Let's talk about this amazing movie! (SPOILERS!)

Remember when he was saying wait for my cue. I'm gonna point that's my cue.

You have to let it simmer.

^ Yeah, I remember thinking during that long pause "has it simmered enough yet Mike?"

I think it depends on what the crowd is like. At my theater, it was stone-cold silent throughout most of the movie except for a few laughs here and there and a couple rounds of applause. So yeah I was eating popcorn.

But others are saying it was almost like attending a concert, so I think it just depends on your fellow movie-goers and how lively they are, Draliongirl. :)

just got back ...... MJ was EPIC.

Amazing....!!!!!!

What's more amazing... I brought home the life size promotion billboard home!

OMG OMG OMG OMG .... i got to piece it together tomorrow .

there were moments when i was looking at michael, fully in the moment and loving every bit... then it hits you... and you can't but not cry at the loss. well, at least i did.

Billie Jean was great, TDCAU was awesome, the whole thing was awesome.

quoted myself, i really have to go try sleep, can anybody answer, please????:)
I did both. The first few performance I wanted to get up and dance everyone was clapping to the music. I was with a crowd of true MJ stans. It was nice be amongst others.:punk:

Ok, so it all depends, thank you very much

One of the best parts for me.. was his "I Can't Stop Loving You" performance. Omg he's so cute.. and yeah I can't get that song out of my head now... man and "with L.O.V.E" haha

Man, I just got back from watching it.. :( :) :( :)
I bought a "This is It" shirt and the album right from the theater and put the shirt on to match my sequined glove without even thinking it. I got some "awww" s' from some people in the audience when I walked in to find my seat. My friends wore their gloves too. One girl went all out and had the whole nine MJ outfit.

The film itself was unforgettable yet, you have to see it more than once just to grasp MJ again in his final days. He was truly awesome.
And a perfectionist. And you can play a counting game with how many times he uses the word "love" in the film. He was all love.
Really nice, direct and pro.
The dancers were amazing too and it was heartfelt to hear their story regarding dancing with MJ.

Every time they showed what they were going to bring for a specified song, it KILLED me.
I kept saying "daaamn... that WOULD have been INCREDIBLE."
The ideas that were put into this was never seen before in any concert ever.

And it just made me feel sooo sad about it.
You also get this up close feeling with MJ. Like you're right there with him. And that is also when it hits you. This man is no longer here with us... damn it. But then again... after seeing this film, I told my best friend "you know what? He was too good to be stuck in this planet... He's one of those you feel belongs on another planet far better than ours.". He was really a special and REAL human being. And we are all lucky to have existed in the same world as he.

Well... the entire documentary was bitter sweet. While we clapped many times and cheered, we also fell in silence. The only thing I really didnt like about this film.... was that it felt too short. I didn't want to leave the theater. In fact, I didn't. I stood there until the the light turned on and nothing was on the screen.

I hope the DVD has even more footage whenever it becomes available.

Man....
Why did he have to go so soon....

goodnight everyone. And lots of love to all.

You are so lucky, Tyga. My crowd sucked for the most part. I think most of the big MJ fans were across town at the other theater where the movie was sold-out a long time ago.

Looking forward to seeing it again on Halloween....the crowd should be much better and I anticipate a lot of MJ costumes. :)

But my absolute favourite part was when he was testing out the cherry picker and it went out and he went....

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

(He's such a joker :p)

I laughed so hard at this!!! It was priceless!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
:lmao:

I also loved when he was criticizing the sound people and then adds, "but I say that with love. L.O.V.E."

Yeah, it's like.. ''It's all about Love man, but.. shut up and listen to me!''

On the J5 melodies. He was having trouble with his ear piece. But I loved stop the love you save.

It was funny when he kept saying that's why rehearse. LOL!

It was awesome the crowd clapped and laughed at some points but that was it.

thanks Defdave and Tyga, i can go to sleep now, keep on enjoying what you all saw, i'll see if i can dream something :) bye all

My theater was definitely concert like! We applauded after almost every song, we laughed, we clapped and cheered! We heckled but in a good way! It was really great to be there with fans.

I dare anyone to complain on this board about his vocals.

IT WAS PERFECT.... there were times when he was saving his voice..... but IT WAS PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TDCAU was absolutely awesome, Smooth Criminal was awesome, Earth Song had me crying..... wow!!!!

Exactly right, mjjfan4ever and HeartbreakHotelMJJ. His vocals were INCREDIBLE! It was so good to see him sing live again.

Man....I wish he was still with us to do these concerts.

WHAT A LOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a supposed "spoiler" thread, you guys aren't spoiling too much! Go into MORE detail!.........please?! :) Oh, and why have none of you mentioned Bad or Thriller!?

"Fist in my ear" was funny.

What'd you all think about the Smooth Criminal videos? Didn't your jaw drop when you saw those? I felt like I was back in 1988 again. That was so well done and seamless going back and forth and Mike looked great. And the marquee with all the special effects!!! Wow.

Glad I'm not the only one!

Details! Details! Details!

How did the movie flow? Did the conceptualize how things SHOULD have been vs what we were seeing in this technical rehearsals?

Did they show the final costumes? Any costumes we haven't seen in any of the previews?

Sorry for all the ?'s... I'm not seeing it until tomorrow and I wanna know!
