Yes, they have reworked the song. To correct you: A snippet of "Another Day" first leaked on 2nd February 2010. Journalists that are writing the song leaked in 2008 are nuts!

January 2nd 2010, trust me on this one. As i foresaw then that snippet was all we got at the time and that was enough for then, but now i do feel it is time we got to hear it in full. I really can't forget the beginning of the year even though i truly, really want to. The total opposite of 'let's start the new year right'. I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy what i've been through earlier this year.

Listening to these snippets makes me laugh at the reviews tabloids gave the album. Especially The Sun.
It does make ya laugh at their pathetic words, don't it? As if critics mattered everrrrrrrrr, let alone biased tabloid reviews. Remember folks -
their lies cannot control the minds of those who know that they'll even sell their soul just to get a story sold. You really shouldn't buy it (literally and figuratively speakin) those who do are only feedin' an infernal machine. And most of ol, whatever you do, you must always remember -
just because you read it in a magazine, or see it on a tv screen don't make it factual.
Almost nobody knows it.... few fans that bought it or downloaded it.... There are many fans that didn't hear the songs on Ultimate collection trust me. As for the rest of the public... Why hide those tracks? Put them again in new albums.... We've had enough especially.... that's a masterpiece!

I always loved that song just for it's honesty. It's sweet but in a very simply way. "I like the way that you hold me." It's so happy in in a simple way, I think that's why I like that song so much.
