Did MJ die in pain?

Hi, if MJ died with drugs overdose of anykind. Did he then suffer, or did he just sleep in and never wake up? I know it not easy to say, but do anyone work with this things and can say what you think. And if he died with this diprivian (sp) drug how did the death happen?
 
I wonder how death feel like.. I guess its like sleeping, you are not aware of anything.

No. People who die of cardiac arrest dont feel the pain coz it happens in matter of seconds. Unlike Heart attacks where the patients feel severe pain in the chest for as long as 10 mins, cardic arrest leads to instant COMA or death. We all know MJ went into coma.

also, if the patient is diabetic then there is even lesser chances of the patient feeling any pain both incase of cardiac arrest & heart attacks.

MJ wud have never realised that he was gonna die, its just happend in a few seconds.
 
We have no idea how Michael died. It seems likely that he died in his sleep and Dr Murrey panicked and didn't call for an ambulance when he should have done, according to what Tito and Jermaine have said.
 
I thought cardiac arrest and heart attack was the same thing. What's the difference? My native language is not English, sorry.

The term heart attack refers to damage to the muscle of the heart, usually from a lack of blood flow. Most of the time a blood clot forms in one of the arteries that supply heart muscle with blood, blocking the flow of blood. As the heart muscle starves it begins to die, causing chest pain and other heart attack symptoms.

Cardiac arrest happens when the heart stops pumping blood. With no pumping action, the blood pressure falls and blood is no longer forced into the muscles and organs of the body. There are all sorts of reasons the heart will stop pumping blood. It might get extremely weak or begin quivering uselessly. It might also start racing so fast it can no longer fill with blood, which causes the blood pressure to fall dangerously.
 
I wonder about this too.

I remember my cat passed away a year ago of a heart attack and he let out a screech really loud in pain. And I keep thinking that what if Michael was in pain like this too :cry:

I'm not a "medical" person, but I know that a heart-attack involves a blockage of blood getting to the heart, usually from a clot. The heart muscle, or part of it, can die and it's extremely painful. But, no one has said Michael died of a heart-attack. Heart disease and a heart attack would have been obvious in the autopsy, but were not reported as that.

With cardiac arrest, if there has been no heart-attack, the heart beats slower and slower and then just stops. If breathing stops, the heart will soon stop. So far, it seems that this is what happened to Michael. And if so, then he most likely didn't feel any pain and simply went deeper and deeper into sleep, then a coma, and then his heart stopped. At least he had that mercy?
 
this is so upsetting...very very sad. I also believe he went peacefully, God is good I dont think Michael suffered I think he just didnt wake up,
 
This is such a sad thing to think about :(...

I hope he was not hurting when he passed away.

If the explaination of cardiac arrest is correct then i assume he had no pain, which I am glad for...

Lord this is a tuff thread. I really don't want to think about this..
 
If he died from Diprivan he would not have suffered. If you have ever had surgery or been put out it is quick and painless. He would have been unconcious when he stopped breathing. That is the only comfort we have. He suffered so much in life at least at the end, if this was the cause, he would not have known he was dying, never had pain or fear, or a long illness like cancer.
 
It is hard to think about... I pray that he was in no pain :pray:
 
At first, during the heart attack, he would feel severe pain, but eventually he would fall unconcious, which is like falling asleep, everything gets dark before your eyes and you pass away. Then he had his cardiac arrest, the heart stopped beating, he was then "fallen asleep" already and most likely was in this state when CPR was performed on him. So yes, he felt pain for a few minutes but with death also comes relief which he also felt when he passed away, you don't actually ever die in pain I believe.
 
I hope he didn't feel pain...I hope he died in peace...

I guess he just felt a little sudden pain, maybe for one moment he realize something strange was gonna happen...

they say when you're goin to die life passes in front of you in one second
I hope what passed in front of Michael were all good things...his children, his mother, his friends, his fans, his concerts...

we miss you Michael
 
I was under the impression that he died whilst unconsious from the diprivan. so i guess if that is the case then he wouldnt have felt any pain.

He didnt have a heart attack to my knowledge...
 
I hope so badly that he felt no pain... At least that... After all the pain in life, he deserved to go a peace... God I just miss him so much...
 
I think Michael died peacefully in his sleep with no more pain or worry of this world. Mabe when he saw the light on the other side it was too beautifull to turn back.....I think he found the peace on the other side that he could never find here.

And stop saying he died from diprovan like it's a fact! Let's wait and see for the painful report that will eventually come... :cry:

I'll kill myself now if he died in pain
 
God, I hope not! It would kill me to think he died in pain. Oh gosh, I really hope he passed away peacefully :cry:. I couldn't bear to think otherwise.
