Hold My Hand To Be The Lead Single Release

First of all, let me say why I wanted to open a new thread for Hold My Hand, which has been said to be the first single release from the upcoming Michael album. I know this subject has already been discussed in New Album thread, but hey c'mon that thread grows up so fast, like 20 pages within an hour so it's more than likely members are missing important information there. So here's a thread dedicated only to Hold My Hand and information surrouding the song being the lead single.

Question: It's rumored that Hold My Hand will be the first single of new MJ album. did you listen to the finished version and like it?

Akon: Yep! I can't wait!!

YES! I do love this song and if it has more MJ vocals that is ever better... MUCH better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wild:

I've always liked this song, and with added Michael vocals it's going to be much much better! I'm happy, yay!! :)

Michael should sing more in the chorus and the middle-eight. Just give Akon the second verse.

that had better be removed:doh: I think the best thing that could happen is if Michael recorded all the verses and they released that version

Poor Akon, I don't feel passion for his voice either but he seems to be a hit maker for some reason :) and I like the song. I just can't wait to have the cd in my hands. This month is gonna be long :mello:

I'm afraid that is part of all songs Akon has done. It's part of his trademark, so you'll instantly know that Akon produced it. I don't think this time it will be different, although it would be nice to have an 'unkonvicted' version.. :p

when he said yeah, he might have meant yeah he heard it and liked it. that doesn't mean it's the lead single.

Konvict Music sounds CRAP.

OK - HAD the song been released on an AKON album, then fine.

BUT it's being released on MJ's album so NO WAY it should be there.

You Rock My World was released on an MJ album. ''Darkchild.. I like that." is said at the beginning by Michael. This is Darkchild's mark - getting the artist to say his name at the beginning of the song. Michael was obviously cool with it.

I'm not bothered.
