Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

"It seems unlikely that someone would pay off back taxes, only to let the ranch go up for auction a few weeks later," said the real estate source.
Jackson has not lived at Neverland since June 2005, after a Santa Barbara County jury found him not guilty of child molestation charges.

Exactly!!!

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Well, that would confirm what I think, and that's that Michael doesn't want to lose the ranch. Like I said, he may not want to live there, but I don't think he wants to get rid of it. I hope he finds a way to pay off the $24.5 million. I'm sure he can find a lender. Thanks for posting that.

And Michael may have lived at Neverland during the trial, but that was only because it was the closest property to the court house he could stay at.

great! i'm sure he will work this out. all he needs is a new loan which is what he seems to be getting. God bless you michael

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

This new new article confirms what I told yall earlier. Michael is refinancing and the county is just going through their usual routine of filing the necessary paperwork like they always do. No special treatment to Michael.

And like the last part of the article says, Michael must want his property if he is paying the taxes on it.

I doubt very seriously if Michael does not want his property and I look for him to do everything in his power to keep it.

Neverland is Michael Jackson and Michael Jackson is Neverland. Michael loves his creation and his creation is rightfully belongs to his children....P, P and B. They are the only ones that should inherit it. That's my take.

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

I just find it so amusing that a few people on here are acting as if they are personal assistants to Michael or somehow experts on his personal and financial life. It's cute.

But come on people, you know less than you think.

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

SONY is the largest music company.. that's how they have the money.. I am not saying that michael does not have money.. He does.. But SONY.. just never mind.. lol!

:lol:that's how silly i think this thread is

everybody knows nothing about this subject.

Now i hope several fans can rest easy. MJ is taking care of his business, so no need to trip.

It's also really silly to pass off every negative article as a mass conspiracy whenever Michael's new album is in the works. Obviously it's a very touchy subject for some people but I sometimes wonder if people look further than the title when making up their mind if it's truthful or not.

Like some responsible people here, you can look into the facts of the article further than "Santa Barbara is out to get Michael" if it's presented as negative.

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Wow, this has become a giant tabloid thread

Spectulation everywhere.

exactly:)...i think some may get a pleasure out of seeing this back and forth silliness among fans

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Isn't it a s simple as this, If Michael wants to keep Neverland he will do what he needs to do to keep it... If not then maybe he doesn't want it, If so that's his wishes right? :)

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

I remember this same thread months ago...and here we are talking about it again, the media must be running low on stories if this is news lol

If it were confirming the auction of Neverland, I might be interested but the fact is none of us, even the media dont know what is going on with Michaels finances, this could be getting sorted as we speak so until they say his former home is going up for auction, the subject doesnt interest me in the least.

I read the same reports months ago, and the same fan discussion...and Raymone released a statement regarding it...I wish we could get out the same tiresome media cycle.

the hard evidence was out there about the d.a. and stuff.. you saw the trial.

nobody on this forum is better than everybody else...it's all just one big silly back and forth thing.

i agree. i guess when too much time goes by and there's nothing to do..these repeat threads(and 'news' stories) ensue...

This is why you can't run with anything that comes from anywheres in the media, especially from RF. Even if they have DOCUMENTATION!

And it aint no coincedence that this mess is being brought to the forefront by the media at this time. At a time when they should be talking about the success of T25 and the upcoming new material. But no, they want to put something negative out there to distract from the success that Michael is having. We know the truth. We know how they roll. Michael even knows how they roll.

Ah, I don't think you can post that article.

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Personally I think Michael should just do away with Neverland. For the last decade, it's been nothing but controversy after controversy in regards to it. Michael hasn't been living there since the trial ended, he's either been living abroad in foreign lands, or looking for a new home in Las Vegas. I say get all your valuables out of the house by the due date and let them have it.

Michael needs a clean break and this is the time to do it. Get rid of the animals, get rid of the amusement park and start a fresh clean life.

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Oh God, I hope Michael never takes your advise and keep his Neverland.

Rockstar this is a final warning. do not place roger friedman articles on this board. I know many of you are going to say, "Well, isn't this story from RF?" The simple answer is we're using the Reuters story and official court documents. End of story!

Well MJ is known as a contraversial popstar. Would you suggest that he do away with himself too? Joe did not raise no coward for a son. Michael Joseph Jackson will not bow to intimidation. 'he ain't scared a no sheet'.:punk:

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

 I am not surprised this is the thread that will stay at the top of the boards for days to come. Come on guys, like the rules say, we shouldn't be speaking about his financial problems, or his beautiful house  Well, we can talk about the house. But not the man's choices, and financial issues. We should just leave Michael alone, because he is the man that gave us all of his beautiful music for us to love. And as fans, we should respect his privacy.

We are depriving him of what we always ask for him to have, privacy. HE MADE A SONG ABOUT IT FOR LORD'S SAKE! Well, multiple songs :toofunny: So, I really think this thread should just be closed.

P.S.
Thanks for the wonderful experience here Admins, I just wanted to say that since I never aknowledge your great work here! :)

I agree with everything in this post.

It's pretty sad that bad news is so attractive to so many.

It really is. When Thriller 25 became such a quick-seller, it didn't receive as much as the attention this thread has. :(

michael will Save Neverland

Michael Jackson will avoid foreclosure on his Neverland Ranch property with a new loan, a Jackson insider told CNN Wednesday. Documents show that Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, California, is scheduled for a public auction on March 19 at Santa Barbara’s downtown courthouse. But the Jackson source said that won’t happen.

“Michael Jackson’s ranch is not going to be auctioned off at the courthouse,” the Jackson insider said. “The financing is all being worked out. There are plenty of lenders willing to work with him. The real estate market is very bad right now and Jackson is being affected just like many other Americans,” the source said.
