Just wondering what people do differently than before after discovering MJ.
I, for example, say 'doggone' a lot! ^_^

I seriously stop and THINK before I say a negative comment about someone. I try to put myself in their shoes, or try to think of things as not being black or white but there could be more to someones story, ya know? Basically Michael has made me not so judgemental...and I love that. I also have been saying FUDGE a lot LOL in place of that other F word.

I try to be more friendly to other people and be more social.lol. Before I found out about MJ, I would just hole myself up in my house and never leave, because I hated being around other people. I also learned that no matter how bad things get, you can't stop moving foreward, and that after the bad days there are always good days to look forward to.:flowers:

I stop myself before making a snarky comment about someone, even from Britney.
I try to be nice to people and not judge anyone, I've stopped reading gossip blogs and tabloids.

I can't explain, but I think I've become a better person because of him.

he gave me the Bible

I remember sitting on my bed feeling lost and in despair while flipping through a magazine

he said in an article that he reads the bible and I remember thinking, "hmm now that's a thought"

cause i was raised around church but not much bible - mostly the Spirit of the word rather than the spine of it

I figured it was for ppl like me that made him want to do that - hoping to set a worthwhile example for kids to follow - and he did

so here it is a couple decades later I'm constituted with God's word inside

Thanks God

Thanks MJ :flowers: for being an obedient steward

Changed my personality and views of myself and the world.

Michael has vanished all my evil ways (prejudice, narrow minded, ignorant and even...racist...) im a much much kinder person now, i believe that i can achieve what i want, i care alot about other people and animals, i appericate all cultures....

Thanks to Michael. :D

We should put all of these into a book and give it to MJ for his 50th birthday. So that he knows how many people's lives he has changed. :)

He just gives me a joy that without i would of been real lonely all these years. His music brings me peace in side. Yes at times he is a God sent.

He was the first to get me concerned about our planet. (I would pick up the cigarette butts I found in the front yard of our house as a child thanks to his song Heal The World and Earth Song!!)

He brought me back to Pop music. There was a long while where I didn't listen to pop or popular music because I really thought it was getting worse and worse compared to what it used to be. I still don't listen to it as much, but I can at least appreciate it and understand what it means to others.

As much as my faith in God has shown me to love others and respect all races, nations, and colors, Michael has really helped in this sense too. I find myself much more appreciative and even more interested in other cultures and races thanks to the things he has said. We had a sermon in church last sunday and it touched a little bit on how our Faith doesn't discriminate rich or poor, black or white, clean or dirty. I immediately thought of Michael and what he has said on these terms.

He has also shown me the importance of being "child like", or having the innocence of a child. And especially loving children! I am much more concerned about the welfare of our children what with AIDS being as high as it is...especially in Africa.

There's probably more, but this is good enough.

His music has made me a happier person, and has made my life more fun. I think I have a brighter look on life in general because of it.

His life story is inspirational, and I look at MJ as an example of someone who has possibly the most (as in number of) admirable traits that a human can have.

He's just a highly positive thing in my life. And when his new album comes out, I'm gonna be bouncing off the walls. :D

Oh, and he's the reason that I found this nice place too. :)

Well, first and foremost, he's taught me to write good music and to really capture what an artist is all about. The lyrics, beat and melody has to emulate from the soul, otherwise it really isn't from the heart. Only quality material comes from the heart.

Secondly, he's taught me to never give-up hope. That's the one thing that I've held onto ever since I followed him growing-up; the ability to hope. Thank God for Michael. ^_^

i was down and he helped me smile.he teached me to forgive,to move on,he made me a better person;-)

Michael saved my life.Because of problems that are too personal to foccus here, back in 1995,i tried something that didn't work.(thank God i say now).I was asked to find something or someone that could make me smile,or dream.
Call it coincidence, crazyness, whatever, but the thing is that album History came into the stores right after that, and with it,a new world started for me.
Not only i had the chance to find out that i was not the only fan in my country, but also,i started to get to know amazing people around the world, that i would never know,if it wasn't for Michael.
Michael gave me and gives me so much, that in the darkest moments of my life,He gave a sister,he gave me friends that i love as part of my family, but most of all,He gave me the chance to know and to feel what being in love for real, what "having found the love of our life"means.

Michael changed me yes.But to me he changed me into someone that sees the world and the people with different feelings and eyes.
Feelings like love,gratitude and forgiviness.
Eyes of compassion,hope and faith.

Well thx to Michael I am now broke after all the money i've spent on him over the years! Thanks a lot Mike .

J/K:lol::p. Seriously, how has Michael changed my life ? Two words: "Human Nature". I love all his music but when I heard that song for the first time, I thought it was so beautiful and made me realize exactly why music was put here on this earth.

As an MJ fan and that is as a fan of both him as a person and his music, he has really preached the message about being tolerant in his music and I definitely think being a fan of his has made me more open minded and tolerant. I mean as a Michael fan you have to be somewhat tolerant at least and be able to think "outside of the box" . Also being a fan of his makes you think about so many things including race, gender, sexuality, the legal system, etc. and being a fan has somewhat changed my persepective on some of these issues. So many different topics though. I didn't know that much about vitiligo either until I became a MJ fan. He is a study in himself. Absolutely fascinating, but yeah his music has served as a source of escapism and inspiration on many occasions, especially when I was younger. Because of all this i'll always be grateful to MJ and his music.
