Latest on MJJC

You know you're obsessed with MJ when...

I don't if its on here yet, but You know you're obsessed when you own all his albums in original form, special editions, and other re-issues yet you still get excited whenever you hear one of his songs on the radio.

There's just something magical about knowing that you are not the only one hearing the song at that very moment. :)

Great thread! I do most of those in the lists! It's kinda embarrassing 'cause I'm a 59 yr old woman! LOL You young girls have more of an excuse? ROTF?

Also - Get frustrated when I haven't had "my daily dose of Michael" ie: hearing a song or two, watching youtubes, reading his books or about him in a mag, etc. Talking about how fabulous he is to someone else! Seeing his sweet smile, over and over!

omg...I do it too! It's funny because whenever I do it, I think to myself, "geez, i'm psycho-obsessed with him, I wonder if other Michael fans do this too...Nah, definitely not..." I'm happy to learn that I was wrong!

I was in the library doing some research for a paper and there was a book on US economic trade in 1984, and my brain immediately connected it to Michael....

Also, everytime I hear Michael, Mike, Jackson or any MJ songs, I zone in and focus on that.

Okay so this is scarey. I was sick with the flu and watched only movies from the 80's - wondering if MJ had seen them and what he thought about them. Doesn't dare talk to shrink about it...:smilerolleyes:

Haha, i love how you've asked about million times whether he saw certain parts- he was probably thinking "I was there!" I'm exactly the same though! :)

Another few...;
(not sure if this one has been done actually) - When you have more than 1 greatest hits album if not all- as long as Michaels names on the cover, your buying it!
- When you watch a video of him with your family and your giggling away at something funny he does, then you look around and no one else is laughing. (Everything he does is cute & funny to us! lol)
- When you always think to yourself "What would Michael do?" or "What would Michael say?"
- Instead of saying "Come on!" you say "Shamone!"
- Telling your friends things like "Dont worry, just Keep The Faith." - whilst secretly thinking in your head, hehe i put in something Michael related there & they won't even notice! (Is that too sad? lol!)
 
When you see certain words which causes a Michael song to automatically pop into your head. Like "save" and hearing "stop the love you save" looping endlessly in your head. Or hearing your mom say the word "remember" and having the urge to sing "Do you remember..."
 
Yeah..... when you use the lyrics expressions in your daily life to complete actions and people's words... it's true! Me too... :)

When the second you've got the house to yourself you sing for literally an hour at the top of you voice every Michael song you know so the neighbours can hear!

When you go out to the shops for the sole purpose of finding a new DVD/CD to add to your already huge Michael Jackson collection

You know you're obsessed with Mikey when you go out driving, pumping Michael at the maximum volume level hoping that a fellow Michael fan hears and appreciates it! Or gives me a wave hehe

I'm yet to find those fans haha. Just lots of onlookers who look at me weirdly haha :p

Hehehe....I've done this plenty of times...After we left the theatre the first time we saw "This Is It", my sister and I blasted MJ while driving out of the parking lot with everyone still outside going to their cars...I saw a lot of smiles!

This list is really good. But only the ones in red is really true for me. For number 4 I like to listen to other kinds of music. But after listen to them for a little awhile I just have to put Michael right back on. Because he is who I feel more comfortable to listen to the most. For number 12 it wasn't a semi depression I went in to after Michael's death. It was a full blown deep depression. Which I'm still pretty much in now. For 29 my computer only crash twice because of it. The first time it happen I had lost all of my MJ pictures and videos. I was very upset about it. But when it happen a second time I was able to have my computer restore to where I was able to get back all of the pictures and videos of Michael that I thought I lost for good. And for number 55. I haven't had my hair cut in over 9 years because of my curls. Because they remind me of so much of Michael's curls. That I do not want to lose them if I got my hair cut.


Here is some other ones that is me. That wern't listed:


You wear Michael Jackson t-shirts 24/7

You wear black pants, white socks, and black loafers all of the time

You wear a MJ necklace 24/7

You wake up and go to sleep thinking only about Michael

You go to a window and look up at either the clouds and the stars and talk to them. because it is your way of talking to Michael.

You have to make it a point to listen to Michael a few times or so a day every single day.

For the first few months after Michael's horrible death. You had dreams and nightmares about him every single time you went to sleep.
 
You look at your phone- not for the messages, but to stare at the photo of MJ you have on the screen plus the others you have already stored. (yup, Michaeling on my cellphone :))

When you're bored, you either doodle his face, write his name or write your first name and his last name or do all of these on whatever paper, notebook or notepad you have.

Waiting for someone to design a ring with the MJ logo too. Of course, I know which finger to put it on :ph34r:

You wage war on anyone who says bad things about Michael(even he/she is your best friend, sibling, parent, cousin, uncle/aunt, boss at work, etc.

You hate Sony for milking Michael Jackson but will still buy any Michael Jackson related item released by them.
 
Things I constantly do at work are instead of saying come on I say 'shamone'. When I hurt myself I have to say owwwwww instead of ow. Oh and everytime I have to write love I always write it l.o.v.e.
