There was also a little article by Bruce Weber so here it is:
(I will also include the italian version so those who speak italian may translate it for us so that way we may better understand it)

Thriller compie 25 anni.

a New York pochi giorni fa con The King of Pop
(I translated it with the free translation tools on google so it may not sound right) ;)[/b]

A more acurate translation, if I may: :flowers:
Thriller, with more than 104 mil albums sold wideworld, being the biggest selling album of all time, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Uomo Vogue celebrated this event with an exclusive photo session by Bruce Weber, which has already set the Web on fire. The blogs of fans or non-fans are full with voices more or less reliable.
We already anticipated the wait for the first images of Michael Jackson but not up to that point. Therefore, we decided to publish an exlusive anticipation of the cover story for our readers due to issue the 3rd of October.
Herein you'll find the cover and some of the images from the internal service and in addition some information of the testimony of Bruce Weber and the article provided by Roberto Croci about the photoshoot which took place in New York a few days ago with the King of Pop.

Hope it helps :flowers:

This was just such a good move I'm just so proud of him, gosh MJ is so smart! Its also about time he used that body and style to do some modeling. I've been wishing for that. Awesome layout. Can't wait to see the mag!

If I were still in DC I'd be at the news stand on Fl Ave. (hint DC folks) They have EVERYthing!! There's a great one in Georgetown too. Oh I've gotta find it here. Its gonna be grrrrrrrrrrrrreat

This is a fantastic PR move for him and it's WORKING!!!!! He is charged here, it's like BAM!!! Here I am!!! No body can touch him. I love it.

THE KING of Pop - Roberto Croci

"I love you", whispered the King to the soon-to-be Queen, now giving this event an official dilmension. All residents, who were holding their breath, burst of joy, thus announcing the opening of festivities in Vogueland. The King had finally found a brave woman, born with magic in her hands and her soul displaying a blinding energy. As she'd been through a long journey, the little Princess was about to see her ultimate dream get its due corronation; and then, the Magician made her investiture official when he pronounced these words : "A Star is born".[/b]
Who's "the soon-to-be Queen?"

hmm could that be the new album title ?[/b]

I doubt it, looks like the theme of the photoshoot. Standing in the shadow , it's a metaphore. the shadows are the black and white main -and only!?- colors of the photo session...and maybe an interpretation of his own personal life

yeah i guess thats more likely :flowers:

Who's "the soon-to-be Queen?"[/b]
He is referring metaphorically to the woman fashion editor who chose to run the spread on Michael. With the photographers magic a star is born... Michael looks great and her career is enhanced because it is a hit. Michael whispered 'I love you' to her also metaphorically by agreeing to do the spread. The one article (not sure if I saw it here) says she got the idea already last August 22 (do they mean 2006.. or did this all happen very fast? I'm not sure). I am not sure about the referrence to standing in the shadows of love except that he gets love from his fans around the world perhaps including the editor and photographer. I actually think it is meant to encompass all.

Whatever happened to the one pic of MJ doing his 'screaming' pose.. How come no new versions of that have been released.. no High res. no nothin'.. I wonder if it did not make the magazine..

good analogy.

Yes. I think that is a good way to interpret it.

41 pgs already and the magazine hasn't hit yet! Can you imagine when it does what it will be like here and other fan sites??? LARD geebus

They're just previewing a small porition of the photos, they even said that on the GQ site, I'm sure they'll be tons more, don't worry. Michael looks fabulous.

Thankis ^_^

I don't wanna go into details and start a new topic about the pics because there are more to see when they're out but I'm sure we could easily make an elaborate 'thesis' based on the photos because I see it to be thought as a very complex concept.

Please post all information about locations in which L'uomo Vogue will be sold at. If possible please include the country, name of store (ie. newstand, bookstore), and how much it will be. Get as much information as possible to get the most accurate place in getting the magazine. Thank you! :flowers:

I googled www.universalnewsusa.com / www.yelp.com
and found newsstands in New York City (10) and California (2)
that sells the magazine/ I called and they currently have the September issue only/
the October issue should arrive within one to two weeks / unfortunately they do not
ship / Price is $ 15.95/ However, I got the impression from Al's newstand that if an
order was received for a number of copies , they might negotiate on shipping

for new york city locations

In California:

Neighborhood: Beverly Hills
216 S Beverly Dr
