Paris And Prince Have Bodyguards At Their New School!

Filed under: Michael Jackson > Sad Sad

parisprincejacksone__opt1__oPt.jpg

Poor things!

We imagine this transition has been hard enough for them!

Despite Katherine Jackson's protests, Michael Jackson's two oldest children, Prince and Paris, have left their home tutors and instead have opted to start traditional schooling at the The Buckley School in the Valley!

However, the two are reportedly being trailed by two full-time security guards, who monitor their every move and are constantly on the grounds!

According to a source:
"The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids. And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris. This is a huge change for both of them."
Those poor kids! But we applaud them for being so brave!
Hopefully they'll get situated soon enough and the process of making friends will become easier!

Hang in there, guys!

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

dont know if this is true or not.. just hope and pray that school works out fine for them..

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

The kids haven't been in school for ONE week and already the stories are starting...'a source said this'; 'a source said that'. I bet those celebrity gossipers already got janitors, students and probably even some staff on their payroll to see what kind of juicy tidbits they can find and share. Michael knew what he was doing when he had his kids homeschooled.

It's a big adjustment for Prince and Paris; but they're intelligent, well-grounded and they were raised well by their father and I believe they're being raised well by their grandmother and they have a wonderful support system in the Jackson family. They will be fine.

It says here that they began last Wednesday:

Bodyguards Follow Prince and Paris Jackson Around New School

Michael Jackson's two oldest children -- Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12 -- began their studies at a traditional school last Wednesday -- their first experience outside of homeschooling. But before they could hit the books like "normal" kids, Prince and Paris had to first win over their skeptical grandmother, Katherine.

A family member close to the situation tells PopEater that Paris and Prince's legal guardian protested the idea of sending the sheltered kids to school, feeling their father would have disapproved. However, one of Jermaine Jackson's sons stepped in and encouraged Katherine to allow Prince and Paris to move away from homeschooling.

The King of Pop's eldest children are attending The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley and a parent at the school tells PopEater that things are anything but "normal" when the famous kids are there.

Both have full-time bodyguards, who patrol the school's parking lot and accompany the kids from class to class, to their lockers and even watch over them during lunch.

This kind of attention would seem to stifle their ability to fit in and make friends -- two things that are important to young Prince, who was seeking a "social experience" by enrolling at the prestigious school. Sources tell us the Jackson's are the only students at the exclusive school with a full-time security detail.

"The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids," one parent, who has four kids at the school, tells PopEater. "And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris."

TMZ was first to report that the kids were attending school.

Some in the Jackson family are also upset with this situation because they firmly believe sending the kids to school is not something Michael would have wanted. He famously protected his children from the public, and now various family members believe they are vulnerable and exposed to the outside world.

"This is a huge change for both of them," a family source tells PopEater.

The entire family agreed Jackson's youngest child, Blanket, who at 8 years old is reportedly the shyest of the three, is not ready and will stay at home with private tutors.

I will pray that everything is ok with them in school. May God protect them.

They must have been gorgeous with the school uniform.

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

The thought of bodyguards rose in my mind too a few months ago. They SHOULD have bodyguards.

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

I hope everything will be ok for them. They are trying to have a normal life...but that is not going to be easy.
And yes...of course they should have bodyguards.

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

Okay. I just saw a comment on perezhilton.com claiming he/she is a student and this is bullshitt. take it for as it it, either it is true or not.

tajjackson3

The real story that Prince and Paris are doing great in school and making friends, or the fake story about bodyguards following them around. 6 minutes ago via TweetDeck

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

I still dont get how grown people feel like making up lies about a 12 and a 13 year old....This Perez guy ..I find him quite disgusting....we knew it was only a matter of time before this crap started happening. LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE CREEPS!!

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

I wish those kids the best. They are very intelligent and they will make great friends to their peers. Good luck to Michael's little angels. I hope they are treated fairly but normally at school. They are only kids trying to get comfortable in their social surroundings for the first time. I hope nobody gives them a hard time.

Sending out a major love their way.

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

Yeah we already have a french canadian article on the web about the 'fact' that they have difficulties making friends at school because of the bodyguards..

Eurm... they've just started.. can you give them some times to make friends.. MIchael Jackson's kids can be intimidating more than bodyguards....

Re: Paris And Prince: Bodyguards at School

I will pray...... to bless with them for may all your wish come true !

Michael Jackson's kids at school after son begs gran

Michael Jackson's children got their wish to go to "normal" school after Prince Michael begged for a normal education.

Prince, who has always been home-schooled, compiled a dossier on the Los Angeles education system to make his case.

His grandmother Katherine was so impressed that she agreed to let him and sister Paris enrol in the prestigious Buckley School in the LA district of Sherman Oaks.
But the decision has split the family. The singer's brothers Randy and Jermaine say the decision goes against the wishes of Michael, who died suddenly last year.
Katherine's lawyer Adam Streisand told the Sunday Mirror: "Prince asked to go to private school and he got his wish. "Katherine sees how good it will be for him and Paris to go to school with other kids.

"And Buckley is the best. It will equip them with everything they need. Blanket will stay at home for now, but eventually he'll be in with the pack at school."

Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, are now accompanied by two minders on school grounds - and teachers have been given a bizarre list of demands to pass down to other pupils.

The pair started classes when the term began last month. Alumni include socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan and actress Laura Dern.

But some parents of pupils at the $26,000-a-year school are angry that Prince and Paris are shadowed everywhere they go by two bodyguards.

Staff were also given an "intensive prep talk" on how Prince and Paris were to be treated, including a demand that they tell other children not to ask them "anything about their father or other members of their family, including Janet".

SICK of them using these words in relation to the children now.. 'bizarre'.. and trying to make out they are 'normal' now, as appose to 'abnormal' when Michael was here.

LOL....
I really don't get this.
why do you care about this liars at all?
You have at least one direct source (Taaj) saying this is all but lies... so... why taking care about this at all?
whatever.
Might God protect the two kids.

The children are attending the exclusive and private Buckley School, where Jackson himself attended along with other members of the Jackson clan. Their two bodyguards wait outside their classrooms and follow them around the campus.

Family attorney Brian Oxman said Prince and Paris have adapted so well that he predicted the bodyguards would be gone in a matter of weeks. He also dismissed reports that the other Buckley students were lectured never to ask Jackson's children about their family.

"I don't know what the instructions were that the school gave to other kids," he said. "I do know that these kids can handle anything."

The school boasts an elite student population about 770 from kindergarten through high school. Famous graduates include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Cole and Matthew Perry. The tuition for the Jackson kids is nearly $30,000.

"Academics are really important," Oxman said. "But as to social atmosphere -- throwing papers and what not -- listen, these kids have a real good time."

The idea to put the kids in school with other children was Prince's suggestion and was approved by family matriarch Katherine Jackson, the children's legal guardian. The youngest Jackson sibling, 8-year-old Blanket, will continue to be homeschooled for now.

Oxman described Paris as ladylike and more cautious than her older brother.

"He's a very powerful personality and wants to be with kids his own age," Oxman said of Prince. "I get the sense that Prince really likes business. And he likes speaking."

Their father, Oxman said, would be proud.

"If this is what they wanted, he would have approved," he said.

But some of the Jackson clan may not be as supportive of Katherine Jackson's decision to send the children to school.

There are reports that Jermaine, LaToy and Randy Jackson were against the idea, saying that they were too young to end their homeschooling.

The children of the famously reclusive Jackson have been appearing more and more often in public since Jackson's death in June 2009 from an overdose of Propofol, the powerful anesthetic he used to sleep.

They made a public appearance at the Grammys earlier this year and have been frequently photographed on outings and attending karate classes.

oxman is really an attention seeker.

two different stories : oxman and Taj.

I believe that Oxman gets his info from tabloids

I don't know about the rest of the information provided by Oxman to ABC News; but, I do know the following statement is true.
Their father, Oxman said, would be proud.

"If this is what they wanted, he would have approved," he said.

I don't know about the rest of the information provided by Oxman to ABC News; but, I do know the following statement is true.

Untrue. What Michael would have wanted would be to be alive and to be with his children every day of their lives.

Again, Taj has said this isn't true.

ON Twitter:

Question:
@tajjackson3 You said Bodyguards don't follow Prince & Paris but your family lawyer said they do. I'm confused! http://youtu.be/SRMtPgcsjtc

Response:
RT@CyrusPerfection: Since I've been on campus and he hasn't, I might know better :)

^ Brian Oxman is a pest...a cockroach who wont go away

Why are you even paying attention let alone VISITING bullshit sites like Perez Hilton? The guy is a piece of shit, worthless douchebag and has talked crap on Michael plenty of times. Even after his death, DO NOT visit his site..cause you only contribute to the hits on his site. Speaking of hits...that bodyguard of Will.IAM should have hitted him harder..sigh. I hate Perez...such a no good.

What is Perez Hilton doing blogging about Paris and Prince?

That man is a lowlife.

Is like the press and media WANT to purposely complicate Michael's 3 kids lives by making up stuff. That school is well secure so there is no need for them to have body guards anyway. It would be embrassing for Prince and Paris anyway...not even President Obama's daughters have bodyguards inside their school. lol

Besides, Katherine never liked how Michael over protected his kids (The masks, home schooled) as she spoke about it in that NBC interview she did a while ago. The kids wanted to go to school and she saw nothing wrong with that. Blanket's the only one who's not ready yet.

LaToya Speaks About Children In School

this%20is%20it%20news%20thumbnail.jpg
(7-9-2010) It has been reported that several of the Jackson family members were not in favor of Michael's two oldest children, Prince, 13, and Paris, 12, attending private school because they believed Michael would not aprove. Now his older sister, LaToya has spoken out about the issue.

“I think he probably would’ve preferred for them to be homeschooled a little bit longer. Because, you know, he liked to keep his kids secluded, and he liked for them to really know what they know as far as the exposure to the world. I think that’s a bit too soon for them. He wanted them to grow up a bit before that happens."
Her statements come after Brian Oxman, an attorney for Joe Jackson, made comments about how the children were adjusting to their new school situation.
When asked if Michael's youngest child, Blanket, 8, would be attending Buckley in the future, LaToya said, “He will, but not just yet. He’s a bit too young and he said he’s not ready for it yet.”

I am glad they are out and about and in school. They do not need to be sheltered (I think that was some of Michael problem in being sheltered and that was why some people who were leeches were able to get to him). This is a cruel world and you have to be able to deal with the good and bad because you parents is not always going to protect you. So again, I am glad they are going to be dealing with others outside of their circle. It is best to learn now while they are in their teens than to learn when they became an adults.

Michael was just so frightened of the world....god bless him... I love him...

Michael knew that his own kids would question him about why the masks and ect. I remember hearing his emotional speech about his childhood and hoping his kids would understand why he raised them the way he did.

I too am glad the kids are going to school. They have been so sheltered for many years, traveling back and fourth with their dad....no real social friends outside of their enviorment. This is the first time these kids have actually stayed in one place for a long period of time. They wanted to go to school, so that's good for them, but I think we all know if Michael was still here, the kids would continue to be home schooled. I can't picture them going to a regular school if Michael was still with us.

Did Michael shelter them too much? I think so.

Were the masks a little too much? Yes

But Michael did it to protect his kids. He knew how evil the world is. But in the midst of protecting his kids, they really didn't get to make a lot of friends outside Michael's inner circle. Their whole world was their dad, that's it. Michael's death must have crippled all three kids. Knocked them out. Their 'world' was ripped from them. I think Blanket is the one who will bare the scars of his father's death the longest. Not saying Prince and Paris won't, but they seem to want to go out to the world and embrace it. Blanket's seems to me he is nowhere near ready. He didn't want to go on stage for that Grammy thing (thank god he wasn't forced to either) and he was crying openly at the public memorial and the burial memorial. It was Paris consoling him. He also chose to continue home schooling.

I pray for those kids. It's just so sad.
