Latest on MJJC

How did you come to MJJC?

Some of MJ fan blog mentioned MJJC.
Then I googled and found it and joined, because I want to know about him more!
 
I can't even remember. Looked at my joining date, january 2003. I think I've been here before that. Back in those days I was a member of MJNI's board and then moved to King Of Pop Discussion board when it was still on ezboard. Then it got too crazy for me at KOP so I came here. This was the best place during the trial.
"Doomy" and "gloomy" were kept on leash :cheeky: and there was accurate information on the case.

Oh goodness...the KOPD on ezboard was the first MJ forum I ever visited, back when I first got the internet back in 1998, which was a WebTV no less! :lol: I've been here for a while too, but don't post much, especially because the trial got so crazy. These days I feel like the members here are nicer, but there are a lot of people from the old days that I totally love.
 
I wanted to find out which hotel Michael was staying at the day before Michael made the 02 announcements, think the details of the Marlsborough were on here. So I drove down and waited for him, he didn't come to the window though but a lot of fans were gathered and MJ music was playing and the police turned up once. Was anyone else from here that day?
 
I joined MJJF after the accusations against MJ in 2003. Then my membership was transferred to MJJC, although I wasn't a regular poster here at that time and came back after Michael passed...

Before MJJF I was a member of KOP and before the internet I was a member of MJ News International.
 
I was downloading some MJ concerts and got a link from another forum...

I think I was on MJSFC.com first and I found the link here from mjhideout.com I think about a month or two before I registered as it wasn't letting me join for some reason :lol:

I'm so glad I found this place, without it I don't know how I could have survived this past year

I bought my first computer in January 2001 and googled "Michael Jackson", found a bunch of MJ boards on Yahoo, joined ten of them but only really participated in one, someone on there gave me a link to KOP, later someone on KOP gave me a link to MJJF which I joined in the beginning of 2003 (had already been reading for a while without being a member), then MJJF transferred into MJJC. MJJF/MJJC has always been my favorite board.
 
I was a member in a Forum that I recently discovered formally supports the Jackson Family Foundation. I don't agree with what they do.

As an MJ fan, of course, I am mourning. I've been a fan since 1969.
I looked for a new Forum, and stopped here because it is so large, and seems like a cool open-minded place.

I don't really know. Guess I tripped over a link somewhere on the net browsing around for Michael stuff. I used to visit regularly for quite some time before I registered my account, but felt a need to participate in discussions after the horrible last June.
 
I got tickets the the show in London, and wanted a place to talk to fans, and this was the first one that came up. Been here ever since.
 
My brother kept going on about this forum, before June last year, he would say 'you call yourself an MJ fan and you don't even know this or that' and he would fire off stories that had been posted here. Unfortunatley I didn't know what forums were until recently, and I didn't pay much attention to my little brother (who is a fourm addict!).
Then in the lonely aftermath, I guess I really needed somewhere to feel support. I suffered alone for a long time before finally getting an account. Now I see what all the fuss was about :) I just wish I'd joined earlier so I could have shared in all the joys and excitement....but I'm glad I'm here now. It's like having an extended mind! Thanks guys.

I googled Michael Jackson news and found MJJC but I only read it. Later I decided to join.
 
I googled something about Michael, and the link was referred back to this site. I had a look around and I immediately decided I HAD to sign up :)
 
I came here coz MJJForum closed down and was transformed into MJJCommunity.

I cane to MJJF coz i grew tired of the KOPboard.

I registered on the official site (michaeljackson.com) after MJ announced his shows. Wanted to share my joy with other fans becasue my friends were sick to death to hear me talking about Michael non-stop. I came here becasue moonstreet suggested us to come over.. I didnt post a lot here before cuz I was pretty active on the official forum. Ive been a fan for years but the thought of actually joining a forum didnt cross my mind at all. Kinda like what bruceWayne wrote that it took a time to realize that it existed forums on the internet LOL

I remember you too :) When MJ passed, I just couldnt go back there. Too painful, all the excitement we had, the memories, everything crashed.. I really enjoyed it there because we had a blast, u recognized everyone and it was always the same ppl posting and.. but now all the oldies are gone sadly.. i go back once a month or so just to check it out but its not like it used to be at all..

I first signed up on michaeljackson.com in 2009, but left when the drama became too much. I found this place from another fan. I was on here for awhile, but left when I was going through some personal issues. When I decided to return, I didn't want to keep the screen name I originally had (Porcelain) so I made this one to make a fresh start. Now, I'm here again. :)
 
I was a member on MJnewsonline, and when that closed we all flocked to this forum.
 
I was told about this forum by a friend and decided to check it out.
 
I searched high and low for Michael websites before the end of the 2009. I cant live without forum and I found MJJC on google. MJJC mainsite has pretty interesting design and the information was accurate. I became a member and automatically a member in the forum too. What I really like about MJJC Forum is that MJJC is the most respectful forum I have ever been and the fans here are very sweet and helpful and I gained some good friends here.

I found MJJC aswell when MJnewsonline was closed (I was sad at that time, cause I felt like I lost a home). Although I wasn't a member there I always read every discussion/newsreport on Michael. I did have an account on a forum called 'Speechless' for some years, but the bigger reason for subscribing was their multimedia session. Now this is my new MJ HOME! :) When the This Is It Concert topic was blocked for guests (I believe it was somewhere around mid June 2009), I decided to make this account on June 23th last year. Unfortunately this was just two days before June 25th.
