Here's my take on the songs:

*HMH- brilliant, glad it's the 1st single
*HT- Great song cant wait to hear the whole thing
*KYHU- Still think it's MJ, with someone else doing some additional vocals to help finish it. I love it.
*WYLM- Sounds better than T.U.C version...but still shouldn't be on there when other great songs could be on here
*Monster- need to hear more to make an honest opinion. It's OK. I'll leave it at that.
*BOJ- This is one that's gonna have to grow on me. This sounds kinda corny to me.
*BH- still sounds 1/4 MJ, 3/4 someone else. Again like WYLM, why not remove it for something that's all MJ?
*AD- I love it, but I prefer the fan version online to this. Can't wait to hear the rest
*BTM- It's def 80s...kinda technoish. Gonna have to grow on me. This one is better than Best Of Joy IMO
*MTS- Brilliance

I love Best Of Joy, Keep Your Head Up, Much Too Soon, and Hollywood Tonight (from what I've heard of them anyway).
Monster sounds awesome too, imo. Can't wait to hear the full song.

Not sure how I feel about The Way You Love Me.

Excited. :)

When I get this, I'm no doubt going to have it on repeat for about a week afterwards.

I can't decide which I like the best. I have to hear everything in full a few times. But Hollywood Tonight is in my head right now.:)

1.HMH-Great song. Love the lyrics. Wish more MJ vocals and less Akon.

2.HT- Cannot say anything. The melody is very good. The vocals? Not sure till I hear the whole song.

3 KYHU- Never would listen to this one again. Does not give MJ feeling.

4.TWYLM- a good song. I like the lyrics but it is not new.

5.Monster - Mixed feelings. So far I have no opinion. Thriller and this theme was never my faviorite anyways.


6 BN- Great bits, great lyrics, very Michaelish but the vocals sound weird (has been discussed millions of times). Not MJ imo but the song no matter what gives Michaelish feeling even with weird vocals.

7.AD- My fav from this album. No question, it is PURE MJ. Love it.

8.BTM- Good song, great vocals, 100% MJ but it will not be my fav but who knows. Maybe I will ike it later.

9. Best Of Joy -it has to be lovely lyrics and the melody. Not sure about the vocals. Is it from Cascos tracks or not? Gotta listen a full song before I say something.

10. MTS- My fav from this album. Pure MJ. I am not happy about adding an accordion to the original MJ version but I can live with this.

There are no other Cascio songs on the album other than BN, KYHU, and Monster. So if you have to doubt the authenticity of Hollywood Tonight and Best Of Joy, then you truly have let outside sources cloud your judgement.

slave to the rhythm should be a bonus track! MJ showed he is the king of electronic/house music too :)

I am with you on the bolded. I am not getting into Hollywood Tonight yet; maybe later when I buy the song I will. I love the slow songs too, but Mask is driving me crazy already.

One person is reserving judgement because he / she only heard a snippet. It does not mean anything. Asedora isn't unsure about Behind The Mask, so you can't even imply it.

It also doesn't matter if it was one person or hundreds, you tried to imply to me that no one was doubting the songs, which as I've shown you, was wrong.

These three are my faves so far of what Ive heard: 'Hollywood Tonight', 'Behind the Mask' and 'Another Day'

ASEDORA, like you I wish Akon's voice was not so LOUD in Hold my Hand. It really seems like his song, but I love it because I can hear Michael's voice. I am hoping someone takes the song and removes part of Akon's vocals so I can hear more Michael.

No it is not correct. I see it drives you crazy? From snippets with background vocals it is never easy to get a clue. However I do believe it MJ but I want to hear the whole song. Actually, I wanted to say Monster but I said HT. HT is MJ imo, Monster - I am not sure. BOJ - has too many background vocals on the snippet they give us. I hope it helps.

wow. I am starting to believe the flow of the album will be quite good. and i must admit that I just love breaking news.

Really loving (I Can't Make It) Another Day....wow is all I can say. Sony better make that song the next single.

Wow thanks so much for the link, the new songs ( and by that I mean what wasn't already leaked) sound awesome!!!
They had a little longer snippet of Hollywood tonight on the Ellen Degeneres show but it's kinda hard to hear with the crowd screaming. Sounded great though. It's up on her page if anyone wants to look.

On the new snipper of Monster it is clear this is Mj, as well as Breaking News. My doubts have been cast away at least,

1. Hollywood Tonight
2. Do you know where your children are
3. Blue Gangsta
4. (Like) The way you love me
5. Slave to the Rhythm
6. Best of Joy
7. Xscape
8. Another Day
9. Behind the Mask
10. Much Too Soon

I wish..... I'd be so happy with the album. It's just the Cascio tracks that annoy me and sorry but I don't care much for Hold my Hand either (which is more an Akon feat. MJ song than the other way around).

I admit that Hollywood Tonight does sound great but i noticed something weird. You can clearly hear Michael in the first verse of the snippet but when the chorus hits, it sounds like another voice was added in. It's not a Cascio track but i don't know. Your thoughts anyone?

Yeah, I noticed this too. I don't mind this, as long as its MJ on lead vocal. It was the same thing with Break of Dawn. There's only a problem when the lead vocal doesn't sound like MJ.

Also, if they were going to re-release a song from TUC, it would have been nice if it was WHE. I think too many people find TWTYLM a bit lame.

Seriously this has got to stop with the worrying about fake this and that. Why would Sony use some underground artist from youtube to fill in for MJ? Do you think they need cash that bad? This Jason guy is only known to MJ fans.

Lets test his popularity. Do any other fans of other artist know about him? Doubt it and the only fans who know him are fans of MJ. How can you know all this guy's material? You must be a fan of his and obsessed with him.

Fans are allowing one year wonder 3 t and the never hit Jacksons (Without MJ) to influence them. Your starting to overanalyze every MJ song because of what a member 3 t said.

The last time they were hot basketball superstar Kobe Bryant was still in a high school.

Guess what? Before I listened to Breaking News, I hadn't been on this forum for days. I saw absolutely no bad publicity or anything about the song being fake. I went in listening to it being as objective as humanely possible.

Woke up on that Monday, excited to hear it as I liked what I heard from the snippet, but as soon as "his" vocals cut in. BAM. "This isn't MJ", I thought.

That's how I felt like. I didn't immediately think "it's not Michael" but my heart just sank. I was loving the music until the vocals came in and I was like .. :mello::mello:...:(:(...

Here's my dilemma, I adore the 7 other songs but I'm feeling weird over BN, KYHU and Monster...
