I'm trying the risotto tonight as I had leftovers yesterday that I could not in all conscince (and money wise) throw them away. However while making it, I was talking on the phone and cut my thumb. Silly me :no:

Awww, thank you Seven :huggy: I'm feeling tons better. The gums from where my teeth were pulled are still a tad sensitive and weird but it's still getting better and better with each passing day. And I get to go back next week for fillings, yippy skip! :mello:

Awww, sorry to hear about your themb. but I'm sure the risotto will be well worth it :) And I have this really yummy sounding recipe for fried risotto balls with any leftovers you might have. Unfortunately I haven't tried it yet but it's got a lot of great reviews http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/arancini-di-riso-recipe/index.html It has a risotto recipe within that recipe but you can use any kind of risotto you've made :)

Moonwalk is an awesome book. I don't understand why it's been out of print for so long. I honestly didn't even know he wrote an autobiography until after he died :bugeyed: I felt even closer to him after reading it :wub: So nice to read about his life in his own words and not through a third party. It's too bad he didn't get to write a follow-up book.

I really thought the special features were going to be hard on me but they surprisingly weren't. that's not to say I didn't watch them with a heavy heart though :(:heart:

i LOVE the book.
the way he wrote it is so nice... it's like you hear him telling you the story.

you can feel his pain, his laughter, his emotion :wub:
best book i've ever read.

Thanks for the link. The risotto was great but WAY too rich. I'll remake it using my own portions this time.

Hope your gums/teeth are better soon.

I've listened to the E.T. Storybook and he's such a wonderful narrator. His kids were so lucky their daddy was such a great storyteller :wub:

Grrrrr does Michael have to made into a joke in all these movies?

I just saw a preview for a new movie, about these guys who time travel through a hot tub. Yeah.. sounds really stupid lol but most "new" movies now a days are. Well to see if they really time traveled they asked a girl "What color is Michael Jackson?" ... :rant: Stupid people!

Ok rant done. . . -_-

I saw that preview too and it put me off wanting to see the movie. :mello:
