Serve them right for selling out Michael for their financial gain. They deserve to be exposed, humiliated and lose just for that.

I couldn’t agree more. After the way the J's have thrown Michael under the bus lying about their concern for his addictions and fake interventions I hope they are exposed. Letting Murray off the hook and releasing him from suffering financially after he murdered Michael in the most cold, callous way is the last straw for me where the Jackson’s are concerned. I want AEG to wipe the floor with them because the fact of the matter is that AEG respected MJ 100X’s more than the Jackson’s ever have. Sure MJ was under stress but it was a lot less stress than Joe standing off stage with a belt ready to beat him like an animal if he (Joe) didn’t like the performance! The fact of the matter is that Michael was not a fragile little porcelain doll. He was trained to handle stress, pressure and many other unpleasant things that have to do with the entertainment industry. Michael would have survived just fine and had the most successful comeback in music industry history if not for the actions of Conrad Robert Murray. I don’t believe for a moment that KO or RP had ANY knowledge whatsoever that Murray was pumping MJ full of benzo’s and Propofol for six entire weeks.

That AEG did hire Murray.

That is the crux of their case, and the trial proved that Michael had an established relationship with Murray, he wanted Murray, and is responsible for him being a part of the tour. Although AEG handled the financial negotiations, everything was subject to MJ's approval.

It's always about money with this family. How much Michael would give them over the years, the will and now this. People wonder why Michael kept his distance and spent time with other families than his own. I think Michael would hate his children being dragged in a lawsuit.

One of the questions that stand out for me is the question of what was removed from Michael's house after he passed away. The answer to that question can end up being one of the most embarrassing things to come out. We know that some of this stuff was taken and sold at auction can you imagine what others would think when they hear that?

I know this is wrong, but I cannot help but to be happy reading this. After two and a half years of dealing with this family and it seems that all their lying is finally coming back to bite them in the butt. I have no pity for this family, especially Mrs. Jackson since she brought all of this on herself. That family should know you can't sue a major company like AEG with blog rumors.

I do feel sorry for the kids before being dragged into his mess.

That recent video of KJ bothered me. It reminded me of her age and how health is more vulnerable at that age. I hate actions she's taken, but don't want anything to happen to her, and all these dealings she's been involved in since MJ's death are detrimental. I find it very contradictory the family expected AEG to pull the plug on the concert because of MJ's health, but they're not pulling any plugs where KJ is concerned.

I know, but Jermaine and the family said they should have been told about MJ's health so they could have intervened and made some big difference, and even suggested they could have somehow put a halt to everything. Well, they can't even stop Katherine. How would telling them anything have affected Michael proceeding with TII or not.

And I'm curious how they're going to put a money figure to damages. They're saying AEG should have cancelled the tour, but the tour is what would have generated the bulk of the millions they seek.

I don't see this as Katherine's own idea.I think that Katherine was talked to this lawsuit by some family members (I'm sure many have a good idea who that might be) or/and lawyers.
Even if Katherine wanted to drop this case, there are people behind of her pushing her to pursue this lawsuit for their own benefit.
Lawyers are expecting big pay check and some members of family their share. She does have a lawyer that is specialised to big settlements? After Murray trial, it seems that her case is in shaky ground, I cannot see her winning this case nor do I see settlement at all.

I wonder when this goes to court, and Katherine loses the case, would estate pay her court costs, lawyers etc?

So AEG basically wants to know everything they know about Michael, Michael's entire life so to speak. Well, the Jacksons brought this on themselves. Katherine only put down what she was told. They're probably still trying to prep her to eventually answer these questions. The kids too. They won't get a dime from AEG.

Estate pays a monthly lump sum for Katherine for rest of her life. If Katherine loses the case, wouldn't she has to go to estate to ask increase to her "allowance" if she cannot afford to pay lawyers and other costs coming from lost case?

I realize that this lawsuit is being brought by Katherine Jackson, but since AEG "appears" to want information from other family members as well as Mrs. Jackson, I'd also like to hear about the "deals" Joe Jackson AND Leonard Rowe were trying to wheedle out of AEG.

In my opinion, from Day 1, Joe and Rowe wanted in on that AEG deal, they wanted a piece of the action by any means necessary. Maybe Randy Phillips will be able to shed some light on exactly what it was Joe and Rowe wanted.

I could be wrong, but when Joe and Rowe were trying to get in on the AEG deal, the furtherest thing on their collective mind's was the health and/or welfare of Mr. Michael Jackson. All they saw were dollar signs and the ability to push their own agendas!

For them to "try" and act all concerned now, makes me $ick!

I believe this is a contingency suit, like most of these kinds of suits are, and the lawyers get a third
(or 40%+) of any award they win PLUS all their expenses.

There's a motion to compel hearing set for April 24 in Katherine Jackson - AEG lawsuit.

Before trial happens both sides send interrogatories - questions - to the other side to answer and request for documents . AEG is now claiming that Katherine Jackson is not answering their questions and they filed thousands of pages showing all the communications and asking the judge to order Katherine Jackson to answer AEG's questions.

Ivy, since you said noth sides ask for information from each other, please can you tell us also about the questions that were asked from AEG, and if AEG have complied, and if so, what information did they provide?

Katherine is asking more information about

- the names of lawyers who represented Michael at MJ- AEG contract, negotiations
- if Tohme was paid by AEG since 2007
- if AEG paid Michael any advances since January 2009
- if AEG paid Michael's rent
- any communications with Michael about missing rehearsals
- if they told Michael to stop or recommend to take medications
- if they told Michael to stop or recommend to see a doctor
- if they knew Murray bought Propofol
- if they compensated Murray
- about June 18 meeting

Katherine is asking AEG to provide the following documents

- any insurance policies on Michael in regards to TII
- documents about TII
- AEG's communications with Murray (such as emails)
- agreements between AEG - MJ and AEG - Murray
- TII revenue expectations
- documents about TII schedule change including expenses and/or profits
- documents about the people AEG hired to work for Michael such as security guards, drivers, assistants, lawyers, medical doctors and so on.
- any documents about Michael's health
- any documents about Murray's medical treatment of Michael (good luck finding that)
- any documents about Tohme and Denis Hawk including communications and any payments
- documents about Murray's medical requests
- visitor logs / security logs for Michael's Carolwood residence for months of May and June 2009.

AEG says they have identified 3.5 million documents that are potentially responsive for Katherine's requests. They were going to give them to Katherine in January after a protective order - to seal them as confidential- was issued from by judge.

In the recent documents it's also mentioned that Gongaware and Phillips would sit for depositions in April - May and then the rest of AEG employees will be deposed by Katherine's lawyers.

I don't feel sorry for her. KJ is another person who is not a porcelain doll. She may drop dead from old age but make no mistake about the fact of what her actions have done and are doing. KJ is in control and I hate the power she had over Michael and now his children.

When I read this the bad future from A Christmas Carol comes to mind. The future where Scrooge dies alone and people loots his house while his body still lies in bed. This is pretty much what the family did to Michael and it makes me sick just thinking about it.
