OK GUYS!!!

Firstly, I just want to apologise for taking so long to get back to you on this event.
With the origional event being cancelled at short notice, i've been trying to rearrange something for us to do or a place for us to go. But all the venues i've been looking at getting have not worked out!
So, I have had put those ideas aside, and have come up with a brand new plan........

We will go to.......

MADAME TUSSAUDS!!!

Here they have a wax model of Michael Jackson and a section called 'Chamber of Horrors' with encludes the optional 'SCREAM' experience within, for those who want to take the the intensity up a notch!

I think you'll agree that makes a pretty good "Thrillerween" !!!

Please see the first post of this thread where I will post all information inculding ticket prices and offers, website links, meeting places and times and plans for the rest of the day!

Sounds good, me and Motsey will join you for the evening cos we can't get into London until about 6 or maybe a little before. It's a shame we couldn't get there earlier, I could have probably got you all into Madame Tussauds for free (my sister in law is a manager of the tussauds company) on special staff dream ticket. But 2 for 1 is not bad at all, and hope you guys enjoy it and look forward to seeing you in the evening :)

Near to our accomidation so its cheaper to get home - maybe even walking distance?

Spoons is cheap and cheerful - money goes a little further here!

Change of plan for me and my gf, I will be finishing work at 2.30 and she will be meeting me there so will can leave straight away instead of me going to our place first - should get into London about 3.30-4
I voted slug and lettuce as should be a better atmosphere but quiet enough to chat in there but most places will be really busy around there on a Saturday

I know most people don't like it nut I hope other non mjjc fans will be about as well as they bring a different dimention to things sometime and can be fun

Actually I have changed my mind. Spoons is cheaper but its a bit skanky although the one in Marble Arch is lovely. I prefer Slug and Lettuces to Spoons as yes its a tad more expensive but it is nicer and easier to talk to people.
 
Aaaaaw, I'm in Londen the 27th untill the 29th but I printed the 2for1 tickets anyway.

I have one question: what's "national rail" ? Is that the standard London underground?

Does anybody know what's the best time of the day to go to MT?
Last time I was in London (juli), there was a superlong line across the street and down another street!

National Rail is the nationwide railways. The underground is tfl (Transport For London)

Think me and Mots will probably be meeting you outside madame tussauds as you come out.....

Can I be a pain Becca and ask you for a contact number for you in case we can't find you? I do have Stephens but safety in numbers and all that....his might run out of battery, go out of signal, get stolen etc etc lol.

As much as I do love the o2 we'd have to get the last tube at latest 23.40 and remember what happened last time we said we'd leave early to get the tube-we were kicked out at 1.30am, so maybe the St Mary's Axe one might be more convinient. But I'm not fussed! But the o2 is our haunt, argh!!!!! So many decisions!
