MJ @ Grammys....He will NOT Perform, According to Extra

I read in this thread that MJstar was the source for the performance news? If anything that website ever claimed or heard and published ever comes true, I'll eat my hat. That site has the worst reputation of all.

the source is roger friedman. MJ star just picked up on it.
Roger Friedman said he was assured MJ was rehearsing for the Grammys to do a Surprise Performance. No one knows if its true or not and we will NOT know until the Grammys go to air.

There was a thread about it that was closed because it is tabloid ish. We will not know anything until a reliable source says otherwise.
 
As far as I know. MJ Star has never been the origin of any news story. They go around the net finding any MJ news story and report it. Much like most MJ fan sites do. People don't like them because they sometimes not only pick up on the good stories but the bad, slightly tabloid stories too. They also, a few years back, used photoshopped pictures of MJ on their site to go along with their new stories. They got pieces of MJ's face from different photos and different eras and photoshopped them together to make him just look really, really weird. A lot of fans found that offensive or whatever. They also let people say whatever they want in their forums. So fans can say bad stuff about Michael if they want.
 
If I remember correctly, they also made up stories themselves or combining bits and pieces to create stories. And they once claimed to be Michaels official site if I'm not mistaken. But don't pin me on that one.

But back to the Grammy's: still think it would rock the world if he would perform. It's the perfect place and timing to re-introduce himself as an artist. Hope we have a big smoke screen now to prevent any news from leaking...

Grammys are Sunday night USA time... 4pm Monday where i live in north east Australia.. meaning like 37 and a half hours away. :)

You are right i miscalculated :lol: it's about 32 hours and 14 minutes away and counting.
 
SO the TRIBUTE is still on right??


The suprise performance is the tribute.. I am pretty sure of it.. They don't mention it in the Grammy site, the commercial or anything..

This is what makes me think THAT is the suprise performance..


But they never denied having the tribute right? It's still on as we know.. am I correct?
 
I was listening to the radio this afternoon. Heart FM in UK (Leicester) The presenter was saying she looks so forward to the grammy awards and also said that I am so looking forward to seeing Michael Jackson perform live on the show. She said that Justin Timberlake will open the show with Michael Jackson performing after him.

Fingers crossed. Anything could happen!!
 
^^ that would be nice, but radio hosts usually don't know what they talk about.. They just go by what they hear.. They are just people that work AT the radio station, no special insight to what is going on with award shows etc.

Well, apparantly Janet is rehearsing and rumoured to be the surprise performance! Haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if this has already been mentioned!

with Beyonce - that is what is posted on Grammy.com press release

beyonce and tina turner is no surprise, its all over TV here....beyonce talked about it in some interviews as well....

Ehrlich told Access Hollywood that the opening act consists of the biggest star TODAY teamed up with a star from the past that has more number one hits than most.

Now that combination could be a host of people, but I don't think it is Beyonce because although she is big today, Tina Turner was great but did not have a sleugh of number one hits.

I also don't think it is Janet and anyone because although Janet has a sleugh of number ones, who today is gonna grace the stage with her and look as good?

I think whoever it is.....it is two males. And that could mean Justin for TODAY and Prince for the Number One Hits. But Prince is not known for having a bunch of number one hits, is he?

Chris Brown has a throat injury so it is not him.

What if it is Justin Timberlake and Michael? Ewwhh the thought.
 
Whomever it is...whatever the Grammys is up to...just in case it is our man...put a blank tape in your VCR's.

And thennnnnn...if it's not our man, you can always toss the tape, right? Hey, you can record over it too! lol
