I don't think I have said something rude or inappropriate at all about Michael. I just told my opinion on the topic that came to my mind later, after my first post. I would like to understand what was the situation at that concert, and I really feel sorry for Michael. You went off topic by telling me these things and you repeat yourself in your other posts. Sorry...

Btw, are you a moderator here? As I can see there weren't any actions regarding my posts in this thread.

Um, well in case you haven't noticed the title of this thread is "What do u think Michael's worse concert is"? So we're all right on topic, but I don't think that you should tell Kinga or anyone else what they should or shouldn't post. No one here is being rude about Michael, we are just being honest and last time I checked this is a discussion board so we should be allowed to express our opinions and thoughts about Michael, even if they're not always positive. As long as everyone is being respectful then I don't see the big deal really.

My least favorite official televised Michael Jackson concerts are.

1. Dangerous Tour: Live In Bucharest 1992

2. Bad Tour: Yokohama 1987

3. 30th Anniversary Concert: Madison Square Garden 2001

I think Michael's televised concerts for the History Tour in Munich and Copenhagen are quite good, though not brilliant.

Most televised concerts never capture the energy and atmosphere of concerts very well. And most artists tend to tone down there performances that are being televised, which happens to be the case with almost every live concert of Michael tours since 1987.

You should watch HIStory Tour Malaysia 96 (which was televised) :)
 
history tour. it had some moments but it ain't touching Prime MJ for me which was 78-88 live on stage where he could do no wrong IMO.
 
You can't go wrong with bad tour, but technically the opening Blackshirt concert was full of mistakes by the band and a couple by mike lol
 
None, I haven't really seen 20+ concerts from every tour so I can't say.
 
In general, the best concerts imo are the ones where he was still young and vibrant (1970 til' the late 1980's/early 1990's) and those that are not so good are the ones from the recent years. If I had to pick just one concert that is not my favourite I'd say the Madison Square.

I agree 100%. Though Michael didn't tour in 1978, so his peak would have been from 1979-89 from The Jacksons, Destiny Tour till his solo Bad Tour ended in the USA.
 
um.. I would have to say 30th anniversary.. Michael was still recovering from his broken foot, he knew the two nights was going to be edited into one, so I feel like he did not TRY very hard.. He took it more as a recording a special, then an actual concert.. If you watch the clips from fan videos he takes time to check in the audio levels are ok etc.. He NEVER does that in a real show..

as if he was recording a large scale special. Not perform a concert.. Kinda like a bigger version of Pepsi commercial where they had people in the audience but it was not a real performance, it was a recording of a show..

that's how I felt it was..


Considering everything, it was still good.. Michael can never do a BAD performance, his ankle really did effect him.. He did not do some moves on the show that he always does.. Yet did it later on other public places like BET awards, and Apollo. (James brown shuffel) to be one of them.

why discussing MJ's concerts as "worse" or "the worst"... I don't get it....
 
^ loved that performance. ok it was lip sync'd, but the dancing is something else.

edit: you may be looking for the September 7th performance if you're trying to make a case against the MSG performances.

I agree. I like the part where he slowly groves to the way you make me feel. I wonder if that remix is available.

I felt 1992 Bucarist was too rushed. Especially Wanna be startin' somethin' lol. Still liked it. just one of my least favorites.
