Justin wearing Thriller-style jacket for video. lol

J.Timberland will never be Michael but just maybe he was tring to honor the new T25 album. I,m not nuts bout this guy but i think this time maybe he isn,t doing nothing more than respecting the man.
 
JT should be left alone.. He tried really hard to take that 'MJ copy' image off, from his first solo album.. He did a good job at that, now he feels free to be free.. If he wants to do something like MJ, he has established himself as himself now..

It's all good to me.. Just putting on the jacket does not say COPY to me.. Just says dedication. We'll see where he'll take these ideas, but untill he pushes it too far, it's all good.



People act like Michael did not 'copy' people.. He was inspired by MANY.. Some ideas are EXACT to other peoples things. But we don't notice that I guess.. I'm not saying he's a ripps off etc.. He just knows what is great, and can take it to the next level.. (MIKE)

why do we hate someone who is a fan of mj and who would love to be like his idol?
I am sure there are lots of people on this forum who like to go out and imitate what mj does and copy his style!
 
First rule when you want to write/compose songs, available for both Timbaland and Timberlake - shut down the radio and the cds! You do not write songs with Prince, Michael or anybody else singing in the background. Not political fair, if you know what I mean.... :rolleyes: :lol:
 
I just don't get this Justin/Usher/Chris Brown bashing everytime when they do something Michaelish It's just their way to show the respect they have for MJ. There's nothing wrong with that. We all have our own ways; for example we camp outside MJ's hotel.. Well for some reason I just can't imagine Justin/Usher/Chris B. doing that, so they'll do it their own ways

I would have no problem with Justin if he wasn't such a fake and a phoney. Ask him who his inspirations are these days and he'll say people like Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatara, Prince, etc. when that's not what he was saying before. He doesn't even know who MJ is these days. He just needs to give credit where it's due because everyone can see that he's been influenced by Michael.

I have to say that I think both of his albums are very solid though but I don't like his attitude. I've met him before so I know what i'm talking about. He is arrogant as hell and thinks he's all that.

Justin has disrespected Michael in the past. In fact, almost every single imitator out there has with the exception of Usher and Omarion. I've never heard either of those two speak anything but positive words about Michael. The rest, on the other hand, have said clearly less then favorable things, and that just turns me the hell off.
 
You guys are way too hard on Justin. He's a great young artist. Justin Timberlake can do anything Michael Jackson sets his mind to.
 
Michael Jackson always expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to his idol, He even got emotional when at the Bet awards, he said No body has influenced him more than this man right here, referring to JB.

On the other hand, this artist tried to play down Michael's influence on him when he's been his greatest inspiration.

This little thing says a lot bout a person.

You have a point . the only reason i.m not nuts about him is what he did to M:)ichael,s sister Janet. But guess you are right he does like Michael and he seems to be afan i guess. Something for us all to think on . thanks

Sure he did give credit to Michael but that was BEFORE the trial.
There have been other female artists who wore skimpier but you don't see no male artist tearing off nobody's bra on national TV.

He’s imitating weird al or what ever his name is. I like the white jacket. MJ wears that one on concerts, but MJs one lights up in the dark!! Full lighting display on the jacket... I want it!!

Chris Brown has said some stuff which can be seen as negative. Like this one time he said something along the lines of wanting to be like Michael when he was still cool. Those weren't his exact words, but something along those lines.

lol he's a goof. I mean he used to seem cool, but I hate his cocky attitude--all of this fame is getting to his big fat head. It's like he thinks he's so cute and clever, and it's ANNOYING!!!

I can't remember where or exactly when Justin said what he did. It was on a radio interview though, I think. He said something along the lines of not wanting to become a freak or become as screwed up as Michael has.
