dont feel old you guys are lucky, i could barely spell HIStory when it came out you have precious memories :)

Very true. I was 15 when I bought HIStory. I bought it with my birthday money  It was pretty expensive back then because double discs weren't as common (I think it was like $35-$40). It was my first MJ album and I was getting the best of both worlds. I was in love with Scream and I got all of his older stuff that I grew up with and loved to go with it. It wasn't until I was 21 and got my credit card that I got all of Michael's other albums (OTW-Dangerous, had forgotten about BOTDF), and then i got Invincible and Number Ones the day they came out.

:D YAy!!

I wanna write one too:D..but not on the home computer..:shifty:

I'd love to wirte one but I'm just no good :( My imagination is uh...very vivid but it's really hard to form them into actual words. It's just not a talent that I possess.

Thanks:D

I bought TII but haven't bought the TII 2 disc special edition which I really want now.

Well, I'm sorry to report that I think the Special Edition blows major chunks. The only good featurette on the bonus disc is the Unfinished Rehearsals. The rest is all about the dancers, band, and vocalists. There's just not more Michael like I had hoped. I like the black packaging though. Still waiting on my blu-ray. Hopefully it won't disappoint.

 I just checked amazon and it's about $50!...at Walmart it's only $30. Usually Amazon is so much cheaper!

That's because the one on Amazon isn't really sold by Amazon, it's being offered by a seller through Amazon Marketplace, which is kinda like eBay. I don't know why the heck people have to be jackasses and offer it at such an outrageous price when people can just buy it in the store.

Aw well you could try it. ;)

Really? Well thank you for telling me that. If other fans don't like it than I won't bother buying it. I just want more Michael and don't really care about the other dancers.

Yeah I found that out. Thought it was pretty harsh but people want money and will do anything to get it.

I think the only reason why I bought the special edition was because I didn't want to wait until i got my bluray from amazon to watch TII, I wanna see it now! I'm gonna watch it later tonight! I'm super pumped!

:juggling:

So bored!
I want to start writing the story idea I have but I'm using my brother's computer and I have to reach to get to the keyboard so it might be a bit harder.

 I'm listening to some music and just searching random things on the thread when I hear a jingle...(for MSN when someone talks to you.) I look down to see it's an old friend from high school that I've talked to a little bit but not a lot. I click on the conversation box and it comes up "Let's go on a date!"

My reaction?

lol hello to you too

Sorry but it's not something you want to start a conversation with when you haven't talked to the person in a while.

eeeeek...ya sorta weird..

eeeeek...ya sorta weird..

He does it every time too!

I just brush it off and than he doesn't say anything. I'm not interested in the guy..as friends yes but nothing more. He liked us..my friends and I back in high school but we never liked him as more than a friend. I stayed friends with him while the others left him.

I had the same type of thing happen to me...I went to nursing school with this one guy...Keep in mind i've been with my bf for a LONG time. ANyways, I went to school with this one guy, and he was seeing this girl at the time, and we would talk on MSN a lot for school projects and what not...And, he'd ask me EVERY single time, "so are you engaged yet?" and it was like, over and over again....Even when he got engaged himself, he STILL always asked me...I'd get quite annoyed, actually...

I would go buy it from Walmart but ...I would have to drive up there...my Dad would tell me I couldn't. He never lets me get Michael Jackson stuff so when I do get stuff I have to hide it from him.

I know the feeling  ... me and my dad are music lovers and me listen to music kinda loud :D ... once our neighbour came to tell us to turn the volume  ...
but my mom  ... when we buy a new CD or DVD she says: 'again?!?' ... and she always leaves the room when we listen to music  ...

I didn't even know about the special edition till today

I also hadn't known about the SE :( ... it's only on DVD right? ('cause I told my uncle to buy me the Blu-ray disc) ...

oh and I have a question... I would like to post pics of me wearing my MJ T-shirts  (oh well... after I buy the second one which I talked about in the previus post :D ) ... where is the right section to post them? :)

I got TII. :D I was watching the Billie Jean part and my mom came in the room and started dancing and doing the crotch grab. She doesn't seem embarrassed to do that at all. Then the slow-mo crotch grab came on and she's like "oh, he slowed it down." I don't know how she didn't notice that before. She saw the movie with me twice. I said "yeah, slow-mo." :naughty:

Also the other day my mom was asking me to look up something on the internet for her. "The Lady In My Life" was on and she started dancing. I couldn't focus on what I was doing because she was making me laugh :giggle:

I also made this

The only two people in my family that really understand my obsession with Michael are 2 of my brothers. One of them will actually come in and wake me up if there's something going on TV about Michael. He did that this morning actually:lol:

The other brother gets annoyed at times but his favorite songs of Michael's are Billie Jean and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough. He has those two on his music list and on his iPod. He's not a fan though, he just likes those two songs. When I start talking about Michael he will do his little impersonation of him or if he has a question on Michael he'll ask me. I remember he came to ask me ... so is it true that Michael Jackson and Kobe Bryant were good friends? He's a HUGE fan of Kobe Bryant and since he was at the memorial he wanted to know. He's also a huge fan of the movie Blade which has Wesley Snipes playing the main character. So one day when I was looking through some pictures from the Bad film I told him that Wesley Snipes was in it. He said pfff no he didn't! lol I made him come to the screen and I say yeah..look! :lmao: The look on his face was priceless I gotta tell ya.

I don't know where you would on this part of the forum but there's a thread specifically for member pictures in the fanart section. You could try posting them there. ;)

All the talk of how old you were when you got MJ's cds ...has made me feel old which i dont usually feel ...but you all made me think back to the day i ran to the music store to buy my thriller vinyl than saving up babysitting money to buy my beat it jacket etc etc oooh the 80's were an AWESOME TIME!! so in that i'm very thankful for being the age i am ...was a pleasure and to me an honour to grow up always having MJ in my life i can still remember sittin in my sisters room admiring her pictures of the Jackson 5 ...loss of fingers was the punishment if i dare touch

sorry for babbling perhaps its an old age thing :cheeky: ...i'll now hobble my old self to bed

it's cool that you have someone close in your family to share your passion with :) ... lol @ when you told yo' bro that Wesley Snipes is in Bad  ...
you know unfortunately (I say) I'm an only child... I wish my cousin was my sis :( ... we get along so well... she lives in another city and we don't see each other very often... and we are together we are so happy :D ... she also likes Michael :D ... better said, I think I listened to his songs all day long while she was around last summer it was impossible for her to not catch the "Michael fever" ... oh and she had even drawn me a Michael portrait for Christmas :wild: ... it's OUTSTANDING :D ... she's so sweet and caring  ... I miss her :( ...
I don't konw if I should say this or not (I haven't asked my cousin if it's ok to share it with others) ... oh well, here it goes anyway  ... me and my cousin started to play a game with Michael :giggle: ... you know, we don't have a Michael doll so we made one out of Geomag (here's a link if u don't know what these are: http://www.geomagworld.com/) ... and we also made Tatiana out of Geomag... and we pretend they're together  ... and you know we pretend she's also a dancer at his concerts... and the kids come at Neverland, he records albums, he goes at award shows, concerts, tours, interviews etc... it's really fun :D ... and we play a lot... actually we can't get enough :wild: ... everytime we see each other we continue our game :D ...
