Official Michael Jackson Toy To Be Released In Time For Christmas

The toys have been licensed through Bravado – the official online company representing Michael Jackson’s merchandise.

Below lists a set of photographs taken from the forthcoming Michael Jackson Thriller toy:

I´ll buy it. See people this is my way to give the Estate my money and not through Sony!

The zombie one looks great, but the other one doesn't really look like MJ to me. :mello:

^^lol

Now this is an awesome figure. Very accurate, especially the zombified version of Michael's head and jacket. I hope I can grab it. :)
Thanks for sharing this!

more info:
The figures will come in a 1/6 scale, featuring all the intricate details one would come to expect from a Hot Toys release. A launch is set for December 2009 with a suggest retail price tag of ¥24,000 (Approx. $255 USD).

I also got a link here but it is in Japanese, there are more images there

ouch, expensive, but well done really, i'm kinda impressed here. Of course no one can reproduce the perfection of Michael's face on a doll, but they really did a good job...
Hope one day I'll be able to get one of these.. kinda creepy the changing head thing lol..

That's just what I thought!! I'm trying to pick what doesnt sit well - think it's the eyes... but the zombie one looks pretty spot on! Love the clothing on both :)

I have this pre-ordered for some months now. So this means we'll be having this in our collection this year? It's coming out for the UK, Canada, Etc as well?

a little creepy ....extra hands....and feet and head....scarry....ewww....:lmao:

exactly my thoughts, its his eyes and mouth, not quite right. still they look very well made, should be for the price.

This is the old stuff..., nothing new..., but it looks really cool, I would buy this..., its worth having it...

They should have made him smiling. :)
He had great teeth. lol.

The good thing about this particular figure, is that there's room for custom head work that can be made available through Hot Toys, if enough people would beg for it. There are also very incredible artists out there who I'm sure will make custom heads for this thing.
I see it happen a lot with other movie character figures.

Switchable heads = good. ;)

I find it quite accurate as it is. It could be the lighting or air brushing from this prototype. The final product almost always looks slightly different.

The way I understand it, this toy was created to only be sold in Japan and Hong Kong. So anyone outside of that area is probably going to have to pay a premium because it is being imported.

this has been selling for quite a bit now
i seen it ages ago :D

Where? I've seen pics before but already available for purchase?

The last time I checked the HotToys site there was no option to convert the language to english on it and no option to buy it. So from who else can fans buy it from?

Zombie Mike=:clapping:
Regular Mike=:mello: There is something off. I don't know if it's the eyes or perhaps his jaws/cheeks. I agree with the poster who said they should have made him smiling. MJ has a beautiful smile.

There are websites that specialize in toys and action figures that are selling it. The only thing is that they are importing it themselves so that raises the price of the figure. From my understanding, the only official distributor of Hot Toys figures in the USA is Sideshow Toys and I don't think they are carrying the MJ figure.

Its sucks if this is not released in stores! I'm sick of the whole "Buy MJ merchandise online" thing! Elvis is friken everywhere! I want the same for Michael!
