True, Michael always does go for a "different" look. No doubt.
But I don't think MJ's hardcore base is gonna abandon him if he decided for a more "normal" approach. And that was only for one photo shoot J5, NOT part of a new image to launch a new album/era. I swear to god, if Michael tried that Willy Wonka look for his new album, he'd look like a goof trying to attract more attention to himself. Yeah, I'd still buy his album, but in the back of my mind I'd be thinking, "What the f#ck?"
I was dying laughing when I read this. You said exactly what I wanted to say. You were funny. Honest and on point as usual. ^5!
Man, if I see MJ rocking some emo/grudge/drucula nonsense (no offense, J5), I am going off! LOL. Mike cannot be looking like some kind of "freak". I love the man, but that look would turn anyone off.
Michael is a very good looking man and he needs to show his best features (eyes) off. He can wear sunglasses but only if he is outside.
Let me break down what I think his image (look) should be like.
DISCLAIMER: These are my views and my views only. If you agree, great, if you do not, that is great also. Just do not attack me. Alright? Cool.
Hair -
I am all for the curly look. I like his straight hair but lately, it is becoming obvious that his weave/lace front look is getting old. I would love for him to rock his curly hair again. As for the length, hmmm..... I think it should be long like it was during the Dangerous era. That hair was awesome. He can strenghten his hair sometimes and put his hair in a nice, slick ponytail at times. However, most of the time, MJ should rock with curly hair.
Make up -
I am not familiar if eyeliner is tatooed on his eye. I doubt that it is true because it sounds tabloid to me. I think that MJ should get rid of the eyeliner altogether (or try to) or put less eyeliner on. I have no clue why he even rocked eyeliner (too much of it) back in the day. IMO, Karen Faye should have never worked with MJ after the 1990s. No offense to her, but she was starting to make MJ look really "creepy" instead of him looking great. People who believing those tabloid junk about his face because of the way he looked. The woman, Linda Parrish (she did his make up for Ebony and I think the Vogue photo shoots), seems to do a good job with Mike's make up. MJ should wear less make up because lets face it, he is a man, not a woman or a drag queen. LOL. No lipstick. I still cannot believe that he even wore lipstick until it was confirmed. Also, I really do not want anyone on here coming after me stating that he has to wear lipstick because of his skin disorder. There are alternatives to wearing certain things these days so there is really no excuse.
Style -
Roberto Cavilli, Gucci, Versace, Armani, etc. Michael rocked that Sgt. Pepper mess back in the 1980s and it was cool until it got to become a habit. No more of that. As we all know, MJ has his own style so MJ will incoporate his style in what those designers will give him. I can't really think of what kind of style MJ can do because MJ is very verstitle to me and I cannot pin point what is his exact style. I mean, there are desriptions of his style like dramatic, unique, interesting, tacky but nice. However, he does not really have an exact style. I LOVE what MJ was rocking in the Ebony and L'Uomo Vogue photo shoots. The clothing was awesome. I really want MJ to really be more sexy and manily in his latest effort. He was manily and sexy before, but since 50 is the new 30, he can be ten times more aggressive with it. Let's face it, ladies on here, such as myself, I think Michael is very sexy and I am not ashamed to say that I want MJ to really be sexy (but not perverted) this time around. I want Mike to be on covers of magazines showing his sexy side. Man..... do not get me started. I want the shirt almost off with his boxers (or briefs) showing, wearing a wifebeater (black or white) smiling or with his toungue doing something freaky!!! LOL!!! You KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!! HAHAHAHAH!! WHOOO!!! Ok, damn, let me stop. As for a thug look - MJ is not even close to thug. He is gangsta, but the thug thing is for losers. I am just being on the real. MJ can be looking pimp, but it works for him sometimes.
Music -
We all know that MJ is moving on past the trial but I will not be shock if he does sing about it in his songs. I want MJ to be more sensual in his songs (Ok, I need a man!! LOL!) Anyway, I want MJ to be more real about certain things in his music. Like he can sing about him cheating and really break it down. I also want him to talk in his music. I want him to have a real, honest, sincere conversation just to have one. I want him to cuss (not a lot), be funny, talk about his favorite drink, just have fun and be lively. I want him to make songs that are poignant in today's society. Talk about the war and the enviroment. I love the "Heal the World" type of songs and if he wants to talk about the media, as much as I wish he would not, I hope he does because it is always good to just let it out.
Alright, that is my two cents. And I like the picture with MJ and Al Sharpton - I like that style. That is a good style.
