Misconceptions of Michael - Gay or Not Gay

mjface.gif

LOL!!! :D:D His male gay fans might have wanted it, but Mike just wans't interested! You know, either way, I still wouldnt have had a chance with him, so I would not care whether he was gay or straight or bi for that matter. Imo he was straight but very religious. And I think he was less religious later in life, hence the 'I'll give you more then a hug' comment :D (that was at the invincible signing I think). thats just what I think.

Watching this make me cringe! First, that doesnt look like MJ & 2. it doesnt seem like MJ would react that way at all! Unless he was having a bad day or was in a bad mood ... which kinnda looks to me like he was anyway....

the "I'll give you more than a hug" is from Living with Michael Jackson when Michael is in Germany... Gahh I would've given him more than a hug any day

thaanks Em!!

*runs on youtube to find it*

i'm offended that any one would be offended for being called gay. i'm gay and i would not be offended if someone called me straight. i'd just say i'm not. and keep it moving. I love Janet's response better. "It would be offensive to all my gay friends and fans for me to say I mind being called gay , so no i don't mind being called gay."

well i'm glad that MJ was not gay because that sure would be a waste of a magicstick if he was....;) (yes I said it again)

I never associated Michael with being a homosexual. I just never ever thought of him that way. He never come across as being gay.

Ditto.

Though it makes me laugh that some people even considered if he was. I bet he would probably crack up at the thought too but then he was probably used to similar rumors as much as he was used to hearing that he was an alien.

Please, pleasee, you have to tell me when of if he ever said that, it's not the first time I hear it, and I'm really curious :)

If the link doesn't work just find "Michael Jackson Giving Some Love to the Fans" on youtube. It's at the very beginning where he says "I'll give you more than a hug"

Of course he wasn't gay, I never doubted that for a second! And even if he was, I wouldn't love him any less!

Oh God you are so right.......Michael was far to much of a flirt to be gay...he totally loved the girls...

Thank you! I just feel so bad! He was so damn shy and reserved.. but as he stated on Oprah interview in 92, hes a gentleman!!

UNTIL THE LIES STOP BEING SPREAD is when I will stop, defending Him..period..

What I personally think, and I think people sometimes forget..is this..

That it was IMPORTANT to MICHAEL!!

That people listen to HIM!! And know the TRUTH !!

It hurt Him very much what His fans thought and especially the Fans that were children.

It was the media that made this an issue, not US..And we ALL feel the same way about them and their treatment of Him.

And the best part is it..it will not change how much I am totally in Michael Jackson love with you ALL..

I heard about about this rumor, that has been hunting Michael Jackson since the J5 era when some media noticed how different he acted from his bros. So this isn't a new rumor that just happened.

I don't believe he's gay though.

I think it´s just like Michael used to think about this issue. Maybe if he had become strongly mad about being called gay, people wouldn´t doubt so bad that he was not. But he prefered to let it go, even that ppl insisted in treating him like a gay. He was very respectful with his homo fans. Of course he didn´t like people doubting of his words, cause he said he was straight many times publicly and yet they continued to insist in it. But, as far as possible, I guess he tried not to keep bothered with it, whether what really matters is what he knows he is, and not what ppl think he is.

Michael Jackson was not gay.
But unfortunately his look, his voice, his talent he was dancer and all, that makes people to say a man is gay.

And if you ask me, no matter the way he looks, his female face, he was very manly. He seemed to be respectful with women:wub: and a gentleman
I love that, really.

But well.
I haven´t read any MJ biography, I only know him since the early 80s and I have never seen any clue, or gossip, to think he was gay.
The only thing I noticed in MJ since the 80s is that he might be just not interested in sex.

He seemed to me he loved women, yes, but he was just shy or afraid to start a sexual affair. Maybe he was just too forced to.
And it happens a lot.

And that was the point on why people started the misunderstandings, becoz he was a man, and a man with no sexual affairs was a scandal enough to people, this man who was a mega star with lots of women and groupies wanting sex with him, he has to be gay or pedophile!!:::

They couldn´t blame him for being gay becoz they just couldn´t get any evidence or excuse for that, but they did had excuses to blame him as pedophile.

Then he married Lisa Marie, he probably was in love, yes, but for us at that moment it seemed like desperate or forced fact for him to stop people talking wrong about his sexuality.

That was my vision through all these years.
Anywayz, how can we know.

But he seemed to be a unique guy... Probably too unrealistic to be true...
Ok I am sad!

the "I'll give you more than a hug" is from Living with Michael Jackson when Michael is in Germany... Gahh I would've given him more than a hug any day

Me too :D

so your saying that just because a man : 1. dances 2. shy around girls. 3. romantic at heart / gentleman 4. doesnt do the strip club scene- all make a guy gay???

That makes no sense to me. Ppl are so judgemental and narrowminded.

what a waste of a magicstick if he was.

He wasn't. If he was it wouldn't matter (I would be crushed though, since he is the love of my life) I still would love him the same.

I am celibate as well and have no desire to have sex, but I still love men to the fullest. I am not married and I am aware of the moral and health risk associated with casual sex and prefer not to partake in it. I think this is how Mike felt about it.

I don't know what to say- congrats.. LOL. i'm trying to say that thats a very personal choice for ppl, & thats a good thing so please dont be offended or take it the wrong way lol. Congrats or good for you...

Subject: Was Michael Homosexual or Heterosexual

In 1979 Tatum O'Neal had persuaded Michael to go to an after party with her and a few friends at the guest house of Rod Stewart's Beverly Hills Home.
Rod Stewart however was not the home at the time.

A lawsuit had been filed regarding reported events that allegedly took place at the same party. According to one published report in the Star Magazine.

Tatum had brought Michael, and a few other friends to the party, including model-novelist Carole Mallory.

According to the assertions of the complaint filed by Carole Mallory in her lawsuit, Alasdair reported that Tatum tried to convince Michael to have sex with her and Carole Mallory. Mallory and O'Neal were supposed to have made a pact that this evening would be "let's bed Jackson night". Mallory reportedly told O'Neal , "Well if you don't want him, I'll take him darling." To which O'Neal said" Even better, why don't we ask him to decide."

"Come to bed with Carole and me," Buchanan reportedly said Tatum said to Michael.

As the others at the party cheered him on, the shy Michael stood up and headed for the bedroom with Tatum and a scantily dressed Mallory. But Buchanan reported that, in the end, Michael refused both of their offers of sex. As a result, he was taunted and embarrassed in front of the other party-goers for the rest of the time he was there.

Michael and Tatum would be seen in public together a few more times after that, but he would be ill at ease. Michael and Tatum's romance lasted a few years before this Hollywood Party and after this party their romance, changed forever irrevokabily.

After this Hollywood party rumors began to spread about Michael Jackson, rumors that he was gay. The story spread like wild fire around the world. Numerous publications cashed in on it and rushed to the presses with headlines.

When a female fan came up to Michael one day and went hysterical asking him if the rumors was true? Was he gay", he responded

"I felt I didn't know who I was at that moment," said Michael. " I told her to tell all her friends that it was just a stupid rumor." It's disgusting to me that people think I'm gay," he said. "How aweful!"

Michael has never gotten used to the stories that he secretly leads a gay life, and he is always very upset whenever confronted with a question about his sexuality.

"Are you or are you NOT gay?" one reporter asked him point-blank in 1979.

"No, I am not gay," Michael snapped, "I am not a homosexual. Not at all. People make up stories about me being gay because they have nothing better else to do. I'm not going to let it get to me," he continued. " I'm not going to have a nervous breakdown because people think I am having sex with other men. I don't and that's that. If I let this get to me, it will only show how cheap I am. I know I have alot of gay Fans, and I don't mind that. That's their life and this is mine. You can print that," he told the writer. "What is it about me that makes people think I'm gay?' The journalist, shrugged his shoulders.

Michael continued," Is it my voice? Is it because I have this soft voice? All of us in the family have soft voices. Or is it because I don't have alot of girlfriends? I just don't understand it."

By the time Michael was a teenager, he had been trained to live his life a certain way, as one of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He would not dare break that conformity.

He was too fearful as well. Michael knew that in any relationship he had, he ran the very high risk of the other person's reporting to a newspaper or magazine that would pay astronomical sums for such a story-especially if it were a sensational one. Ever practical where his work is concerned, Michael must have been aware that such rumors could eventually damage his career.

"When I first heard the rumors that he was gay, I thought I would go crazy,' Katerine Jackson once said. "He's my son and I know the truth. He knows the truth too. We both talked about it and cried about it. Michael was very hurt by the rumors. He is NOT gay. It's against our religion, and my son is like me that way, very religious."

During a break in a vocal lesson with his vocal coach Seth riggs said to him, "You know, everybody thinks you're gay." Michael nodded his head and told Riggs this story:

-A tall blonde, good looking fellow came up to Michael one day and said, "Gee, Michael I think you are wonderful. I sure would like to go to bed with you." Michael glared at him and asked, When's the last time you read the Bible? The blonde said nothing. "You know, you should really read it, because there is some real information in there about homosexuality."

The fellow studied michael for a moment and said sarcastically, "Sure, I guess if I had been a girl, it would be different. Then you'd have sex with me." "No, I wouldn't," Michael said. "There are some very direct words in the Bible about that too.' Michael was a firm believer in "No pre-marital sex, ever.

Most people who accompanied Michael Jackson on his Bad tour recall how generous Michael was to children who wanted to see him perform. At every concert stop on his bad tour, he would set aside a portion of tickets for the underpriviledged youngsters who would otherwise would be unable to attend his shows. All the royalties from his number one single "Man in the Mirror" were donated to Camp Good Times, a charity for menatlly ill patients in Los Angeles. Little notice is ever given to Michael's charitable work, mostly because Michael does not want to bring any undue attention to it.

Though many of Michael's good deeds go unnoticed, the rest of his life recieves ample attention.

While on stage at Madison Square Gardens, Michael shared a kiss with model Tatiana Thumbtzen, who appeared in his video "The Way You Make Me Feel." A week later, the photo showed up in the National Enquirer with the headline, "Michael Jackson and Model Fall Head-Over-Heels in Love." The story said that Michael and Tatiana were having an affair(which was not true)..

*****
I have attached a video with an interview with Tatiana Thumbtzen, regarding this incident. Be warned the UK reporter injects so much garbage about Michael, I thought twice about posting it, but I want you to hear what Tatiana has to say, do not listen to an obviously desperate reporter trying to sell her Michael story, for as much cash a she could get (just like exactly what he had to put up with in life) . Also see that Tatiana took it upon herself to put her lips on Michael Jackson in front of his female fans, without invitation and nor was it ever apart of the many rehearsal that they done for the Bad tour together.

The story went on to say " because now Michael was no longer having a romance with makeup artist Karen Faye, that it was over (the two were never romantically involved).

"I don't like this at all. Where is this stuff coming from?" Michael wanted to know. He was exasperated.

Charles Montomery, who wrote the hyperbaric chamber feature story for the National Enquirer as well as The Globe. Said this of Michael, "I do not believe that Michael Jackson is gay. I don't know for a fact, but I know it, just from my experience of covering stories about him for the last decade or so." He also said, "The anecdote is fascinating not so much in itself as for the way details spread after being published in the tabloids. The public does seem to WANT to believe that Michael Jackson is gay, and any story dealing with the POSSIBLITY, is well recieved."

- So I hope that this goes to prove to everyone that Michael Jackson was NEVER GAY, NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN nor WANTED TO BE GAY!!!

What this should go to prove is, that society was always and morbidly obsessed with reading everything that had anything having to do with Michael and the word "Gay". The garbage the tabloids put out made it a joke that it was so easy to play and manipulate the public for fools, because they new it would sell millions of tabloid and magazine trash, and people were oh to happy to believe what they read. Imagine how you would feel if someone was REJECTED by you and then painfully bitterly scorned because they didn't get what they wanted which was YOU,then goes to your school and tells everyone you are really GAY!! The best part everyone believed it, even the girls you really did have sex with, said nothing. But the school newspaper said that you should not be ashamed! And because you were a class act, you didn't call those same woman, to your undisputed DEFENCE!! You were a true gentleman and was not insecure enough to name names with the boys in the locker room. How would you feel? Now magnify that by a million. Everyone believed, or suspected blindly, and unquestioningly about it. Even though you ignored it, hoping it would go way. Then when that didn't work you tried to deny it, again hoping that would stop the idle tongues wagging. What if they didn't believe you anyway?..What then?

Exactly, NOW forget what you heard..everyone knows to believe only half of what you SEE and NONE of what you HEAR and even less of what you READ.. Especially from tabloid rags and the lowest forms of media that could possibly be in the under belly of the world.

Really where do you get your news from?... NEVER and NO WAY and NOT A CHANCE, not even a SLIM one, my friends...Now go ahead have your XXX Rated fantasies about him, I know I have and will continue. I never BELIEVED it for a second. You see because I listen to the people I love and believe them. And Michael spoke to many times to be ignored anymore...PERIOD..

Great post, MJ TinkerBell. I wish all the haters could read this.

People are just not used to real Gentlemen. They wanted him to be a manwhore or gay. He was just a sweet kind man. :)

Never one second have i thought Michael could be gay, it's the laughable media and someone people who simply don't have more braincells, it's all very sad, lol. Their logic is....because he doesn't go walking around all the time with a lady next to him or talk about his private life...he must be gay. It's the opinion of very shortminded people. Very simple people.

Watching this make me cringe! First, that doesnt look like MJ & 2. it doesnt seem like MJ would react that way at all! Unless he was having a bad day or was in a bad mood ... which kinnda looks to me like he was anyway....

Come on now, of course that's Michael. I don't see why this would make you cringe. He clearly wasn't really comfortable with that...i guess fan, acting that way, looking at him like that. I really don't have anything against gay people, but i wouldn't like it neither if a gay friend or just person in general looks at me like that. I know that alotta guys wouldn't really like that.

And just see the humour of it please, his facial expressions are priceless here. It's not like he's disrespecting the guy.

I never heard a rumor that he was gay, never. And I read everything I can about Michael for 27 years now. Only Ian Halperin said Michael was gay.( enough said....)
When Michael was on "Bad" tour I read an article where one dancer talked about having sex with Michael and she said he was wild and a perfect lover. Don"t know if that was true....but it was a very hot story.
But even if Michael was gay, I wouldn"t really mind......my best friend was gay, and everyones sexuality is a private matter.
But Michael loved women....very much so.

I never thought he was gay. I'm gay and I never "wished he was gay"--I just always knew, he loved women, and that was that. It's obvious in his music, his videos, his concerts, his interactions with female fans, and so on.

It's the stupid-ass logic of some people that if a guy doesn't chase after women like crazy, and go out all the time and shit. And in Michael's case,...always walk around with a lady next to him...if he doesn't do that.
Well then....he must be gay. Personally i haven't had any kind of relationship with a woman for longer than a year, these shortminded people would start to think i'm gay then. I hate those kind of people.

I wrote this on my blog because I noticed some people wondering if he was gay, and I'm posting it here since I don't feel like typing it out again!

Michael Jackson was a man. He was not feminine - and no, he was not gay.
The man totally defied typical American conventions of masculinity and sexuality, and people still don’t know how to process someone like him.

Just because a man is slim and not “ripped”, just because he doesn’t objectify women, just because he has a soft speaking voice, just because he’s shy, just because he is pretty, just because he isn’t afraid to be silly and act like a kid, just because he writes lovely songs about healing the world instead of writing about how juicy some bitch’s ass is, just because he doesn’t have a new woman hanging on his shoulder every week — does NOT make him any less of a MAN; does NOT make him feminine.

He stood up for what he believed in - always. Even when what he believed in drew ridicule, scorn, hatred from thousands of people.
He respected everyone, regardless of race, religion, color, gender, sexuality.
He gave thousands upon thousands of dollars to charity without a word to anyone - no bragging, no flaunting. He did it because he cared.
He loved his mother, his kids, his family. He loved and even respected his father after openly admitting to the entire world that he beat him and told him things a father should never tell his son.

And let’s not forget the fact that millions (millions!) of women all over the world lusted after him, fainted for him, would have given anything to be in his presence.

RESPECT, DIGNITY, PRIDE, COMPASSION - he had all of these things in spades.
If that isn’t a real man, then I don’t want a real man.
