Let him rest in peace for heavens sake! He deserves to be considered legendary! I like Britney Spears but that dosent mean i think she should be legendary..does anyone even know what legendary means? SORRY , but they are NOT EQUAL AT ALL world wide , MJ IS far more popular in the rest of the world , not a little , but FAR MORE than EP .

But for America , i think EP is more popular but mj is also very popular not as he used to be but still (N 3 is excellent ) , So you do the maths :
-EP for America
-mj America + world

SO mj IS far more popular than EP .

she was in london with him in the july 07 and africa sept ocotber/ lisa flew into london and debbie flew out lol. also messing around in feb 08 at that restaurant in L.A. think they were still around each other till late 99
 
Actually, now that you mention I do remember the tabloids going nuts back in around 1997 and 1998 because they reckoned MJ was cheating on Debbie with LMP and they had photos of MJ and LMP together in restaurants and stuff.

btw just had a phonecall from my bro who works fora big radio station. staff at the radio station have been asking him if he can get them tickets for mj at the O2 LOL bro just rang me and asked if i was going lol dam all these none fans are desperate for shows that arent even happening yet lol

I really hope the O2 shows do happen. It'll definitely be worth the trip if MJ's going to perform there. But I hate being the only Australian around a bunch of Brits. You're just asking for it. Especially if it's cricket season and you're the only one in a pub full of Brits wearing green and gold. I think I've heard every convict joke in the book.

and actually when the debate got started it wasnt about Legendry status in america the arguement started on legendry status in general... the debate when it started wasnt limited to a certain place, if you wanna look at a little bit of the picture then yeah Elvis is bigger, you want to see the whole picture then MJ's a giant and Elvis is a midget.

I dont see any argument to suggest that Elvis was more talented than MJ, the only talent he had that could possibley compete with MJ is as wbss said earlier: voice and charisma while MJ has that on top of which he can dance, compose music, beatbox, write songs....

Why do people keep saying that? Why does there have to be made reasons and arguements to proove Elvis is better than Michael? It just is what it is. And enough with the beatbox thing....lol
I think some of you have forgotten Elvis died in 1977. Talk about not a compelling arguement...:rolleyes:

Losing what war? Why is it so hard and difficult for you or anyone to believe that Elvis had is considered more legendary than Michael is? I mean does it have to be told AGAIN in this thread by the 4th person what hes done and how talented he was? Yeah in America - thats saying alot. Where do u live? Okay Michael can have ur Country...satisfied? Hes considered legendary by you in ur Country...here in the USA where i live its Elvis hands down by the majority and then some.

Give the man some credit. He's pretty huge globally. He's had huge hits during his lifetime and well after his death in the UK, Australia, most of Europe, most of Asia. Every country MJ is HUGE in, Elvis is pretty big in too. Michael is huge in Germany but so is Elvis. Michael is huge in Japan but so is Elvis. I know this argument is based on a list involving Elvis and Michael, but while were talking who's more popular worldwide, MJ and Elvis can both sit down because the Beatles trump them both. If you put MJ's and Elvis's popularity and success together you'd get the worldwide popularity and success of the Beatles.

Now thats true. At least i, being the obsessed Elvis fanatic that i am :lol: , can admit that if it was between Elvis and the Beatles the Beatles would win hands down. My mom said that when The Beatles came they pretty much took over America. And still do.
I personally dont care who gives Elvis credit to be honest - i know how great Elvis was and so do MILLIONS and TRILLIONS of others ....it makes no difference in the what? 6 people on here now that think hes not?

and its called a methaphor... what I meant was that yeah you can claim victory over a little thing aka a battle (Elvis being big in america) but that feat pales in comparison to being big in the whole world whcih includes america!

and the reason why it is hard for people to accept the whole Elvis is bigger than MJ or equal to MJ bull is because none of his accomplishments can honestly stand up to what MJ has achieved... furthermore you talk about Elvis dieing well to me that says it all:

MJ: 40 years in and people are still anticipating is music

Elvis: burned himself out early...

and as for MJ being big in my country your missing the point, MJ isnt limited to a country he conquered the world :punk:
