Yes but the Estate can sue them as well if they use MJ name and image. It's their job normaly to protect his name against vultures like that.

Bravado is suing them in the name of the Estate. Bravado is the approved representative of MJ Estate in regards to everything merchandise. So Bravado is the one that files such lawsuits - always. It's the same thing as Estate suing them.

The original Video was on Julian Rouas Paris' s website. Julian Rouas took it down after a few days. It was uploaded on YouTube unlisted, which means only people with the link can view it. I did manage to copy it and upload it on YouTube? in the public space. TMZ has reported that Joe Jackson has been spotted hocking these cheap perfumes in tacky mall. This Jackson/Rouas perfume venture is really getting stupider by the minute.

Joe wasnt sitting in the Mall at a booth selling the perfume himself. he just went out to take a break from the Launch party
and sat in the chair _maybe he was upset about how it all unfolded.. Non the less Julian Rouas was served his subpoena

Honestly, idk what happened with Joe, but I dont see him staying in that mall waiting for customers. It doesnt seem worthy of the pedestal he self built.

It's different clothes. So it's clearly not the launch date. On launch he was wearing a red / maroon jacket, in these photos he's clearly wearing gray jacket.

Not much more news....doesn't say when this will reach Europe and Asia...but I was just amused by the headline...makes it sound like a virulent form of 'flu :)

The three JRP Jackson tribute fragrances were refused by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) prior to the Jan 21st 2012 launch, but that didn't stop Julian Rouas to proceed with this travesty. They need to be shut down and if that includes upsetting some of the 'family' then so be it. No doubt the cheques from Michael's estate are accepted without question - let the estate do its job!!

I see the Trademark Office found the 'jacksontributefragrance blogspot.com'...half of the attachments seem to be from there :)

Not sure what the 'Victoria secret' perfumes have to do with Michael though...attachment appx 68-ish on the first document

The lawyers for Julian Rouas ( Joe Jackson's partner in Jackson perfumes) is asking to withdraw from the case as a condition in their fee agreements has not been satisfied - in other words for not being paid.

Well in another update Bravado has updated their original complaint as well

1. They added a complaint for "King of Pop" trademark

If you remember the packaging had a reference to "in memory of king of pop".
