Murray Trial- Day 17 - October 25

The character witnesses should be easy.. All Walgren has to ask is 'did dr murray give you an anesthetic at home using an iv drip?' ' did Murray abandon you in a coma to talk on the phone to his girlfriends'? No further questions your honor..

I agree (with Elusive) however, I would've loved to hear what Dr. Adams has to say about Murray, but I guess the defense doesn't wanna take any chances considering Adams is a hostile witness as well.

I really do not understand why televised trials are not aired on free TV or AM/FM radio. Many people do not have access to cable or the internet for many reasons (mine being I am at work from 9 to 5 weekdays). It's not fair. But thanks for giving me the opportunity to complain about that again hehe.

lol... im doing the same thing that you are doing (watching on tv and the stream). it just always bothered me that they cut into it so much. Also from my understanding, when they switched the TVs to digital it couldnt be broadcast over the radio anymore.
 
This is like a puzzle with many disparate pieces that is slowly coming together perhaps not to show us exactly what happened but to show a jury what should have happened, what did not happen and who bears responsibility for it all.
As tedious as some of today's witnesses were, there were those who made Michael come alive as a person, not as a statistic or as the subject of a computer model or the victim of failed CPR. Cherilyn Lee much as I was prepared to dislike her seemed to honestly have tried to help Michael and to regret not being able to do more. And to have cared.
Randy Phillips gave us an insider's look at how the concert series was put together and expressed so much admiration for Michael as an entertainer and as a father. At one point toward the end I thought it wouldn't have taken much for him to put Chernoff in his place. We got a look at the events of 25 June from the perspective of a COO who had virtually nothing to do with anything except hearing a mother's grief when being told of the death of her son.
All in all, I think some of these defense witnesses brought home even more emphatically how needless Michael's death was and how horribly wrong he was to trust murray.

Lee said: "Michael said all I need is a doctor to watch me sleep."
Murray couldn't even do that right.

I think that if I were on the jury, today would have moved me even more toward a guilty verdict.

Murray's defense says they have seven witnesses left: 5 character witnesses and 2 experts, incl. Dr. White and another in addiction.

For those asking about Karen Faye as a possible witness, apparently defense couldn't find her to serve a subpoena. #murraytrial
 
^^But I thought Karen got a subpoena long ago.
When is the defense going to present evidence that shows their client is not guilty, or is that left to Dr. White to do? Michael is winning this all the way. Justice for Michael is just around the corner.

Yes, it IS. The defense has entirely unraveled. And now Karen Faye is MISSING? :clapping:(did she find an urgent opportunity in Thailand?)
 
Or maybe the defense dont want her to testify in case she stuffs it up for them! lol
 
They have no evidence that Murray is not guilty because he is.. If Dr White gets on that stand and defends Murray's actions and says that giving propofol at home for sleep is ok and that monitoring is not necessary then he's done as an anesthesiologist. What medical board will support his theory?
 
I thought KF actually got a subpoena already base on what she said recently on twitter. So the defense can't find her today lol. Maybe they should try to find her through twitter lol she twitt all day long yesterday even today I think I saw her twitt to support nurse lee too. So you can get a subpoena and still decide not to show?
 
I want Karen to testify just so the DA can tear her butt a new one. It's pure self-fulfillment on my part, but I so want that to happen.

I too want her to testify so that we can see how much of she said she can repeat under oath and with the threat of perjury.
 
I am not able to follow this trial as much as some of you can so, I just want to say a big thank you to all of you who have been keeping the rest of us aware as to whats going on in that court room.

My mother came in the room while I was watching the trial and said to me that she was sorry but she thinks Murray will get off. I wanted to cry. She doesn't hate Michael or anything like that. I have people around me saying this so i am staying cautious right now because who knows what the jury is thinking.
 
I am afraid Murray will be acquitted also. That has been my fear from the very beginning. I'm so disgusted and angry by this case. And the thought that Murray could still get away with this makes me sick. This is just my opinion.

I know how you feel. I try not to let my mind go either way too much and just wait and see. I feel anxious and nervous a lot.
 
The defense has not provided any conclusive argument yet to refut the Prosecution's case, but with a few more days left, I refuse to get my hopes up :(
 
Hi everyone !

well , I'm not worried about the verdict, I don't see how Murray could walk ...The charge is based on negligence, it's been proved many times already

I'll post updates tonight until the break lunch, I'm not sure I can do it after, since I work early in the morning. On Thursday, I won't be home until the lunch break , at the earliest, so if I can take notes, it will be after rhe lunch break, but maybe not at all . So I will rely on you for updates !
 
she is MIA? How can it be possible if she was served a subpoena already? Isn't she required to testify? And what's this lame excuse of the defense not being able to find her? Search her through her IP on Twitter dammit.

I WANT to see Karen on the stand. She deserves to be on that stand.

I think she is not happy that the Jacksons' civil law suit against AEG is getting ruined in the process of convicting Michael's murderer.

It's Latoya what do you expect? Tweets like this one always remind me why I dislike her so much, at least I'm not one of those excusing their pathetic actions and giving them the benefit of the doubt again and again, only to be disappointed yet again. I've recognized them for what they are.

It's really interesting to see how many Jackson Family members showed up for yesterday's court day when Randy Phillips was taking the stand, yet didn't bother showing up while Shafer and others were fighting the defense and explaining possible scenarios of how Michael could have died. They certainly have their priorities in the right place.

So they are gonna use an addiction witness. hope the pros have theirs ready for rebuttal. then again this could backfire big time. like steinberg said. so the defence have two witnesses left to save their case.
