quality and none on blu-ray ?????)
-They did release Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad Dangerous with luckily some unreleased tracks (+ interviews??? not a single unrelease stuff on Dangerous special... why is it special then??? just the cover?)
-They did Thriller 25, but no trace neither of DVD nor of blu-ray of MJ's making of Thriller video, not to mention that they missed the opportunity to release victory tour video on dvd or blu-ray to commemorate Thriller 25.

On the contrary we have had greatest hits after greatest hits, no single live cd either.

They've always kept the things to the minimum, so our expectations should be kept to the minimum. (Sarcastic:) It's only the King Of Pop we are talking about, not Justin Bieber...

Looking forward seeing Spike Lee document. It's about the time that such is made of Michael and his work, even if it's only about Bad album.
I love watching docs of musicians, old and new, and often wondered how come there is no document of Michael. I have seen tons of documents of less known musician, so great that it is in the works, well deserved. Hopefully, down the line we are going to see much more document programs of Michael's work.

That person was lying. Fans dont go to "Sony meetings". The majority of what he claimed to have been discussed has already been proven to be false. It is because of people like that in general that these false hopes are started in the first place.
