I dont understand.. if Michael loves Neverland , why he dont return there? Why he permit to Tom sneddon to destroy every dream he creates there? Michael if you wants Neverland, return there.. ... I can 't watch Neverland in that bad conditions.... or he will rebuilt Neverland like was once, with flowers, animals... or he need to sell it... forever.

I cry so much for this situation.. I don 't want see anymore a SAD Neverland Valley without Michael and his children there.... I dont want see Neverland anymore...... Neverland is died.. and Michael let Neverland to die.. is like Tom sneddon win.... he destroy Neverland.

Please reserve judgement on the issue until at least after the 19th March. At the present moment nothing has been decided yet so no need to be sad.

whoa...like SC's comment....

Neverland is a place...a place w/o feeling and emotions. it's those who live there and worked there that created that magic and that feeling. so don't think it can only be created w/in the confines of 5225 fig. mountain road....cuz that ain't true.

and moreso, it's also a part of his image and that's y some are so 'devastated' by the possibility of it one day being sold....let it go people....

no i dont think thats why soso.

Why is it so hard to imagine people having sentimental attachment to the place? Especially the way MJ has talked about it over the years and how dear it was to his heart. That place is not part of his image, its a manifestation of the things he holds dear.

granted he can easily re=manifest those ideals somewhere else if he so choses, as long as he STILL HAS THEM. people connect the PLACE with the IDEALS that made it.

Also SC has a point...people also find it sad that TS wanted mJ run out of his county or whatever...and he wanted Neverland out of MJ's hands...and if MJ gives up on it, thats what he will have. Im not saying "winning" in this way is WORTH it, or that important, but it is a shame that TS spoiled that place for him.

Funny you should say that. I was reading in Joe's book that when he bought the estate in Encino, the neighbours collected a petition from the neighbourhood to keep the Jacksons out of the all white neighbourhood. This was in the 70's and the Jacksons were mighty famous at the time. I Joe Jackson was not intimidated. It made him more determined. The jackson family are still there. Michael will not be driven out of Neverland if Joe Jackson's blood runs through his veins.:)
Your right, he shouldn't, let anyone drive him away. He has a right to be where he wants and to live where he wants. Stand up for what you believe in....and that is to fight for what belongs to you, (if you want it that is). :)

Michael has ben wronged on so many levels. I believe he see this now therefore I do not think he will tolerate the abuse any longer.

Ok peeps we have received complains on some comments made here.
The topic is about the fact that NL may/may not be auctioned that's the topic, please stick to it. Please do not comment on allegations/trials and such. Such things not only offend other member(s) but are 'unrelated' to the issue of whether NL will/will not be auctioned.

u made a very important point...it was HIS house, HIS emotions, HIS attatchment not theirs. if he no longer feels that way then what the hell is the point? he's keeping it for a reason and if it ain't for returning it to the 'magical place' it once was, then fans want to worry....

dude went to bahrain to chillax.....did what he did, traveled all over and was spending money constantly. if he was in any sort of 'dry' situation and was about to face losing the house he 'so very much treasures' don't u think that would have been priority number one from the get go? must not be cuz either it ain't true or he don't care or both! lol

u can't run no one out of a place if they don't want to leave....it's been tainted, the feeling is no longer there FOR THAT PARTICULAR PLACE but that's not to say it no longer exists

but please believe that the situation he just got out of shined a whole new light on things....u may wanna help and all but at the end of the day YOUR CHILDREN ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE...SUFFERING OR NOT. so for his family's sake, if he's choosing to abstain from that place, then good. it's great to help but not when it's a negative to your life

like i said earlier...that ranch symbolizes 40 acres for each family member....it's a proverbial F U to all those in the CITY but those in the county love him...ya know...his actual neighbors and the people that actually interact w/ him. he's been nothing but a plus to the community until the unfortunate events taht happened.

just wondering....u think he can substitute the mules for all the animals he had?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, this whole thing..
you know what.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

there, I feel 10% better.. Try it.. :)

scream out what you want to say to these vultures
u alright man?

can I help you? get u a chair maybe?

anything? :p

Re: Neverland is not going to be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

Let's hope by March 19 there won't be no auction so all you guys can do the Holy Ghost.

'Cause y'all gonna need it!

Good one troubleman84

Re: Neverland MAY be auctioned on March 19, 2008 [keep all discussions here, please]

I remember this same thread months ago...and here we are talking about it again, the media must be running low on stories if this is news lol
If it were confirming the auction of Neverland, I might be interested but the fact is none of us, even the media dont know what is going on with Michaels finances, this could be getting sorted as we speak so until they say his former home is going up for auction, the subject doesnt interest me in the least.

I read the same reports months ago, and the same fan discussion...and Raymone released a statement regarding it...I wish we could get out the same tiresome media cycle.

Exactly!

All the media have done here was to break up into (2) parts, Ms.Bain's own previous statment, (which by the way,was issued well in advance to T25's release):

1.) They took the first portion of her previous statement, & added some spin to create this tale.

2.) Then they used the later portion of the same previous statement by Ms. Bain as the rebuttal or follow up to the story.

All to create the 'appearance' that they had done their jobs as 'journalist'. Don't ya'll get it, yet? When that cnn artitle quotes 'a source close to Jackson'...they are referring to MJ's own publicist..Ms. Bain.
Can it get more unethical that! Lord, have mercy!
Keep in mind this Cnn (nancy grace/diane diamon) offering rebuttal or updates to a fox news report,(murdoch owned, r.f & diane diamon). Most of us here remember their years of unethical/untrue reports on MJ.

cnn & fox ...oh, my! Wh-what a partnership::lol:

Created for the purpose of hiding behind the fact they now need to use/spin Ms. Bain's own previous statement in order to cover up their lying/misrepresentation & exaggeration on stories related to MJ. By the way, Ms. Bain had previously issused a statement, directly accusing them of doing these things.

Hmmm, soo-o how is Ms. Bain's job performance?

Well, apparently when the combined efforts of cnn & fox and other major U.S. media outlets who quoted them, feel it better to rewrite Ms. Bains own public statements & take credit for them.....not bad, at all, I guess!

J5MASTER- u do realize that sneddon is gone, right? sure he can be screwed over in any county in any city or state but that residing in a county where officials know the whole layout of his house, where everything is, is potentially dangerous, right?

as far as neverland still being his home. man said it wasn't home to him anymore. it's just a house. it served its purpose, was tainted twice, and helped to house all the jacksons and witnesses that testified for mj during the trial....then once it was over, everyone left and they havent' been back.

i think keeping it is a big FU to the county. im so rich i can pay this much a yr for a house i don't even intend on coming back to. dude picked the most soil rich parts of the ranch to develop on. so they can try to make it into a vineyard but it'll be in vain.

neverland is not what made michael. he made neverland....and that was his joy that he chose to share. if he's done sharing and he's done w/ it, let it go. i think many fans are just upset that IF he chose to be done w/ it, this is the way it has to be done.

in the end...DOES IT REALLY MATTER? remember when all we wanted a few yrs ago was a not guilty verdict and mj happy and safe w/ his chillun? remember that feeling and then re-evaluate your comments

You're right Katie. The only reason I would be upset is because if Michael wanted to get rid of it, I would like to see him sell it or do it on his own terms, not have it taken from him and auctioned off. But like you said, its just a physical manifestation of a perception he holds in his heart and mind. The actual ranch didn't create that, and it was Michael being there that made the place what it was, it was his vision. The actual place going does not symbolise or mean he no longer has those things or no longer holds them in high regard. I just hate to see what he worked so hard for to be taken from him. Maybe it won't happen though. We'll see.

Oh, I get it, totally. However, I doubt that the "insider" for the CNN "article" was Ms. Bain. I see your logic, but I do not see how it could have been Ms. Bain saying that.

Also, my local media has not even reported that MJ is seeking to retain his estate. They totally ignored the story. It looks like they realized that MJ is not going to lose NL after all.

I would like to see him sell it or do it on his own terms, not have it taken from him and auctioned off

Yeah, I see your point. Actually, I was distrubed when the media was saying that it could be auctioned. That did not sit right with me. It is almost like stealing from someone's home. MJ, imo, should keep his home but don't live in it until he can try to live in it. He can keep it, pay for it, clean it but not live in it.

My sister was telling me how, if NL was to be auctioned, that she would buy the things. I wanted to slap her! How could she say such a thing?

Cnn & fox partnered together on this story for the purpose of hiding behind the fact they now need to use/spin Ms. Bain's own previous statement. They have to now, cause the dealine is approaching! Their previous lying/misrepresentation & exaggeration on stories about MJ, has again put them in an awkward position, before a public who's $$supporting$$ MJ's latest project. By the way, Ms. Bain had previously issused a statement, directly accusing them of doing these things.

Hmmm, soo-o how is Ms. Bain's job performance?

Can someone please tell me who is this person who would buy neverland? Why would someone buy neverland? I don't see any profit or purpose for someone other than Michael to have or maintain neverland...

it's encouraging to know that smart fans on this site will be the undoing of these (censored) on fox and cnn. and we know that reuters and others tend to follow fox and cnn. i guess fox and cnn are considered to be the leaders.

Why do we have to go through this every time something like this comes up? Why can't we just wait and see what happens, and not get our panties in a bunch over something that we know fairly little about? It's just so effing tiring...

I'm aware that I stole Wendy's phrase there by the way, but what the hell.

Carry on!

Michael Jackson is the cat and the big dog is Roger Friedman! You have failed RF! Stay away from Michael and what he decides to do with Neverland is up to him!

No, Michael Jackson for president. Caust I'm tire of Obama, Hillary and John fighting!

Anyway, it is going to be very interesting to see how the media gets out of this one come March 19th. I betcha we won't see them doing anything. Or they will say something stupid like Ron Burkle or the King of Bahrain bailed Michael out.

PLEASE! I wanna see Obama give Hillary and John a chokeslam! Roger picking on Mike is like Tom picking on Jerry. Remember that Jerry was the smart one. ;)

MR. SPOCK!!! i love it!

you know, i have spent a lot of time being real upset over this. now i realize that i should just wait until the 19th til we know for sure. i'll be praying about it definitly and i'll be sad if it goes (very sad) but i realize there is no way that Michael will let this go...yes he says it is no longer home..but he also said he will never sell neverland..and if he won't sell it i highly doubt he'll let it be taken from him. so faith is what i'm going by now. and i hope we all do the same.

Nancy Grace is at it again. She has a segment throwing dirt at Michael possibly losing Neverland to auction. Not only is it stupid for her to spotlight it on her show, but the other story she's discussing is this Drew Peterson guy in question about his 3rd wife's death and 4th wife missing.

How does Michael and Neverland compare to this man who possibly murdered more than 1 wife and is presently getting away with it, Nancy Grace?

I don't think she has a clue why she just has to put her foot in her mouth where Michael is concerned.

Is there any such thing as change in the woman?

I'm sure someone else has already mentioned this, maybe. I didn't read everyone's post.

I just happened to tune into her show just at the moment when she was giving the preview of what she's got scheduled to talk about on her show.

It is really sad how she can't leave well enough alone. She has to be in it. She keeps talking about his spending SPREES.

Oh yeah, don't let me forget Jane Velez's big mouth telling her stories about this.

I can't believe this guy on there saying that Michael shouldn't have been acquitted and the phone callers are totally ridiculous.

Brian Oxman is the only positive voice there. Again, I'm sorry if this was already discussed earlier.

It's all dirty and nasty that's going on. But don't blame the media for running with the story. It's Michaels own fault that he let it come this far. It's not like the story is made up, there are legal papers and it's a real situation.

Unless something is done FAST, Neverland WILL be auctioned on March 19. That IS a fact, not fiction. And it's big news for tabloids. I really don't think, from their twisted point of view, you can blame them for jumping to it. It's sensational and that's their business.

Of course it's hard to go from one disaster to another in Michaelland, but a lot of it is really by his own doing, or not doing anything for that matter.

Who was the guy who said that Michael should not have been acquitted? Was it that guy with the glasses and the slight bald head who is always on her show? Cause he doesn't have a clue. He is so up her ass til it aint funny.

Sorry, I respectfully disagree. I do however, relate to your frustrations over this. His own doing, would have to be his 'own', & not attacks or scams others have decided to do. Whether or not these attacks have come from political powers/law enforcement & an unethical media, it still does not validate them. In fact, it makes it worse that these organized institutions have targeted an individual.

If we compare MJ's sitiuation to ours, how many of us would do 'as well as he does' under any of the same circumstances he's experienced. So don't get upset or overwelmed, we're all here:wub: to vent our frustrations.

I won't even tell ya' to believe in Neverland, instead we'll touch & agree here & believe in God for the victory.:)
