Someone told me today that The Bee Gees are friends of Michael's

Is this true?
 
yep, It's true :yes: There are pics with them together, and also Chris Tucker said in an interview that he and MJ went to one of their houses and they were all singing bee gee's songs!!!!!!
 
Berry Gibbs is one of MJ's close friends..

even when he was asked if he would allow his children to sleep with other adults.. Berry Gibbs was THE ONE that came to his mind for an example of it being OK.. He explained, if it's someone close like family etc...
 
mj spent time at barrys house after lwmj aired. they also worked on a song and mj attended the memorial/funeral of maurice with barry

when the J5 were inducted into the R&R hall of fame the beegees were with them on stage the whole " barry,michael,barry,michael thing and theres footage of mj and barry at the funeral/memorial service fro murice.theres prob alot more
 
havnt seen that in ages. love it when mj goes "oh barry" lol

Yeah, they're good friends, especially I think Michael and Barry. They should write more music together, they're both so talented in that area.

That was such an awesome clip too at the R&R Hall of Fame. I've never seen that before. Thanks for posting. Michael was really cute there, and much more relaxed then usual. It must have been because his family was up there with him.
 
Ohhh, I would absolutely LOVE it if Michael & The Bee Gees collaborated. I'm a HUGE Bee Gee's fan and would love to see this happen. I think their voices would blend really well together.

Yeah Barry Gibb and MJ have been friends since the 80's. They knew each other since the late 70's and became friends in early 80's when they co-wrote a couple of songs together including one for Diana Ross called Eaten Alive. At one point there were reports that MJ and the Bee Gees were going to do a whole album together in the late 90's but for some reason it didn't happen in the end.
 
^^^^^ I would have been IN LINE for days for that album, Mike always seems to work with some of my fave perfomeres...and the Bee Gees are among my top 5

yeah i remember hearing that at the time. there was the song mj and barry started to record together in the early 0's but i beleive that was never finished either
 
as already been covered with MJ being a Godparent to a Gibb Kid and Barry vice versa. Eaten Alive which they collaborated on for Diana Ross. MJ was in the studio when the Bee Gees were working on the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack and recommend a few things. MJ said that the Bee Gees Success with Fever inspired him for "thriller'. MJ and the Bee Gees are two of my all time favorite Music acts. huge big fan of both and I keep there box sets each nearby always.

that J5 induction was from 97 seems just like yesterday.


over on youtube if you type in Andy Gibb and peep out his 84 concert footage on there when he is doing shadow dancing you'll notice Andy rocking a Beat it inspired outfit.
