it's not really a sample in this completely live performance, more like a mini tribute. it'll be interesting to hear the recorded song if that includes an actual sample but i wouldn't think so.

Cool. Mariah sound's great here, see, she can still sing live, and the song is a lot better then her lead off single. That's sweet that she sampled "Off The Wall", it sounds like an important part of the song, so I'm sure it'll be in the album version. She's always respected Michael and supported him too.

so i guess the feud is all over? she was pretty angry at him, coz he talked very bad about her husband tommy mottola in 2001/2002.

has she officially become friends with MJ again since then? coz i can't recall michael singing or sampling any mariah carey songs.
 
Mariah hates Tommy Mattola. She just didn't want to get involved with what Michael said because it was so controversial. But she wasn't angry at him.

There was NEVER any fued between Michael and Mariah. :)

She is the one who went and cried on MJ's shoulder about
Tommy causing her problems ... I never read where she was
angry with him - unless some tabliod spread that rumour.

True. She used to talk about how her controlling Matolla was. Scary. He decided what she wore, she couldn't dress in anything too revealing, even her phones were tapped by him! She was in an abusive relationship. The man controlled her happiness.

When Michael was protesting Sony, he mentioned certain artisits who were suffering as a result from all the B.S. and lack of support (advertizing artists new albums) Sony gave to them. One of them was Mariah. She in turn supported him, not only as a means to ride above her ex-husbands reins, but to show her support for Michael as he inpired her though the years. ^_^

This clip reminds me of the old Mariah...

For some reason seeing her look and sound so early 90's makes me think that MJ will come out and take me back to 1992 as well, lol. If only.... i'd love another Dangerous.

Crap..., my first year at Queen's University.....streesssful!! But it was amazing. Yeah, Mike can take us back to '92 if he wants. :lol:
