That's why I used quotations on her so that it isn't like I'm saying that it's actually her kids - I meant that she's responsible for them while she's at work.

Obviously we don't think alike, and that's cool with me! :)
I'm not here to force anyone to have the same view as I have - I just shared my thoughts, also :)

I believe it's considered a civil violation. But I'm not sure. Maybe someone more aware of these legal things can help us :).
 
Ugggg I just read this and got immediately scared and upset. Then I came here to read what happened and honestly the comments are giving me a headache.

Anyways I am thanking God that the children were not in the car that was hit, I hope whoever was in the other car was not hurt and I also hope the new paparazzi law comes into effect soon. American tabloids are getting worst than anywhere else in the world. And so called legitimate news is just as bad.

*Dear God please continue to bless and keep Michael's kids safe and block any harm that might be trying to come their way. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers for these children and the people taking care of them.*

Hmm....doesn't sound all that promising to me...altho I agree it IS "something". All I see coming out of a civil violation is celebrities being penalized twice. After having their privacy and space invaded, they then have to HIRE a lawyer and spend all their hard earned money paying these lawyers to sue HOW MANY paparazzos who don't give a crap? The State doesn't really care becuz they'll benefit from the fines and filing fees in all these suits rather than spending money in prosecuting the Papz. Oy! We know what's going to happen. After losing or defaulting on the lawsuits, a judgment will be placed against the papz which they can't pay and they will continue to stalk and take pix and get money under the table. Why people want to be rich and famous has always been a mystery to me. Yeah, looks like fun but the reality is it can be HELL. Yeah, there's L.O.V.E., but your life is no longer your own in some instances. How about just wealthy, accomplished and still anonymous? Keeps all the riff raff and leeches at bay.

Yeah, it's a tricky thing. California is filled with paps, especially L.A. And there were probably many celebrities complaining. They signed the law so they can say to those complaining about paparazzi "Well, if you don't like it, you can always sue them!". That's why I'm being skeptical about how much this law will help.
 
Princess Diana died in car accident chased by paparazzi but ppl believe it was planned. I do not want the same for those poor kids. I hope this accident was not planned and I hope it is not related to kids and MJ will.
 
Has anyone else repoted this yet? How is it that TMZ is the first and only papsmearazzi to report it. They say it wasn't them chasing those kids, but I don't trust them either. They have recieved inside info before and they could have this time also if that was the case.
 
It is becoming worst. The Paps are really overdoing it. They have laws to protect them? Anyway, Arnold signed this law to protect celebs and give them some privacy, however, that will not stop the paparazzi. These Children needs to movie to another country where they can continue their childhood in peace.
I do not think that Katherine will sue anyone over these kids privacy. It will cost money and they dont seem to want to spend money.
Grace should not be driving these kids anywhere. When I saw the Karate Pics online I was really upset. We dont need to see these kids, just leave them alone.

Michael was the Best fahter there was, he protected his children even when people were calling him weird.
We all need to pray for the safety of these kids..I am quite sure that they are shaken up and crying for their daddy.
Every day it is some kind of drama..when will it stop?

TMZ's Harvey is a lawyer and it is no secret that he has sources in the legal and police circles. For example in the live chats they talk about knowing about what goes with the investigation, knowing whay it is delayed etc but "cannot say it now" etc. It looks like they have a lot of sources and seems like these sources trust them a lot as they can keep things secret (as long as needed). So my guess their source from the police etc told them.

They also have direct contact with Joe, Randy and Katherine. They say and write it very openly. (they also has direct contact with Branca and McClain and their lawyer)

Now as you know many people complain that TMZ use "not so beautiful" photos of MJ in their news stories and they say that "they only use what themselves have shot" and will not be willing to pay for pictures. We really have not seen them to post any MJ kids pictures to this time (no karate lesson classes, no with Liz Taylor pictures). It is safe to assume that It definitely looks like they are not following them and therefore they are not posting pictures of them.
 
I got a text message telling me what happened.
I about had a heart attack.
I have two boys. I can tell you right now, this would not fly.
I would be suing left and right.
This is getting stupid.
I pray something is done for their safety and peace of mind.

This really pisses me off. It needs to stop. I have Michael's family in my prayers every night. None of them deserves what he had to go through with the paparazzi. I worry for their safety. :cry:
 
Omg!! I am so upset over this those poor children. I am glad they are okay but it is frightening to see what lengths these people will go to for a photo. This is so unfair Michael should be here protecting them. He had the right idea they were so safe when they were with him he made sure of it. I am so angry.

It is against the law to photograph children under the age of 18 without the parent or guardian's permission. Just because they are celebrity children does not give people to right to take their photos. Someone has to put a stop to this nonsense. This is precisely why Michael was so protective of them. He got criticised for not allowing them to have a "normal" life, but being stalked by raving lunatics who call themselves photographers is hardly normal. He had to cover their faces, and I personally think that was the best thing he could have done for them. The media don't care that these children have just lost their daddy. Their pictures are worth thousands, so why should they care? They didn't care about how the children would have felt about them when they took a picture of Michael dead in the back of the ambulance, now did they? There needs to be some boundaries.

paps are nothing but glorified stalkers, but they get away with it because of freedom of the press.

they don't need tip offs. They wait outside, just like fans do. Do you think a car would leave the compound without being followed by the papps. i don't think so. as long as they know where they live they will always know where they are going.

stalking is illegal....unless you have a camera in your hand it seems.

and i don't think even a proffessional driver could avoid an accident when someone decides to drive up your exhaust pipe.
 
I didn't ever think I would say this, but Debbie NEEDS to step in. She had the motherly instinct to tell Michael to cover their faces, she needs to have that motherly instinct to help her children. None of this happened when Michael was alive! NOW, it's pretty much proven that SOMEONE (it may not be family, maybe a staff member) in the house is tipping off staff. Look at Britney Spears, once her father cleaned house with her assistant and manager, what news has there been? None! Someone needs to clean house in the Jackson home!!!

i felt sick when i read the headline this morning and thank god they are ok.
i think Michael is looking out for his beautiful children i really do.

This makes me so sad. A beautiful woman and her partner already died because of paps chaing them - how much more proof do they need to put laws into place to prevent this (or at least punishments for doing so)?

Those poor children have been through enough. Leave them alone! :(
