hey Malc, do you know how to grab a scrren cap from a DVD on a PC? ive tried the print screen button but when i paste the image it moves and shows the video. how do i get just a still image? anyone know
 
Use a good DVD player (PowerDVD/WinDVD) and then click the screen capture function in its menu. You cannot print-screen it because videos work on a Direct X video overlay which sits above the screen that you captured, therefore invisible when you paste it into photoshop.

I had 9 kids walking behind me and my face just went :wtf2 and I turned them around as quickly as possible. It was soooo odd, but now I just can't stop laughing about it :p How's that for random :lol:
