i hate it when there is a problem in the family, in my early yrs i used to think that the best was to run away from my family but now i just want them to understand & support each other.

I'm hlaf deaf in one ear and 3/4 deaf in the other

So when I get head colds like the one you've got Fujon... I go completely deaf.... that's always scary as I fear I'll lose what little hearing I have .. but then I get better and it all becomes better

I guess thats like anything really.... all bad things happen for an undetermined time... and we can only weather the storm... what doesn't break us only makes us stronger :flowers:

I can idenify with you because since I was a child my dad's mother has always made christmas a chore instead of a beautiful occasion... the good thing was my mums mother always had more than enough christmas spirit to make up for the hell my dads mum created.... the last 5 years though... we haven't had that ... as my grandma passed away from cancer which she battled for 6 months :no:

So now I'm trying to change everything by trying to be like my mums mother was at christmas time :) I buy lotsa pressies and decorate the house and get excited and sing carols at everyone in the hope that my little sillyness will distract people from their usual problems to enjoy the christmas period.

Hopefully next christmas will be a change for you and me Malc :flowers:

I hope your Christmas is not really ruined though and that you'll still be able to enjoy it :flowers: It's true that many people do a lot of good and help others and only get crap in return......
