Because the Japanese are real music fans and are very loyal to acts, which is why a lot of old groups/singers (especially soul & funk groups) that are forgotten elsewhere can tour there and make a lot of money. Japan also carry a lot of obscure albums that have been long out of print in the western world.

Yea... I really really respect that.

I've noticed that they respect the blues and soul, funk and old-school music more than America... They also have higher respect for old artists...

I don't care where it comes out, it exists and now I finally get some high quality copies of my fave performances.

There's even some newer Japanese groups there like Soil and PIMP Sessions that performs old style funk & jazz. There is one group that I can't think of the name right now that does JB's (James Brown's band) type grooves.

Well, Jeez! Amazing! I'm sure it'll be released in the US in a little while. This is truly awesome. =)

well I hope its better than the copy I have bootleg back years ago.. lol!!

WOW thank'you for the information.. finally a new DVD that looks great!
