Just look at britney when she sang Givme more....she looked scared like if she has never been on stage.

You cant compare Michael to Britney :(
Britney was a basket case and had many problems
she was NOT ready but to messed up to even know that
plus she is not the pro MJ is - he has lived on stage since he
was 5 yrs old and he probably dances and performes at home
everday .. He is not afriad of the stage. Hhe said it was like home
to him - he feels more comfortable performing than making public appearances beucase when he performs he OWNS the stage and
every one who is watching him ... He had a blast just playing
around on the stage with fans in Japan and was quite at home.

was having a blast .. he loved the attention and the love he was getting.
and he gave it right back .. flirting laughing singing .. He OWNS the stage
Performing is in his blood its 2nd nature to him .. He is MICHAEL JACKSON

i bet he wont show up at the grammys too cuz if he was to i think we'd know it already.
unless of course he wants to surprise us with an appearance but its very unlikely imo

Will be pretty crap if he doesnt coz hes gettin tribute performances isnt he?? And 2 of his albums are gettin inducted into there hall of fame!!

I have this feeling...

It's the Grammy Awards 50th anniversary. They will try to make it as big as possible. And that possible promotion boost for Mike's Thriller 25 can't be denied. There won't be a chance to connect Thriller with todays hot acts this way again soon.

If he is in shape, if he is capable of doing such a thing this has written silver platter all over it.

The Grammys need him and Mike needs such an event and you bet he is once again in untouchable pop spheres!

By the way which network is handling the Grammys? This too, I think will have a lot to do with whether or not MJ is willing to help them boost their ratings.;)

Raymone Bain confirmed by e-mail to an italian fan that Mj's team is discussing with the grammy's award for MJ to attend the party....

I asked because based on ABC's latest anti-MJ smear report -yawn :rolleyes:on today's entertainment report (yahoo), listed right along side the glowing revelation that Madonna is the richest women in music, (guess they're still a little too intimidated by the richest man..ok though cause everyone knows who it is anyway) :lol:
..again the network's behavior will have much to do with how far these discussions, mentioned per Ms. Bain, will go at this point !:punk:

Meanwhile, we all should continue to hold MJ , those near & dear to him, (including those who work for him), up in prayer for continued protection, vindication & prosperity. Please Lord, in Jesus name . Amen

Well it makes sense for MJ to appear being T25 is being released a few days later. What better publicity than to the entire music industry!!

Plus with OFT & Thriller being inducted into the HoF, pretty much is a given that he will show at least along with Bains comments.

Well, I am not understanding some of the posts here about MJ being on stage and if he is worried. MJ said many times that he feels at home when he is on stage. If he is going to be there and maybe perform, I think it would be amazing. Let's be positive here and not assume anything. Lets just see what happens.

Now, we have an idea of what Ms. Bain said, lets take what she said as it is and if MJ does not go, fans better not attack her. Why? She never said that MJ was going or not going. She said that MJ is in discussions. Let's remember that.

It doesn't matter how long he's been away. Do ya'll realize that this man has been performing on stage since he was 5 years old????? You just don't FORGET or just suddenly grab stage fright out of the blue after 40 some years of performing.

For all you know he's been practicing behind the scenes all this time.

Man, i can't believe STAGE FRIGHT and MICHAEL JACKSON was used in the same sentence. WOW. LOL

And on top of that comparing BRITNEY to MICHAEL? When britney was on top of her game and MJ was "apparantly" at his "lowest" ...Michael had to SHOW her how to prance across a freakin stage at the right times. Come on now LOL

Sometimes people can be the most pessimistic fans in the world. I swear. Some GREAT possibility like MJ POSSIBLY attending the Grammys and peeps come up with some stuff like MJ getting stage fright. Wooooooooow. Amazing.

All i know is the more negative the fans are, the more they're gonna feel EXTRA salty in the end . I kinda feel MJ WANTS people to underestimate him so that he can blow them out the water.

On point. It is insane that some people who are fans (that is what they claim) are even assuming that MJ might have a fear of the stage. LOL. I thought I was reading things but I was not. Then one fans was comapring MJ to Britney Spears. Lawd..... First of all, MJ is a pro, Britney is a P.R. Stunt. MJ is too disciplined, Britney is a mess. MJ never had a terrible performance, even when he did not look his best. Britney - I mean, why am I even comparing, seriously? Someone needs to knock me out. LOL.

And that could mean ANYTHING. For one I wouldn't be disappointed at all if all Mike did was just show up and not do anything. Would be better to think that rather than being worried about if he's performing or not. I actually think every public hassle he's faced since 2002 has led to him being too concerned about whether or not he was gonna perform or not. I'm actually looking forward to TINA though so we'll see what happens.

Even the biggest pros can get a stage fright or be insecure sometimes. They are only human after all. And in the case of MJ it's totally understandable too, considering what's happened to him in the past few years. I believe Mariah Carey had it too after her breakdown, but she's back on track now.

But what is the likely hood of that? Since 5 years old, the stage is all MJ has EVER known. MJ has gone through his most trying times in front of the public eye. Most embarrassing. None of that is gonna make him fear the stage when that is the ONLY thing he's known all his life. Being insecure is one thing, I'm sure MJ is insecure all the time, but how he HANDLES it, especially when it comes to performance is not gonna change. MJ has messed up on stage countless times, and he keeps going like nothing happened. MJ is a pro. Not something you just forget how to do.

It's doesn't have anything to do with forgetting how to do it. It's about being insecure/nervous/fearful of doing it the first place. Sometimes certain event(s) can cause that. It happens even to best of them. I'm not saying he's like that, but I'm not gonna write it off as completely impossible to happen either.

Here's the thing though. MJ could be a LOT of things right now. He could be depressed out of his mind. He COULD be secretly married. He COULD be extra extra paranoid and think the FBI is after him. He COULD be a lot of things. But there is no REAL evidence to prove he is, so why are we entertaining this thought? Just because he hasn't performed in a while and he went through a trial, all of a sudden he has stage fright. After YEARS of embarrassment...after YEARS of ridicule...after YEARS and YEARS of his life being under a microscope...we make that jump to that conclusion? I think that's unfair.
