The extras themselves sound fine, but what people really wanted was more performances, more footage. With a hundred hours of footage there's got to be at least a few more bits they could thrown on there.

why would they put more extras on the blue ray than on the dvd? That isn't fair and I hope that information isn't true. It should be the same on both.

Blu Ray discs have much more space on them, just a single layer is 25gb, it makes sense for them to put more features on. Blu-Ray is more expensive aswell but with the extra features, more people will opt for the BluRay DVD. And some don't have BluRay compatible DVD players and TV's so no doubt people will be wanting them for Christmas etc. It might sound stupid spending money just to watch a DVD but it will probably be some people's excuse to upgrade. And who makes some of the best selling HDTV's? Who makes PS3's (BluRay compatible consoles)? Who makes BluRay players? Yep, SONY. :)

This Is It = A heck of alot of cash for them, not just from the CD's, DVD's and screenings.

Why the hell do they put the crappy Meet The Dancers shit on the DVD and not the vignettes or the extra footage of Michael?

Sony really treat the fans like shit sometimes.

That leaked list of extras looked fairly legit to me.

Putting a bunch of shitty extras about the dancers on the DVD and saving the unseen MJ footage for the Blu Ray sounds like the kind of crappy thing Sony would do.

there might not even be any unseen mj footage in the blu ray. I hope we do though.
 
I don't have a blu ray disc player or a compatible tv to play a blue ray disc player..I'm sure a lot of fans don't so, it isn't right that they would put more on a blue ray than on a dvd.. :(

So there is a one-disc version and a two-disc version? Great. And 3 months after it's released there will be a super-duper 3 disc version.

I agree. At this time I don't give a damn about the dancers, singers and costume! Do they think MJ's fans are interested in those? Now that Michael is gone? I don't think so! It's the last thing we'll EVER get from Michael!

I thought you were 'all about quality'. Im quite suprised you dont have a blu ray player if your so into the quality of videos.

i will have a player in some years
 
i hope it will be released in december 2009 but now with the extension in cinemas i dont think it will be released on dvd this year, maybe january 2010!
 
I'd say in January the movie will go to release for both DVD and Blu-Ray.
 
My amazon.com order status says : " The following item will arrive after December 25, 2009. "
 
I guess sometime in january, but it was just a notice that you wont be getting it by christmas i think
