Q: Please ,can you tell me if Michael always have sad eyes?In "This is it", i saw this, sadness in his eyes ... i'm wrong?

- He was sad alot.

- Now I said he was sad alot, but there were many times he laughed until it hurt. He laughed so loud while watching a movie and ppl were saying "dude shut up" they didnt know it was MJ.

Great Q & A. This is a book I'm looking forward to. It feels a little uncomfortable learning these little things about Michael but it's also fun and I like getting to understand him more as a person and not just the "superstar".
 
I am excited for this book! He seems very sincere and really cared about MJ and kids :)

They do not need to do this. Just go ahead and do it. Everyone is tired of knowing that the Halperian is not reliable that just talks bullshit and I can imagine how this will be such movie. :smilerolleyes:

What I feel is that they do not really know how to get started on this book. :doh:

Plus Halperians movie has to be approved from MJs estate being Ian is using MJs own personal footage. So it has to be positive.
 
If you read Halperin's book (unfortunately I did), the claims about MJ's sexual orientation was based on his time at Vegas. Halperin also claims that during that time he got a job and was able to be around MJ and got insider info etc etc.

As these bodyguards was working for MJ at that time , they want to debunk him. That's why.

Ps: when did Halperin said that he was using MJ's own personal footage? I thought that he said he infiltrated he was inside his camp and shot the footage himself - if any.

I dont have the time to find it right now as Im about to go out but there were several reports stating that Halperin got the Estates approval because of footage from Michael's camp.

The bodyguards dont have to refute what Ian says. He said the worst of it in his book so why dont they respond to that??:scratch:

They said that they know Halperin is going to say alot of things that were inaccurate and they want to directly address those things since they were there and he was not.

I think Halperin is making things up. He said he was going to show MJ dressing up as a woman and doing things that he said he had proof of. In the book he mentions things. He said the movie will paint a clear picture and will have proof. So maybe the guards want to see the specific "proof" to be able to dispel things. Instead of addressing vague mentionings Ian has in his book.

It's that simple. :doh: Why do not they read the book Halperin? :scratch:If the securities are fans of MJ, they can already be sure that the movie will be 100% bullshit and will be based on what is in the book.

LOL just the other day I was thinking "maybe the only thing Michael can't do is cook" and there he was cooking for his children, what a great father! I love him so much!

Now while i was reading the thread i was thinking "ok, maybe the only thing he can't do is kick someone's ass", but he was into martial arts so... i guess there is nothing he can't do :p
 
Uh some of you don't really believe Ian got the estate permission for his whatever is doing do you? I guess now is a good time to remind you the estate can't do anything without alerting Katherine and if she does not approve they have to go to the judge. Now do you really thing she would approve of some jerk calling her say gay and a drug addict?

Actually the report I read said this doco was going to be positive, which it would have to be if Halperin wants to use the footage he is asking for.

Also, Movieweb is reporting that Ian Halperin, author of “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson”, is bringing his 88-minute documentary Gone Too Soon to the bigscreen. The documentary was created using 300 hours of footage shot from inside Michael Jackson’s camp. The film is set for a theatrical run in Canada and France, via Transit Medias, on June 25 — the first anniversary of Jackson’s death. In addition to the previously recorded video, the doc is said to include interviews with Jackson’s personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, protective agent and attorney.

Author-filmmaker Ian Halperin ("Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson") is bringing his 88-minute documentary Gone Too Soon to the bigscreen, which is culled from 300 hours of footage shot inside Michael Jackson's camp.

According to Variety, the film is set for a theatrical run in Canada and France, via Transit Medias, on June 25 -- the first anniversary of Jackson's death.

Footage in Gone Too Soon includes video and audio of Jackson shot before his death. It also includes interviews with Jackson's personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, protective agent and attorney.

According to the filmmakers, Jackson family members were not involved but are aware of the film. Family attorney Brian Oxman is among the interviewees.

Despite its depiction of the more scandalous aspects of Jackson's life, Halperin called the movie "a balanced tribute to the King of Pop."

"This is the film Michael and his fans deserve," Halperin said.

wow Michael cooking...now thats a nice sight. Never thought that about him...I wonder if he wore an apron...hehe. I can just imagine...sooooooo cute..and doing some moonwalkning from the kitchen sink to the table with a food plate on his hand. awwwww my baby.
 
My take on Ian Halperin:

He is a tabloid journalist and his book is full of BS. He promotes himself that he "predicted" Michael's death 6 months before and that "prediction" is why the fools within the media give him credit. Plus he has great contacts in the media. Sadly nobody asks about his "prediction" the very simple question: how could he "predict" Propfol overdose? Becasue that's why Michael died and he didn't die of the terminal illnesses he claimed he had. Since then it turned out by the autopsy that Michael didn't have terminal illnesses. So that was a lie by Halperin (not surprisingly). He simply got lucky with his "prediction" and he is cashing in on it now big time.

Of course, the part about Michael being gay is another lie. Halperin himself is gay and you have to understand there is a pattern of him in his books claiming about celebrities that they are homosexual. He claimed this not only about Michael, but also about Will Smith, about Angelina Jolie and others. There is a pattern there. Even the stories are similar: Will Smith sneaks out in the middle of the night to meet male prostitutes. Angelina Jolie sneaks out in the middle of the night, dressed as a man, to meet her lesbian lovers. Etc.

The things he claimed about Michael are simply absurd! He even claimed he met Michael in a restaurant in Vegas (yeah, right) and Michael was hitting on him! Oh please! Because Michael would hit on a tabloid journalist (with his kids present) yeah, that's so Michael! (I'm being ironic here.)

So from this I think you already can get an idea about the validity of his claims. He is not even consistent in his claims! Once he claims he adviced Michael to paint his hair blond (as if they had been close friends or something?), then in other place he says once he ALMOST got to Michael through associates. So if they were such buddies that he could give him advices about his hair, why did he have to try to get through to him through others and even then he didn't succeed....

Not only these bodyguards but also Taraborelli and Roger Friedmann pointed out Halperin's book is full of holes and inaccuracies. Both said the gay claims, among others, were ridiculous. Taraborelli also said on his Facebook that in the latest update of his book he will be more than happy to refute Halperin's claims about Michael's sexuality....

You also need to know about Halperin that his "journalistic" career began at the college by lying about others in the college paper. He got sued and he even fleed the country from that lawsuit.

So that's how you should all view Halperin!

IMO in his docu he won't touch the subject of Michael's sexuality (well, that's if he is clever), because by now he realized the gay claims didn't go down well with fans (although the support and credibility he lost with fans because of that may come back from the gay community and mainstream media, who always liked to portray Michael as gay, Idk). IMO he will only focus on the circumstances of his death and the "conspiracy" behind it (he likes conspiracy theories too: for example, he wrote a book on Kurt Cobain's death claiming Cobain didn't commit suicide but got murdered - which is another BS, in my opinion).

But if he wants to push hard this gay thing because of an agenda he has with that, I can see him paying gay people to tell they were Michael's lovers or something. The media does that trick all the time: you don't have evidence? Well, you can still buy and create some....

So all in all I don't think it's a bad thing the bodyguards want to wait and see what this jerk is gonna say and then refute claims in their book when needed.
